I have a 2011 G37 with Nav. Does it integrate with the existing GPS antenna and microphone or do I need to install the GPS antenna and mic that comes with the kit?
On their website they mentioned it integrate with everything existing in the car
You will need to install the microphone and GPS antenna that come with the system. All factory features keep working as well.
Would this work for Infiniti G25 2011
Yes it will work. Please check our website gromaudio.com and use "Find what fits your car" search widget on the home page to find the system that will fit to you specific stereo.
I have a 2011 G 37 coupe without navigation. My screen is not touchscreen. Does the equipment come with a new touchscreen, or will I have to use CarPlay without touch controls? Thanks for your response
The equipment comes without touchscreen as in your vehicle you will be able to use knob controls to control the functions of CarPlay, and select appropriate app. You can also add the touchscreen overlay that we sell, and convert your non-touch screen into the touchscreen.
Here is the link to the VLine VL2 system that will work in your 2011 G 37 vehicle without factory navigation:

Does this work for 2008 g35x no navigation ?

I have the NIS9 unit for my Infiniti q70 and there is a ~2 second audio delay. Will there ever be an update to fix this?
Can you please tell me when the audio delay happens, what app do you use?
@@gromaudio it seems to happen all the time, but is most noticeable when using CarPlay (wireless or wired) because the audio delay makes phone calls not possible. The delay causes the other person to hear an echo of themselves
@@Dookie55555 If they hear the echo, you need to adjust microphone gain. Please check with our technical team at gromaudio.com/support.html They will help.
@@gromaudio Hi, I did attempt to adjust the mic gain but I don’t think that’s the issue. Since the audio signal is not outputting from the car speakers at the expected time, and instead it outputs 1 to 2 seconds late, the active echo cancellation is not working as designed.
@@Dookie55555 I recommend to contact our technical team at gromaudio.com/support.html They will help.

Excellent video but I have a couple of questions.
I currently drive 2009 Infiniti G37s coupe. I know the device in the video fits my car. Does the display the resolution on the stock screen in HD? What is the resolution will it display?
The second question is I have noticed that you have to put the device in the glove compartment. Will it cause to heat up in the summer since it is placed in a small confined space? Thanks
Zack
Thank you for your interest in GROM VLine system!
The screen will use the same resolution that your current screen has. It does not change the resolution of the screen.
The device is designed to withstand high temperatures, as it is designed for the automotive environment. So it is ok to place the device into the glove compartment, and many our users do it.
@@gromaudio understood. Thank you for the response. I have one last question,
I know GROM comes with android auto and Apple CarPlay. Do I need to update the system frequently on the GROM? Thanks
Zack
@@ubiased23 We recommend updating it on the regular basis, as we always implement new features. However you do not have to do it.
Will this work for my g37 2014 sedan ?!!
Yes it will. Does your car stereo have factory navigation? Depending on that different model of GROM VLine will fit.
@@gromaudio no no navigation
@@projectmoneyent.2105 We are unsure. Please send us a photo of your stereo, while playing FM mode, to support at gromaudio.com and we will check and let you know.
There is no g on 2014 🤣🙃
will this work on my 2014 infiniti q60 ?

Does the device take up alot of space in the glove box? I like having a clean look and plenty of space for owners manual, insurance papers, etc.
Also will the white cable going from the glove box to the center have to be sticking out or is it possible to hide it
The Dimensions: W / H / D - 120* 160 * 33 mm
Weight: 400g
You can check yourself how much space will it need. Yes you can hide the cables, all really depends on how you prefer to install it.
We always recommend to have the device accessible and not buried inside the dashboard, for an easier maintenance.
Few questions
-does installing this unit make the main center console useless? (Referring to the arrows, maps, aux etc. and the hazard lights button)
- do the steering wheel buttons still work
Thank you for your interest. All factory features will keep working with the installation of VLine VL2 system. The steering wheel buttons will keep working as well.
Can you switch back and forth between the OEM display and CarPlay?
Yes you absolutely can do it.
$700 for Wired Carplay is too much. Make it wireless!
VLine system supports both wired and wireless CarPlay, and wired and wireless Android Auto.
Could I pay for this service to be done?
You can contact your local car stereo shop to do the install for you.
The G37 has little glove box storage as it is. From that standpoint, this is poor. A true plug & play solution would swap the new for current head unit.
If you swap the factory headunit, you need to integrate it with the other parts of your system, including backup cameras, sensors, amplifiers, etc.. Here is our take on it:
gromaudio.com/blog/2021/01/hidden-cost-of-replacing-the-factory-radio/
If there is no space in the glove box, you can place VLine unit below it. Knowledgeable installer will know what to do, to keep the unit accessible.
Does backup camera still work?
Yes the backup camera will keep working.
