I remeber this year, i whas in German and we where having a party for my granma that night. pretty sad cause all of my family are esc-freaks! hehe so we went to the living room to watch jacob sing, and when we came back to the party everybody whas like: "oh Jacob did so well:D
Ive already heard this years Danish Eurovision entry. Its good, one of my favourites so far, even if it sounds like something that boyzone would do!
AHH I loved this song in esc :) One of the best songs Denmark ever had, for real.
// Swedish girl
omg 5 years..
Stadig en af de absolut bedste!
It was just awesome,wow 5*****
This is SO good! :)
Jeg tænder på dig.... Tralalala.... :O)
I'm still a proud dane, Jakob did a great job in Kiev, an deserved a higher rank!
Denmark put songs in Eurovision that are worth listening too. Greetings for Westhoughton ,bolton .England.
I remember when he came to Iceland , when it was Danish days at Stykkirhólmur epic :)
this version is great. but the danish version is AMAZING :D
i like this song:D i saw this man at friday, he is very friendly, and good singer.
and I prefer lirycs at danish.
wait for this year! we will rock your socks off. the song from denmark this year is a sure winner. just as this one and the olsen brothers was.
if you like danish music give Kashmir a try "Graceland " hear that one.
It's unfair the this song didnt wun! It was the best song that year!
He di´nt nail it - but a winner he was :-)
Kære Jesper...
Ville gerne...
Tak for de pæne ord.
JS
Lol' i forgot that this song was so good!
Though i like it more in danish :D
i really don't understand how songs like this don't win...the shit that usually wins eurovision are well, shit...
Im British but for some odd reason I LOVE Danish music-I love Alphabeat, I love "80 Years" by Dune and year upon year upon year I love Danish Eurovision entries-Fly on the Wings of Love, Talking to You, All Night Long but never drama queen-he/she was absolute shit!
It should have finished even higher that year.
@2ketrin I really agree. I sang it for my wife at our wedding (in Danish though)
Thanks for your comment :) i'm danish so thansk :D
Weren't Jakob's shoes smashing? The first Danish song to reach the Eurovision final since 2002, Mr Sveistrup finished an impressive third in the 2005 semi-final, despite rhyming the word 'ocean' with 'devotion'.
The song has since been taken on by Denmark's premier telecommunications company to encourage it customers to run up higher bills by constantly chatting to each other over the phone. It replaced their previous jingle - some rap by a bloke in leopard skin pants about directory enquiries.
Does anyone hear the resemblance with Denmark 2001? Both are great songs by the way.
I agree it should have won. I think it should have won sung in English or Danish. Obviously because I don't understand Danish I love the English version.
I think the Danish version Jeg tænder på dig is better, but this is still great. I absolutely adore the song in Danish and his voice is just brilliant, and the tune is so catchy and just-nice to listen to! It's sad that this song didn't score higher.
Yes i know it's from Denmark!
The comment was for fireman2224!
Yes they are not dancers but backup singers.
Like many said, this version is good, But i prefer the Danish version much better :)
Greece won this year (2005) and Jakob (who sings this song) was no 10.
he should have won!
Du må bare deltage i næste års Grand Prix. ;o)
I think you forgot a lot of countries
??, why was that ment for me?
he hot :D
This is good. But I like the dansih version better ;)
denmarkgirl13: ikke "turn on you" men "turned on by you" :o)
This song is from Denmark and not the UK :)
@PianoFatso
If he sang in danish and everybody could understand danish you would say it should have won. It's way better in danish
