On the doorstep of Christmas and I'm still here unblocking blocked drains. The client at this property requested i used the old school drain cleaning machine rather than the jetter.

Seriously as soon as you put the camera next to the sewage my dog let a fart go and I almost puked thought smellavision was up and running

I used to be an arborist for literally half my life and i cant tell you how many times I've asked clients if their plumbing was acting funny after watching a patch of yard survive the dry season in Florida (USA) while everything else is struggling to not die. 🤣😂 Very awkward conversations were had.
I don't understand why anyone would be incredulous about you loving your job! Think about it, you make a living doing a job where you typically get instant visual gratification, the customer is always excited and happy to see that you've got there, you're solving a problem most are at a total loss to deal with but everyone needs solved ASAP, and it actually is a good paying line of work. It's doing a job that is required to allow society to function, literally society and just life in general would get weird quickly if the drains quit running and no-one was there to fix it.
Tell me about it. Most deal with plumbers on the worst days of their lives. "aww matem, me dunny's blocked, can you save the day?"
@@shep9231the only thing I’ve noticed is they get in awkward positions. I imagine lots of advil for back pain.

@@nickcarroll8565I work in a hospital as a maintenance guy. We have 80 showers, 150 toilets, and around 170 sinks, and a full commercial kitchen.
I can confirm that lots of the work is awkward due to pipes always being hidden away when possible. And it does lead to back and shoulder pain.
That said, I can also confirm it is fulfilling to help people.
I had a friend whose family were all plumbers and their motto was 'your shit is my bread and butter'😂

Ive watched a few of your vids now, I honestly thought you must have been adding the commentary later. Partly because your audio is so good.
I also work at people's houses (mowing & maintenance) and i cant help but constantly feel under pressure to be in a hurry. Like, when you're taking the time to commentate the brown christmas, I'd be running and panicking to try and stop it before it hits the nieghbours yard. I am IN AWE of your patience and character.
As an Aussie it's obvious you're exaggerating your accent through your vocal rythym for the non-aussies, but it works.
You are doing something right here mate, bloody keep it up.

I don’t think he’s exaggerating the Aussie accent as keeping it up consistently is so tiring. His accent sounds like the country one like Steve Irwin’s full of “mate” and “bloody”.

I came across this channel by accident but its now one of my favourites.
I guess people don't understand how a hydro jet can cut tree roots, but I used to work at a sheet metal shop, and they use high pressure water jets to cut sheet metal!
Tempered glass too. Inside corners.
Honestly what shocks me more is how they cut the roots and not strait through the pipe work. Its pretty incredible

Amazing! When that inspection cover came off it turned what was just a patch of drab sand into something like a cross between Fantasy Island and The Blue Lagoon! I wanted strip down to my undies and go for a swim, absolutely beautiful, a sub tropical lagoon in their own backyard.
I just Subscribed - after watching 10+ excellent bloody videos here in HCMC Vietnam. Great memories of Perth and Australia after moving here from Brisvegas 6 years ago. Keep up the banter it's like music to my ears.

I gotta say as the weather's turned to snow making levels that looks like a much better way to spend Christmas. Before you ask yes I do Ski both Downhill & Cross Country as well as Snow Shoe so I do enjoy my winter activity's but as you break the double nickel & the production of natural antifreeze drops they loose their attraction
