Hi, @ABtravel23. That advice is similar to our experience in Paris with the PABLO machine - no need to mail the forms. In Barcelona, the rules are not clear (whether we needed to mail the forms even for those that turned green or had check marks) so we just decided to mail them anyway. Maybe you can check thru the refund company’s website after a few days if your refund is acknowledged or is already being processed. If it’s Global Blue, there should be an email or you can use their app to track your refund. For the others, use the tracking feature in their website. You just need the refund form number. Trust that, as we advised, you took a picture of your forms before mailing. Hope this helps!😊

But I guess you can use your watch and phone, and just return them to the box for tax refund purposes. Postage for mailing the forms is prepaid by the refund company. No need for a stamp. Hi. You just need the tax forms for the DIVA machine. No need to scan your passport or boarding pass. You only need to go to the customs desk if you get a red X when you scan your form. Finally, we mailed our forms because we got mixed feedback from the customs personnel manning the tax refund area. We got all refund after around 3 weeks. Hope this helps!😊

We suggest sending them an email asking if they can credit the refund to your card. We have a pending refund from Planet Tax Free. They are claiming that they do not have our card number, so they are asking for our card information. That means we can still provide the card number so we can get our refund. Hi@@ERC_Channel . So just an update. I scanned 3-4 of the bills, and the machine kept quitting on me. I went to the Customs desk AFTER checking in my luggage and clearing security. They patiently scanned each form and gave me USD in cash. About 4-5 of the forms were not scanned, so I am assuming those were the ones that I did not run through the machines. All in all a smooth process. Thank you for this video 🙂
Hi. We haven’t tried using debit cards but our guess is no because they need to ensure that they can charge against some funds if there are issues with your refund. Maybe you can ask that the refund be credited to your debit card but they still need a credit card to guarantee it. We’ll definitely ask this on our next trip to Europe very soon. So we end up receiving around 11% on the average of the purchase price. We receive a little less in cash than when we choose card as refund method. Hope this helps! Oh that is super fast, I contacted Global blue cs and they are saying the mail may take 8 weeks to receive and 3-5 weeks to process (italy form mailed at spain airport). Finger crossed mine is fast too 🙏🏻

The shops won’t give you tax refund forms if your purchase is below the threshold amount.

And shop provided the tax free receipt without problem. and i was refund for all my purchases ;)
We never received our refund and it is going on a year August 8th.
Oh no! Which refund company is this? Maybe you can email them or use the “contact us” option in their website. We just use Google to look for their website. When you scanned your refund forms, did the screen show a green check for each form?
