Man deadpool's one of those morally grey characters even tho wade's motivation was to no longer kill people without any reason and be a better person? I mean didn't he also took contract from the clone of Cable and went to kill innocent people cause his daughter's life was at risk? Was there any moment when Wade realizes his actions were wrong or what it feels like to turn his words against him?
Pretty sure there were several situations like that, but he also points out that there are things that are more important to him than the moral high ground.
Yeah he isn’t morally gray at all, Wade is a fucking asshole and he knows it. He blatantly says it. Just because his actions sometimes end with good things happening doesn’t mean he wasn’t selfish the entire time and did it for the right reasons because he clearly didn’t. Even with D&W, Wade is doing this PURELY for selfish reasons and not to save any realities on a whole; or so I assume, he literally says to Wolverine “I’m doing this to save everything I care about”
If killing dozens to hundreds, if not thousands of realities, means that Wade Wilson gets to keep fucking Death and have his daughter, he’ll do whatever it takes. Wouldn’t be the first time he killed an entire universe.
I think with him having full knowledge of the writer it would be safe to assume that he would believe that it's the writer's choice to keep the character dead

DP has never been a character to overstay his welcome. No writer has ever written him to go beyond plot armor. The stories with him are consistent to his core principles as a character. I mean, sure, you can read issues where 50% of the panels are corny af but never to the point of boredom

Deadpool's appearance is due to his cancer and regeneration going Civil War in his body, and last time I checked while the trait to have cancer can be passed on in DNA, being born with active cancer cannot.
