I wanna start my journey with this camera, should I see other options or should I just get this one, I shoot motorcycle race events and short videos for social media help me out.
I'm a photographer for all styles and this camera has the best ISO in photography than all the new releases, A1, A7IV, A9, Z9 and R3. waiting for Sony to launch something that surpasses it in this regard.
Purchased my A7III in May 2023 with a Sigma 24-70 2.8. Can affirm the photography performance, absolutely beautiful images. Not a massive videographer myself but my most wanted features are 10bit colour and 4k60. Also, the lack of an articulating screen is particularly annoying for vertical shooting. Another big issue which I was aware of but didn't fully comprehend until using it is the poor screen quality. The low resolution really makes a difference, making it difficult to see focus even in AF, and other screen elements. Lack of 4k60 is the biggest reason to not buy in 2024 I would say, otherwise it could easily last another 10 years, especially photography wise. Price is super cheap right now for what it is but it may be worth comparing to used A7iv prices. A great camera that will continue to age well into the next decade.
Got mine, a used one, this January during my trip to Japan. Dreaming of a full frame camera since more than ten years and now it happened. To me, it’s the best camera I have ever owned. Nothing bad to say about my A6300 and RX100 III but the picture quality of the A7 III is just superior. Anyways, your video is great as always.
@@carlosaldaz233 ah okay! Good luck! I’d be too scared to put my A7IV up in a club with lasers even if I knew the angles but you know what you’re doing.
Hello, in my region, this machine and the Fujifilm X-S20 are sold for the same price. Frankly, will be my first time buying a camera. In general, I am thinking of taking portrait shots and sharing them on social media for fun. I don't think I will make a video. I would be happy to receive your suggestion. Thank you, stay well :)).
I just got an a7iii for 500 bucks, 12k shutter count, and bout a samyang 24-70 2.8 for 800. I think it's gonna be a pretty good setup for 1300 bucks! When something works I think it will always work! Great video. Of course tue new stuff gets better..
I have just bought the A7 III and the 55mm f/1.8 Zeiss lens, and I am really happy with this combination. The low-light performance is definitely awesome. By the way, what trekking backpack are you using in the video?
you can get a7iii used in great condition for under 1000euros (1000usd in usa); with a bit of thinkering and getting to know how to use it you can have amazing results. a7iii for video is still great! Slog3 is great even though it's 8 bit, just use cine color instead of sgamut and that will fix noise. also, HLG3 in low light even on high iso like 5000 looks amazing, and with almost no noise. at f2.8, ISO 5000 and 1/50 shutter, you have enough light for HLG3 in city night scenes, stop down to 2.0 or lower if you need more light. Even in 1080p it's looking great, the trick is to set the details to 0, manual, type5 and sharpen it in post. that will look soo much better than original 1080p. also, a7iii supports downscaling 4K to 1080p over HDMI, so if you plan to use it with video switcher like atem mini, you can set it to run on 4K, and then in HDMI settings set it to 1080p HDMI out. that will give you amazing 1080p video for live streaming only thing that anoys me on a7iii (compared to newer sony cameras, and even apsc line like a6400) is the autofocus especially in SLog. It misses more times than it works in Slog3 especially if there is a strong backlight. on HLG and without PP it works great. a7c fixed that- so IMHO if you don't need second SD card, a7c is the way to go as the best camera for the money you can get now
