Yes siiiir

Yes, sadly. 😔
Yeah!
DLC? I don't need NO DLC!! (Selects Blanka) And I kill you nooowwwwww!!!
We sure was, I use to wear this game out!
A girl with the name of Yoko Shimomura, who was straight out of college, composed the music for Street Fighter 2. Inspirational!!
Omg, thank you Yoko Shimomura. She deserves to be in some sort of hall of fame.
Mario RPG as well! Her music is very legendary!
I.... hate to break it to you, but Yoko Shimomura DID NOT compose this soundtrack (at least on this SNES version). The person that made this SNES conversion was Tatsuya Nishimura.
@@solarflare9078
I am now disappointed.
@@solarflare9078 Where did you get that info from? All sources I've seen states that she indeed composed the soundtrack (except Sagat's theme, VS theme, and "New challenger" theme).
I don’t understand how it’s possible to make so many bangers in a row in ONE game.
This is absolutely unbelievable…
Agreed. This is one of the best soundtracks in all of gamedom
Looking back the producers from this era gained experience in the previous ten years (basically 80s) making 8-bit bangers with limited tools. Now it's the 90s and they had more tools to make more complex music.
And we all played at the arcades and got the beats and melodies stuck in our heads without knowing why. Great times back then.
Totally agreed with you. So many hits in one unique video game. Most of them are still played in the last version of SF (SFV)
Well... What would a young girl in the late 80ies might listen to? The Top Gun Soundtrack maybe ? :D

Actually did that a couple of years ago and the moment it started playing this gem (after I blew on the cartridge a couple of times of course) I nearly started crying from nostalgia
Unfortunately this compilation doesn't include the sound effect of me throwing the controller against the bedroom wall in rage after being beaten by Bison for the twentieth time in a row.
Jeff Morgenroth hahahahaha so true!
You mean Ryu smh
So you won't be recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Kodan Armada?
Guess you weren't using Blanka nor Zangief. Their heavy kicks were quite effective vs Bison's jump attacks.

Im 52 years Old, and never forget this NEVER !!
I think we all played Guile the most. First note is Instant nostalgia
Why I am feeling sad when you said you are 52.
I’m 45 as I write this. The Sagat theme just takes me back in time to the early 90s when I rented this and played it on my SNES. What a great time to be a kid / teenager and experience this for the first time. It’s one of those ‘you had to be there at the time to understand how big this game was’ because it was everywhere. Magazines, people paying per hour to play at rental stores, it was difficult to find a copy for rental. It was crazy. Me and my friends used to create our own tournaments and spent hours and hours playing this masterpiece.
7:12 To this day, I still think this is the best version of Guile's theme.
Capcom eally did an amazing job with the soundtrack in the SNES version of this game.
It actually makes all other versions of it sound worse, its kinda incredible.

Chun Li's music brings back weird memories. When my brother and I played this on the megadrive, we had a house rule not to play as Chun Li because she was too OP. Unsurprisingly every session we played SF2 went the same way: One of us would beat the other, then the loser would break the house rule and select Chun Li... then we'd BOTH end up playing Chun Li... then my brother would start using the turbo on the controller, and I'd use the turbo on mine... THEN my brother would start attacking me in real life because the turbo on my controller was faster than the turbo on his controller (so I always won the Chun Li kick-off)... then we would finally agree that we shouldn't play Chun Li again. But the cycle would repeat.
I thought Dhalsim has always been the OP one because you could just kick the whole career through to the end. Dhalsim's legs extend so it creates a distance and opponent couldn't attack much. Just gotta watch out for fireballs.
When I listen to this, I honestly feel like I’m traveling around the world, visiting each country the fighters were from.

It's a bitter sweet joy listening to the music. Brings back certain memories of my teenage years. Especially the time of 1997 when I was 14. That was the time you could see the comet Hale-Bopp in the sky. I played this game with a friend I went to school with. We played a lot of games at that time. Zelda, Secret of Mana and the Street Fighter II series were our favorites. These games are adventurous, touching - and from a nostalgic perspective that I have now - touching in a verry personal way . At the beginning of 1998 my friend moved away and we never saw each other again. Now 23 years have past and every now and then I wonder how he did in life, where's he at right now... So every now and then I look up stuff like this video on RUclips and bathe in memories.
