This brought back some great memories. My wife and I visited Harrods 2 years ago. I was amazed how good their watch area was and how friendly the staff were.
Upvoted, great show Rob! Harrod's used to be famous as being able to supply anything a buyer asked for. One day a man asked to buy an elephant. Harrods replied " Indian or African Sir?"😂😂😂
“Get both, the only solution!” I couldn’t agree more, thought process on watches that we love! 😂 Do love the Ingenieur and the Overseas ❤ Thanks for bringing us along the window shopping 😊
Liked the vid - including the mellow backing track. A Lange & Sohne are very polite and eager to show you their watches - I’m busy saving pennies to afford one currently! Patek are also very nice but you will see (if you visit Bond Street boutique) it says by appointment only on the window. Now… They let me in without an appointment and I reckon they might do the same for you Sir. That’s code for saying I believe you present yourself well. Although you will never be allowed in there with a camera. Keep up the great work 🙂 Also. Get the gold and Blue Vacheron if you want to stand out. The green is much more muted - and who’s spending £60K ‘on that watch’ Not to get noticed?!
Thanks for sharing tips! I have a connection with Patek in York and Wilmslow, so I've never tried to get in to the Bond Street store. I should try just for sport! 😂
Thanks for the video. Good thing you did not check out the AP boutique in Harrods. Totally arrogant people in there 🤡 In the Rolex store they just pretend that you are invisible. Always got good treatment at the other stores especially at the A Lange und Söhne store ❤️
Thanks for the head's up! My one time experience at the AP at Harrod's was ok. I went in once and the guy explained their business model, and I don't go in the Rolex because I go into my local dealers all the time.
Depends on the day and the people working. Maybe the mustard stains on your powder blue Old Navy hoodie alarmed them? Man wherever I go people are super nice to me so I cannot empathize. Dobermanns also like me but I never had a Pitbull shake my hand.
Great video? Harrods, my go-to store for sure when I purchase the big hitters. I still get lost, so I tend to stick to the same departments. Although more adventurous when daughter with me 😂
I think most of their Overseas models you have to "express interest," to get, but I didn't specifically ask. It wears well, especially on the rubber strap.

That's awesome! Y'all should go back again...still a cool place for watches!
@@RobtheAmericanI'll defintley go back, there's so much to see and so many watches!
Yes, it was a great show. I look forward to you going back to look at it thank you. Great show.

Thanks for the kind words! Harrods is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.

Doing these videos is fun for me...glad you enjoy them!
This Vacheron dial is stunning
100% It's a WOW.

Hey Rob, gorgeous watches again, just loved that Omega that two tone in gold and black. Love to tour Europe for watches some day.
Doing a watch tour of Europe would be a dream come true!
That Vacheron...
Yep.
IWC Ingenieur titanium vs GP Laureato Chronograph TI49?
Online, that GP Laureato Chrono looks good. It'll be interesting to see if IWC comes out with a Chrono version of the Ingenieur.
great watches ! please go to Harrods again !
Already have gone back to Harrod's for a return visit. Stay tuned!

Harrod's IS overwhelming! When I first went there, it took me 15 minutes to find the watch salon, even AFTER asking directions.
My parents bought our first Jack Russell Terrier from Harrods in the early 1970’s.
That's crazy!
The Sedna panda speedy is in the US boutiques too.
Great vid. Thks
Thank you for watching!
The omega is class
100%
Watched you in Italy ,
Hey happy 800
Thanks. We're inching up!
Is the VC overseas in pink gold blue dial already been reserved or available? How's the weight on the wrist for the full precious metal bracelet?
I think most of their Overseas models you have to "express interest," to get, but I didn't specifically ask. It wears well, especially on the rubber strap.
Rob, you passed the Rolex Boutique and the Rolex shop inside Harrod's. Did either shop have Rolexes for sale, or were they exhibition only?
Not sure. I did go in to the Rolex but only to ask them if they had a platinum 1908 that I could view. And of course, the answer was "No." 🫤
was the green overseas available to buy?
The greens were there for a special charity event. Not sure what happened with them after.
There is a grand seiko boutique a block away. Should have popped in
Grand Seiko make some great watches!
It’s since moved.
Omega Sedna is way nicer than the Rolex everose.
Agree with you 100%!
