I’m so happy that I came across your channel. It has helped me and invited me about tea cups and tea pots that we collected over the years. Thank you very much and God bless you and keep it up
Excellent info. The thing I noticed about teapots - I will see a whole bunch of them on the shelf at my local thrift store leading me to believe somebody has decided to unload their collection while Marie Kondo-ing their space or something. And we know their cleaning and space-clearing is our gain!
I am mad for these research videos. They are so interesting to me. I love research. I sell vintage clothing and collect vintage pottery/china. Thank you so much
Oooooooo I’m so glad I found you! You do a great job getting down to the details without going on and on. I learned so much with just one video. Liked & subscribed. 😊
Thank you for all this effort...I adore that Wedgewood Wild Strawberry pattern...there is an older browner town strawberry pattern by them..there was some little childhood book where the Princess received a perfect strawberry and it was the most perfect gift...I got a little shell shaped dish in it after mom passed and I went overboard in grief..lol..I love it. I saw it when new pattern in a little Irish shop in Oregon that probably is no more..it is so delightful. And I remember picking them both wild and at a farm along with raspberries when I was a jam making aunt.
Yes, thanks for the info videos. Was at one of our stores 2 days ago and found a Bauhaus Memphis design white with black lid teapot for a few dollars. I knew you had uploaded the first video concerning teapots and that caused me to take that second look and using Google lens was able to identify it as it is unmarked. (Also found a Glassybaby at the same time). Watching your single subject vids really tends to plant that BOLO mechanism in your head when out looking. Thank for your great work.
You should tell people how to figure out the ball park figure of what a best offer item sells for. If you arrange your solds from high to low, eBay does that in order so if something sold for $290 and then a best offer sold next, and then a $275 item sold, you will know that the best offer was somewhere in-between those two numbers. You can get even closer if you figure in the stated shipping amount.
Awww you missed my teapot that sold😂 it was a Kathy Ireland Hibiscus absolutely stunning and went to Australia hopefully made it to Australia in one piece! I found it at a church yard sale for $30 sold for $250. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge.
pottery factories make blanks or greenware for the wholesale market devoid of decoration mail order, smaller project pieces,, u paint at home or your smaller company might get a lot of say 200 blanks for resale
I find Roseville is probably one of the harder things to find for a decent price in terms of reselling. A lot of antique dealers still have huge prices and even yard sales still want a premium for it.
I just found your channel and loved the vids I've watched - One thing I've been wanting to know is ... How do you list items that you have not boxed up yet, so you can get the shipping price. I've been selling things out of my parent's home and I want to get rid of these things pretty fast as i am also taking care of my Dad. It takes me so much time to list things - I take the pictures, then size them for Ebay - find the box they will fit in - then list it, and shelve the item.
wonderful collection of teapot sold comps. And...I think you proved...twice.....pictures don't always matter LOL One thing I've noted...if the Rae Dunn people are very serious about their collections...the Childs are 10x more than that hahahaha.

I can't box up I have almost 5000 listings. So, what I do is set the item on the scale along with box and packing materials to get an estimate

cracked??? some people have too much disposable income? is it that rare
No depending on the rarity it sells and I'm not complaining LOL
Do you think the Harker teapot did that well because it's yellow? I have only ever seen the cameoware in light blue, so maybe the yellow is rare...?
Yes very possibly.
