@Nah mate the vast majority of homeless folks are mentally ill. They still deserve to be housed. So do addicts. You wouldn't treat someone suffering from any other disease like they don't matter or are undeserving of help. They are still a human being. I have been homeless, and not because I was on drugs. I left an abusive relationship with NOTHING. I had a full-time job, but it wasn't enough to afford food and rent and I have a degree. Don't judge people you know absolutely nothing about. Being kind costs you nothing.
I work in the ❤️ of skid row. Alot of people are scared to work here. I work from. 4pm to 1am I get cat called, pulled up on, or followed almost on a DAILY. But.... at the same time alot of the regulars actually lookout for me, I work in a clinic and I bag up leftover 🥪, ♻️, and T/P that otherwise get tossed and give it to the homeless instead of throwing it away. And they thank me, and make sure I get from one building to another safely.

There was another killer that was popular on Western in LA that killed prostitutes. I don’t remember hearing about it in the news, but I remember not seeing prostitutes disappear for a bit
The sad part of this was the callous, apathetic disregard for the homeless people. 😢 They are people too, people with a story. Even though they were dealt a bad hand in life, they were people too and the police and authorities did nothing...😢😢😢
My dad works in Downtown LA he even had to deal with how Biggie and Tupac died he had to work on several cases that involved his death God bless him for all the dangerous has put himself and in his whole career of being a police officer

There is a utube channel called "soft white under belly" he interviews people from skid row and occasionally some others... Most of the people are from/live on skid row. 98% of the interviews are from people who he pulls in off skid row. I recommend going and checking it out. Great channel.
