At around 2:30 it says charging rates are faster than lithium, but then at 5:45 it says sodium batteries charge slower than lithium
Yeah, this is what happens when you compile different documents from different sources and times into one video without knowing what you are actually saying 😂.
Except energy density you can buy today a sodium battery that charges quicker, has even more cycles that li-ion and it is safe and more robust.
Edit: By today I mean aliexpress 😂 you can find the videos testing each brand. So far they tend to live to expectations not like the cheap li-ion sold on aliexpress 😂

CATL and other Chinese battery company already have Sodium Ion Battery in production... problem is now LFP battery price has down so much and the fast charge have improved so much that sodium battery cost effective is still not have all advantages that not many EV company make the switch yet. In fact lithium price has drop so much that miners have to stop production ie in Australia as the cost of production is too much compare to the current lithium price
Indeed biggest price factor is not lithium but nickel and cobalt. hence LifePo is getting traction .

Charging time - 2 or 8 hours
Low/high temperature may stop working..
What’s wrong with LEP lithium batteries or solid state lithium batteries
If you don't know that, you never appreciate the advantages of SIB. Besides that, it is the only type with a long life that is really safe to use as in-house battery storage.
