“The 6 car was coming, but I had 10 angels riding on this race car.” My favorite quote in NASCAR history.
your everywhere man
True
Tristan Ellis Gaming I didn’t hear that in this video.
Tristan Ellis Gaming when Jimmie Johnson won 2:31
PGOLDEN88 2:31
The first one got me the most because Kevin Harvick had won that race not for Richard Childress but, for Dale sr
It got everyone on march 11th 2001
Fr
In a matter of fact the 2001 season is like a made up story but real just look Dale died the day Michael got his first win the following week Steve Park got his final win in honor of Dale and then March 11th 2001 race 4 of 36 with Harvick then the Pepsi 400 the first race back at Daytona Jr wins with Michael second Then 9/11 Robby Gordon winning for Richard at the final race of the season at New Hampshire on 11/23 and the late Bobby Hamilton Sr winning at the first race at a plate track since the death of Earnhardt Jr winning on the same day as Irwin’s death a year prior just so much like a story that one of the best authors would create just a strange year it was
Still missing Steve Park winning at Rockingham the week before. That was emotional too and just carried and made better here. In the two weeks following losing Big E, you had who he started his Cup team with winning the race, followed by the driver that took over his ride.

That Chase Briscoe win was the most tear jerker win I have ever watched
No seriously I almost cried yesterday 😭😭😭
Yea, that was so sad. I can’t imagine how hard it is to deal with that
Chase Briscoe is my favorite Xfinity driver and then when he won after what happened to him.
Same
@RobloxMan12 He just lost a child dude!
RobloxMan12 his baby died in his wife’s stomach and won it not even 24 hours later that’s why he was crying
The tribute and respect all other teams showed to Dale Earnhardt after winning the Daytona 500 got me. I tried not to tear up, but it got me.
Was never a jr fan, but I was in the stands that day he won at Michigan, and boy was I cheering for him that day
I was at that race too! Pretty cool

@@jamiedriver3049 did we just become best friends?
You got to go to a race, in person!? lucky!!!
10:33
What makes this win sadder is that just three years later, the same race would take his life.
@E.W. Hans yeah it was a toss up between that and dales 98 500 win for men
@E.W. Hans Even if I hadn't been his teammate, if I'm in 2nd coming to that white flag there's not enough money in the world that could have gotten me to pass Jr, and I've never even been a Jr fan. I know as a racer you're always supposed to go for the win, but that moment was bigger than any one driver. The whole sport needed Jr to win that race.
@@kodyhightower1903 I know this is an old thread, but you're absolutely right. Jr may not have won as many races as people would have liked him to, but that win makes up for any missed ones for sure.
Dale Sr. winning the 500 gives me chills every time
I am now a Chase Briscoe fan, everybody was yesterday.
I agree bro, I was one of the first to see it and it was really emotional
When did this happen? This week? I can't watch races since I have no TV provider
Agreed even me😂
I have huge respect for chase briscoe even more
@@anthonyf.3009 It happened yesterday, was crazy.
I am upset I can only like this once

Kevin Harvick wins in the renumbered 29 car, the first victory for RCR after Dale Earnhardt Sr’s death
1:06 Martin Truex Jr wins the Coca-Cola 600, girlfriend Sherry Pollex (is that right?) fought and won against cancer
2:16 Jimmie Johnson wins Atlanta, the first win for HMS after the plane crash that killed young prospect Ricky Hendrick and others
3:48 John Hunter Nemechek wins Gateway, brings the Nemechek name back to victory lane
5:15 Matt DiBennedeto’s heartbreak after finishing 2nd to Denny Hamlin at Bristol
6:39 Dale Earnhardt Jr wins Michigan on Fathers Day
7:31 Kyle Busch wins the 2015 championship after breaking his leg at the Daytona Xfinity race that year
8:53 The NASCAR America crew talks about Chase Briscoe’s victory at Darlington, winning after losing his unborn child
10:06 Do I need to say anything?
11:30 I don’t need to say anything, y’all know what happened here
Thanks for the timestamps and context. No context needed for the last two for sure
Thank you
God I love Matty D. He deserves a big-time ride more than any driver I've ever seen. He's done everything the right way his whole career. His love for what he does for a living is so genuine. The day he wins a race I wouldn't be surprised if he receives an Earnhardt-at-Daytona type of reaction from the fans and crews on pit road.
Its sad that they are rushing Burton over to the cup series to replace him
Women: do men ever cry?
This video: Yes. Yes, they do.
McMan we just cry less 🍻😎
AlarmClock we also tend to not show it but 🍻
With all the snow flake guys in this world now I’d say there’s probably a good amount of snow flakes that cry nowadays lol 😂

OMG I cry everytime I see the Matt Dibenedetto interview
That’s the only time I’ve ever wanted a Toyota to win and I was at that race
That was is definitely good...the one with Hannah Newhouse killllsss me
He will definitely win, and we still know it!
After the Matt dibenedetto interview (watching it live) I started to cry after
No gonna lie, that video definitely gave me a reason to keep a closer eye on Matt next season
I'm a man, not a baby.... Only babies cry..
Okay I'm crying.. :(
That assumption, not my favorite. I think men can cry too, especially with chase briscoe
Dw said that it's ok to cry in NASCAR
Real men cry
Don’t be afraid to show emotion
Talking about feel good moments in sport?.... This is it
DennyDelivers I don’t like denny Hamlin
@@nicoyoung16 no one asked...
A Hamlin fan sorry
Yus some more useless RUclips drama
Kevin Harvick is special. To be a rookie thrown into the spotlight, and take over the ride of a legend, everyone was just trying to keep things going. Doubtful anyone ever had as much pressure as he did then. And 20 years later, still arguably the best out there. Not sure if the story is true but I've heard/read it from a few people (online, so take it for what it's worth lol) that Earnhardt told Childress "if you don't hire him I will". True or not, they picked a good one
Nice tribute to #3 after his second win in Atlanta last week
I always loved the fact that Chocolate was the first person to get to Dale Jr after winning at Daytona. There wasn't an official that was gonna get in his way or a crew member that could hold him back. The emotion on the track that day was thick it could've been bottled and sold.
DiBenedetto's one was the best. Grown man, very humble and greatfull literally fighting the tears... really felt that Clip how emotional he was but didnt wanted to cry infront of the tv
Matt is a class act. Definitely deserves a better ride.
DiBenedetto is gonna get his first win this year and everyone will be happy
Yes, he will indeed!
If he doesn’t win he will have a good playoff spot

He should’ve but Nascar just wanted a precious gibbs car to win
*Next Year
I would have added the 2001 Daytona 500 finish, seeing DW in tears after Michael Waltrip has won the race was heartwarming.
Yea but it's also the darkest day the sport has ever seen
P. Takács you should realize that it’s also where tragedy has struck
Too close to call but yes very emotional 😔
I absolutely agree with that in the sense that hearing DW openly cheering his little brother over those final 3 laps live on FOX, along with DW screaming: "Come on, Mikey, You got it, man. You got it. You got it! YOU GOT IT!!!! MIKEY!!!!" was one of the most awesome and endearing displays of emotion in NASCAR history. DW and Michael's exchange in victory lane afterwards was great as well. Unfortunately, that will always be overshadowed by the fatal crash of Dale Earnhardt Sr. before and after that.
@@tomdalfonzo9959 as it damn well should be! Are you fucking crazy?
Thanks for not being a jerk to Kyle like everyone else 🙏
One of the greatest moments of my life was seeing him win it was amazing in 2015
Yeah.👍👍👍
As I often do on NASCAR videos, I talk about similar moment in Supercars.
The 2006 Bathurst 1000 has to be one of the most emotional races in years.
Prior to the race, 9 times Bathurst champion Peter Brock was killed in a Tarmac rally incident.
Eventual race winner Craig Lowndes (with co driver Jamie Whincup) was the man Peter mentored in his early years (1994-1997).
As Craig crossed the line, the in car camera showed him just about crying as he drove to the podium presentation, and during his speech and trophies giving (which was renamed the Peter Brock Trophy) he was visually highly emotional as he fought back tears.
I remember my grandma telling me about that. Why Craig Lowndes is my favorite V8 Supercars driver ever.
Agreed 100%. There was no one that was more worthy of that first Peter Brock trophy than Lowndes
Not to mention that Mark Porter had been killed in a massive at the top of the mountain earlier that weekend as well.
(I also remember reading that after the tribute lap to Peter Brock, Lowndesy looked so out of it that Dane asked if wanted Whincup to start the race instead of him)
Jrs wins in Michigan and the 500 both give me goosebumps and make me so happy at the same time.
I'm a brand new NASCAR fan, literally just started watching this week, and this was a great intro to the sport. Wowzah!
Look up the Polish Lap. It's something that Alan Kulwicki would do when he won a race.
I didn't cry yesterday
I just let water loose out my eyes
Ok fine I cried 😭😭
What happened
Nevermind that was emotional
Kyle Shiflet Chase Briscoe had a Miscarriage (when the non born baby dies) and then won the day after so it was beautiful after the win
I don't care if Matty D wins more championships than Petty, Earnhardt, and Johnson combined, please don't ever lose that humble way. Love you for it.
I really miss Alan Bestwick
Yeah, he didn’t do anything crazy or out of proportion. He kept it in the moment
He was the best
@@pandaexpress7326 Nope, It's Just Because, We Missed Him, In The NASCAR Booth.
Chocolate was in 4 of those moments, why i love him on radio so much. the stories he has!
Dale's '98 500 win and Jr's. '01 Pepsi 400 win will always hit me the hardest.
Gosh that John Hunter one gets me. Especially seeing where he is now
This video: *exists*
Emotions: Allow us to introduce ourselves.
I’m not crying we all are
Truex winning the championship in 2017 should be on here
Matt Dibenedetto deserves more fans.
I am a fan of him
Someone needs to stop chopping onions I swear
I miss the old cup series cars in the 90’s and early 2000’s where they could really get a run and a lot of passing with the aero setup based on the rules back then
Knowing the sad parts of somebody's story really helps us get closer to them. Even if we don't know them. Even if we live thousands of miles away. It makes them look like normal people, they're not these distant super heroes anymore. They are just like us and we want to help them go through tough times. We become fans and supporters. And when they succeed, we feel like we witnessed something special
Its enough to make a grown man cry and thats ok
I'm a 26 yr old black dude and I often try to avoid crying, but watching this did make me feel emotional myself. So, yeah, it is OK for a man to cry.
Gotta have Park's win at Rockingham in here man!
im telling you right now matt dibenedetto is a winner. you put him in a top tier team, he will win. same with chastain.
Both shall go to Victory Lane!
Hometown boy Chastain!!! They’re both deserving of a top tier ride!
He's with a top tier team he's basically a Penske driver he drives for wood brothers
@@Jacksonr2006Don't kid yourself. They're getting second tier equipment from Penske. He's not a Penske developmental driver, so they don't really care about that team right now like they did when Blaney was there or they will when Cindric is there next year.
Girls:men don't cry
July 7th 2001:yes yes they do
1:00 Joy saying “What could (here his voice starts to break with emotion) be more fitting? (breaks even more here)What could be more special?” is a beautiful moment.
Truex set a record in that 2016 coke-600 win he flat out dominated that race.
The DiBenedetto one😫😫😭😭
First Love Your Channel!
0:59 this is why we need Mike Joy
I've never been emotional while watching Dale won his first Daytona500 Race. After I turned 24, at the 20th Memorial Anniversary, I can't help but cry now...
if u make a 2nd video you should include jimmies 7th championship, tony stewarts final win and matt kenseths win at phoenix
I love John Hunter, such a good guy and racer
Man it’s emotional
Where’s JGR finishes 1-2-3 in the Daytona 500 after JD Gibbs’ death?
Andrew Hogentogler The interviews weren’t emotional. The emotion way is the way they choke up and broken down in tears. Although he forgotten the 2009 Pocono interview with Hamlin at victory lane after he lost his grandma.
love that last one 11:30-12:50
I wasn't happy when Chase briscoe won at Darlington but when I saw the emotion coming out of him, I was like ok he deserves that win, and I actually feel bad for him and his wife losing a child I know how it can feel when it happens (and try making a 2nd emotional moments in NASCAR because I saw a couple more that you missed)
In my opinion. The most emotional
Moments are the retirements of drivers.
Dont be sad cause they left.
Be happy that they were here.
Dale was driving Harvicks car ;) Just like he was behind the wheel when Jr won the big one. We miss you Dale, I can’t watch a race and not think of you brother! Race In Paradise!
Should've included Lake Speed's Darlington win in 1988
Why
The Dale 3 salute, yup that had me going
Raise hell and praise Dale.
R.I.P. Do it for Dale 😭😭
That Michigan race was nuts. It was literally the most enjoyable NASCAR race I've ever been too
Sad thing: Nascar won't be in session in person
good news from the future
When Jimmie Johnson retires, that will be on this list.
Jr's chuckle always gets me 😂❤
Lol!! @ 4:44 John Nemechek's facial expressions made him look like that half-wit "Cottontop" from the movie, "Hatfields and McCoys" (2012)
CottonTop:...."It's not allowed". 😂😂😂
It was awesome seeing all the DEI and RCR crews going out to celebrate jrs win.
Anyone else get goosebumps with dale jrs win
No
Man I wish DiBenedetto would’ve won that race
I was there and I was pissed that he didn’t win
Newman screwed him but it worked in his favor, Matty D wins and he wouldn't have made the chase
Nice
Waltrip was not going to let anyone take that race from Jr.
I’m 18 years old
I was born nearly two years after Big E was taken from us
I have to actively hold back tears watching the 01 Pepsi 400 finish
I can’t hold them back at all watching anything related to the finish of the 500 that year.
awesome video!
NASCAR é simplesmente fantástica!👏👏👏🇧🇷
Though I am not a Toyota fan seeing Truex win the 600 and seeing Sherri there and her continued battle against cancer and knowing that Martin has been beside her all along
Another one I can think of is Joe Nemechek’s 1997 Busch win at homestead
I really miss the old NASCAR,this was real racing in my opinion.
I was remembering a song from the Thomas & friends as soon as the video started and a tear or two ran down my cheek
For Dale 🍻
You forgot 2001 just about everything was emotional that year
Harvick and Jr were both from 01.
Dale Jr taking the checkered (and American) flag in the 2001 fall Dover race, certainly qualifies as an emotional moment in my opinion.
That year hit everyone hard
I'm not crying, you are!
Beautiful video thank you very much! The only thing that would make it better was the Gordon 2015 martinsville win. Much appreciated!
If you ever make a part 2 of this, please include Rich Bickle’s interview after his fourth place finish at Martinsville and Darrell and Michael Waltrip at Indianapolis qualifying in 2000.
Who cried yesterday?😭
Me 😭😭😭😭
Me 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
No one
Jet Engnexd no need to be an asshole the dude who won yesterday had a miscarriage on Wednesday night so not a funny joke dude
I'm gonna be honest, I didn't watch the race yesterday

Rest in peace 🥺
People ask, why NASCAR? This video, this is the reason.
I love Nascar. Great highlights!
I am so in love with NASCAR
Fave part of Jr winning at Daytona after the 500 was that Chocolate was the first person to get to him in the grass after he got out of the car 😂😭
Was in the stands that day in 2012 at MIS. Everyone hugging. Some tears. It was just so nice to finally see Dale get that giant ass weight off his shoulders.
I'm pretty sure Dale made that win for his dad. Proud of those guys.
0:30 I think Darrell had a mini stroke at this point and time
We need a part 2 and add Bubba at Talladega
Indeed. When the time comes, also add Jimmie Johnson's final race.

He did?
