- Here's the official film of the 2023 Cornish Lure Festival. This is an extraordinary fishing competition, where over 100 anglers gather in Cornwall to spend three days hunting for anything that swims using only lure tactics. The fish caught are both big and small - but everything counts! Follow Andy Ford on his journey as he tells the story of a simply fantastic event.

No I don’t think so. There’s no loop, just a single strand of line. It looks like it’s just a blood knot
Got to be time that a lure with two barbed trebles isn't acceptable in a catch and release tournament.

@@FordyGoesFishing But aside from my pet peeve what a wonderful video! captures the atmosphere of the event in a wonderful fashion. The enthusiasm is almost child like and please believe that in a fishing landscape where too much is taken far too seriously, this is a joy to watch.

Thanks John. I fish barbless almost exclusively and single barbless on lures wherever practical. We’re all big kids. Fishing is just an excuse to keep us in touch with that isn’t it? Glad you liked the show.
