    As someone who is on the brink of purchasing a Range Rover Sport for the first time and looking to do my own maintenance, I have to say your videos are incredibly detailed and informative. I keep coming back to your channel to watch your videos and I have no idea why you only have 280 subscribers, you should be in the tens of thousands for this channel :)

      I'm glad you like my videos. That's the main reason why I make them - to make life easier for other DIYers. It would indeed be nice if the channel grew, but it makes me much happier when I just get positive feedback and find out that the videos are indeed useful through comments like yours.

    Your channel is a fantastic find. I loved the theory before getting down to the dirty business.

    Great video by the way. I have always bled Brakes a little differently. If you pump the brake pedal without Closing the bleeder between pushing the pedal down you can't eliminate air from system, in other words, with the bleeder closed you pump the brakes and after you gain pedal your helper holds the pedal down, you open the bleeder and pedal should go to the floor and without lifting his foot off the pedal you close the bleeder and repeat the process until no air is coming out. So pump, pump, pump hold pedal down, open bleeder until the pedal goes to the floor, and without lifting his foot off the pedal tighten the bleeder and repeat until no air is present.
    Making sure you follow the correct sequence, rear right, rear left, front right, and front left. Hope this makes sense...

      It makes perfect sense 😀 What you've described is just the standard 2-person method for bleeding brakes (create pressure in the system, open the bleeder, close the bleeder, release the pedal and repeat). But I prefer the one-way valve solution because it eliminates the need for the bleeder open and close steps. You just open it at the beginning, bleed as much as you need and then close it at the end. The one-way valve is not expensive, it saves on work and even allows you to bleed the brakes without another person helping you out.

      Now that makes since. I just purchased a Pressurized bleeding system that I just started using on the brake job I am completing on my 2013 RRS L320.
      Thanks!

    Hey TMB,
    I know this is off topic, but what type of windshield washer fluid do you use for Range Rover? It seems that the BWM brand concentrated fluid is ok... what do you think?

      I just use regular washer fluid that I buy from petrol stations or (as of recently) Lidl. From November to April I typically switch to winter washer fluid (good for down to -20 degrees or ideally -30 degrees Celsius). You really don't need to buy brand-named washer fluids, as they're all just a mix of glycol, water and perfume. I've been using standard washer fluid for 15+ years now and I never had a problem with it on any of the cars.

    love your vids, I have a L320 2013 sport but no T.V. screens behind the front seats, is it possible to have these fitted afterwards.

      To be honest I don't know. I have seen some aftermarket solutions, but they are pretty costly (you have to route wires through the seats and into the center console, making sure they integrate well with the infotainment screen etc.). I think it's far easier to just buy 2 tablets and hook them to the back of the headrests. The center console does have a 12V socket at the back, under the rear air ducts, where you can insert a 2 x USB charger for the tablets.

    How much litter brake fluid

    • @TheMissingBolt
      @TheMissingBolt  Год назад

      The brake fluid system's capacity is about 1.4 liters. I've used 2 liters (2 bottles of 1 liter each) to not risk running out of fluid during the bleeding.

      The ATE shoiwn in the picture runs between $14-$18 US per liter, depending on where you buy it.
