Yes, looking at the original, your suggestions sounds closer (I think the note before Bb would also need to be changed)
As far as I know Jay is arranging these by ear, so they end up being slightly different from the originals.

A few songs to look into maybe, that I think would sound nice on an Ocarina:
Hymn to Pan by Faun
I'll fly for You by Patty Gurdy (performed for Carnival Row s1, specifically the shorter version for the show)
Grieve No More by Patty Gurdy (performed for Carnival Row s1, specifically the shorter version for the show)
I dunno if it would actually work and they'd translate well to an Ocarina, but Hymn to Pan does have a flute in some of the musical sections, and the two from Carnival Row are both short songs without a lot of complexity to them

I have a request for some tabs, I notice a distinct lack of Runescape music, that could be remedied. Sea Shanty 2 is the most well known of them, while other songs like Newbie Theme, Flute Salad, and some of Al Kharid might be able to translate to Ocarina well.
