This is why I listen to you Mark, you have been there and done that! The truth will set you free, but first its going to piss you off. You're absolutely right, you have to train and be good at something to be great and a lot of people don't put the time in and don't realize how lazy they are. Thank you for the motivation and one day, I hope to be a guest at your gym. #legendinthemaking

Great motivation, don't know how much these videos do for us, I'm an African guy in South Africa 🌍 doing everything to get into the fitness industry but all I hear is we in a 3rd work country, there's no money, no one cares, a lot of negative things but I love it I won't stop until I make my dream happen. Thanks again

Not in a 3rd world country but I am dirt poor and am training my ass off and wont quit until I make it. I have overcome heroin addiction, ptsd, homelessness and a bunch of other shit. Lifting has saved my life and I wont stop until I die.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Mark. I remember a long time ago when I first saw Bigger, Stronger, Faster. Mark is about to bench press 700lbs and his buddy just hits him on his back and screams "this is what you do, this is what you LIVE for!". Mark gets this crazy face and goes out there and does the lift. Holy shit was that scen motivating.

i really feel this was your best speech Mark, i felt all of the emotion you were going through there. And I could see just how intently those guys were paying attention and I think you did a tremendous service for them. ill be listening to this tonight in the gym and i think many more times in the future.

im an over weight girl...im 240 and 5'2 and just started my fitness journey(again) i dont even know how i came across this channel..but i did. im so motivated to lose weight i struggle with severe depression and anxiety.. but im so motivated i cant even explain it. this video was like a breath of fresh air. one thing i struggle with is gym intimidation! i know no one cares but i always feel people will laugh when i go into the weight room. i haven't been to the gym since march of last year and im embarrassed to see the people i saw last time and i fear they'll laugh at how much bigger i got.
this video truly touched me. i know i can overcome my obstacles. and im tired of sitting on my butt and saying ill make changes and then do nothing, and then get mad when nothing changes (so stupid). im even interested in trying deadlifting someday. but one thing at a time..
idk if anyone will ever read this but i just needed to vent. peace and love

Veronica T If anyone laughs it's because of there own insecurities. The people who are in there to put there head down and put in work will only support you. They are there with the same goals you are.

Do you think that everyone has his own "best weight class"?
what im asking is that lets say theres person A and person B.
both of them are the same in terms of height, training history, bodyfat.
but person A is stronger then person B in 185 lbs bw.
and lets say they bulk all the way up to 280 bw.
is it possible for person B be stronger than person A just cuz 280 lbs is more of a ideal bodyweight for person B?
thank you thank you thank you

      just gain weight

    • @lizzybennet5726
      @lizzybennet5726 6 лет назад

My advice, for what its worth. Bench for more sets usually 60%of your one rep max, increase it steadily like 5 lbs every two weeks. Switch up to a 5x5 set now and again. Most importantly, eat well and try benching with the powerlifter way, not bodybuilder. Your shoulders will thank you!
      Happy benching!

    • @1986tdunn

Hey brotha, hope all is well. Try the Hepburn method. You can add 120lbs a year if you stick with it. Good luck. Be well be fit.

Assuming your form is primo and eating at a surplus, look up Disbrow's Deathbench. Calculate your own numbers and run it for 10 weeks. Made some major bench gains from this! Good luck man

How much of this is going to be the same talk we’ve heard a million times? Motivation is good, he’s talks are good if you haven’t heard him talk before, but it seems this is the only content he provides these days
