Love the colorgrading, I have an a7iii also and I'm expirementing alot with the log profiles and colorgrading in Davinci, can I ask what log profiles did you use and did you use a plugin like cineprint/dehancer to grade this?
@@natecizzle i am currently using hlg3 i find better results with it than with slog2 because of the 8-bit sensor. I am using filmvision as my base grade for color grading in davinci :)
yes it’s a fantastic camera for the budget! have had it since 2021! I’ve been studying it in and out ever since and get to use it to it’s fullest potential!
@@manavsnapp thank you bro! I am really amazed too that I was able to get these colors despite it being 8-bit. Was honestly the biggest con of my camera but I made it work with good grading!

Did you know u were going to go down to 3:2 in post or did you think you were gonna keep the 16:9 you shot on?
I knew I was gonna go 4:3 but I still framed everything in 16:9 :)
What is the color grading or preset in light room did you used?
I use Davinci Resolve!
What aspect rate is it ?
It’s 3620 x 2160 so it’s not really 4:3, no clue to be honest haha. Just nabbed the aspect ratio from Gawx

if you look at my past works, it’s defined a trial and error, only got the best colors now!
