Psychodidae... perhaps the appropriately named Clogmia albipunctata in the larval stage... This variant is a common Australian drain fly.. (Well, it's common nearly everywhere, even here in FL...though we have other species of psychoda.)
I love how you leave a clean area. Some don't, they peck up their tools and maybe trash they left. The rest is left for the customer to clean. Not peoffesional.

You know, if I had a dollar for everytime a plumber told me they couldn't jet the inlet or outlet of a grease trap because "it's full", I'd be a millionaire. Sir, you're just proving that it can be done. Thank you for that. Of course, that's why my company offers grease trap pumping and cleaning and we'll add hydrojetting services...2 birds, 1 stone! Bruce you keep putting don't watch but yet we all watch thinking your going to get plastered in it. Did you ever get plastered in it with a drain that explodes so quickly you couldn't get out the way quick enough? Your videos help me with calming down and they can be very relaxing at times. I wonder if you've ever pulled out a dead animal in the drains, I've have come across a animal fallen in a grease trap due to the lid not being put back on. It's heartbreaking but it does happen, but never seen a danger noodle as you call it in a drain especially in Australia. Australia is a on my bucket list to visit as a great place and to visit a grave of my childhood hero. Your a legend Bruce keep doing great work.

I myself live on the worlds longest fresh water beach in Canada and I have not been fortunate enough to be able to do any travelling ever, so the clips in which included some driving scenes are awesome as well. I just can't unsee that as Bruce puts the jet in and begins unblocking the drain, the grease on the left side of the screen looks like a demonic smile that someone would leave as graffiti. Has two commas that are flipped upside down for eyes and then it connects to the mouth for the smile.
Those bugs look a lot like some sort of larvae. I know that gnats and other flies love laying their eggs in drains so probably them. Then again, I don't know how a fly would get into those drains without being flushed away with how those accesses are screwed on.
One of these days, you're going to loose screws, screw drivers, etc. down the holes from having the parts too close to where you are working, especially with water running.😟😮
