This performance by the Zagreb Quartet is equal to their excellent rendition of Prokofiev's First Quartet. But, for me, the second movement of this Second Quartet moves me the deepest, and so I lean somewhat more to this quartet. But both are great music played with dedication. Bravo!

I do agree - and I think, many others would. That’s why, on LPs from Soviet times, that’s what’s presented: the 2nd movement.
