How do i mod this game?
Firstly you need to play on PC, you can't mod on consoles.
Next you need the Frosty Tool Suite which you can download at frostytoolsuitedev.gitlab.io/ .
You can download mods from www.nexusmods.com/mirrorsedgecatalyst/ and add them to the Frosty Mod Manager (from which you must launch the game to use the mods).

If you want to make your own mods you use the Frosty Editor.
There are tutorials on RUclips or on the Frosty Discord server ( discord.gg/nrq7G5Q ) on how to use both the editor and mod manager!

You can un-check them in the list of applied mods to disable them, or you can remove them from the mod manager entirely. You'll need to relaunch the game for the change to have an effect though.

Skins should have been a default feature of the game. Start off with a few basic ones like 2008, prologue, and standard, and let others be unlocked through runner kits. It'd make them much more desirable than they are now.
Freezing Blue
It’s honestly pointless because you never see faith and the cutscenes are pre-rendered meaning you can’t change anything in the cutscenes.
But sadly it’s not in ps4 :(
@@crysalistwo189 You can see Faith in some takedown animations, if you have the fov high you can see her arms at all times and when you roll you can see her legs, and also if you look down you can see Faith's whole body (minus the head of course) I know i'm replying late but i still wanted to make my point. Edit: I'm pretty sure the cutscenes aren't pre-rendered, a few days ago i was playing with breadmode (a bug that allows you to be unable to die) and since when you use breadmode Faith's model dissapears, while watching the 2 cutscenes that play at the start of the shard mission, in the cutscenes, Faith was completely invisible except for her hair, so idk where did you get that information about pre-rendered cutscenes and not being able to see Faith, have you even played Mirror's Edge Catalyst?
I like the fact that not only are the mods that are being showcased here nice and simplistic, but that the player is actually good. Not constantly stumbling, missing jumps, and horrendous at the combat lol

One of the things that make me wanna use skin mods is the fact of lackness is faiths outfit, I always hated the fact that her legs/feet were a bit exposed and that her left arm was always empty, with no equipment, not even a glove or bracelet

You see, this is the kind of stuff you should've been able to unlock from runner's kits and challenges. Actually make it at least a neat little tweak or something instead of icons and echoes that you hardly ever see and aren't really that diverse or interesting. I guess it's just another way in which the game is kind of a half hearted follow up with some cool points, rather than the kind of awesome follow up that many fans were hoping for. Now, don't get me wrong, I like it, but there are a number of points at which it feels like they just didn't do something because the developers looked at it and were like "Um... nah, let's not bother, it's good enough." But I guess that's kind of what you should expect from EA, although even then, they never really made a worth a shit DLC to spice up the game, just more fucking runners kits.
One thing I absolutely hated, other than skins not being in runner kits, is the half-assed skill tree. In the original, you could do everything off the bat and things were only limited by your skill. then they shoved in a skill tree because: every game needs skill unlocks, otherwise, how are players going to feel like they've progressed, hurrr...
I wish we could mod the combat from the first game back in. I know its not supposed to be the focus of the game but there isnt much to do in Glass and having harder enemies, or more enemies, or some weapons, would make this much more spicy.

just wondering what themod is like ingame, the cutscenes, the special one off animations we see in game, i hope they are fully functional, this is my first playthrough, and i liked the prologue outfit so much i needed to find a way to get it back

How about some map mods aswell?
Hey, can you make a few mods? no rush. 1. A more vaporwave outfit for faith. 2. Tricks (if possible).
An example for tricks, holding S on a swing pipe makes you do a backflip (vanilla)
There should be a mod where you play as krugersec (without weapon or that will be very hard to mod)
I believe somebody did replace Faith's model with one of the KSEC unit models, but it messed with skeletons such that every actual KSEC unit in the game looked broken.

I don't think it's that simple! Maybe when Frosty has mesh importing it will be possible.
Now I can pretend the game has actual multiplayer

Only the in-world cutscenes, the pre-rendered cinematics can't be changed.

You probably won’t see this but there’s an error message that says “access to the path cas.cat is denied”
Here's a potential solution I found on the Frosty Discord server:
1 - Go to where you have installed the game
2 - Right-click it’s directory
3 - Click on “Properties”
4 - Untick “Read Only”
5 - Apply to all files and subfolders

I'm not sure if you will see this but all of a sudden i'm getting hit with " Could not load file or assembly 'FrostySdk, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' in the Frosty Mod Manager. This was never the case before as it worked perfectly fine! I didn't change or fiddle with any files, and it's just now popping up. I guess you could say i'm requesting help...

It's curious how she's sockless in Catalyst, yet wasn't in the previous game - yet the modders prefer her wearing socks. I would create a mode where she's barefoot.

One thing that makes me loose my M A R B L E S is that they completely removed faith having the ability to use a gun. And I know that the reason behind it is grid lock or something where if someone uses ur gun thats registered or assigned to you it wont work. Kinda sucks. I wish that there was a takedown where she disarms a Ksec guard and just unloads a mag into him and his buddies in the area. Just my opinion.😂
faith is a runner, not a killer. you're not playing as a criminal, or some professional assassin protag trying to save the world. you're just a morally ambiguous citizen trying to make a living. they removed the ability to use a gun, not because of story purposes, but for the sake of focusing the game more heavily on parkour and quick cqb, not straight up murder.
