Just buy an aftermarket muffler and keep the dual set up. I had a E60 535i that I did a dual exhaust conversion on and honestly I sold the car because of the Droning too. I even installed 2 resonators and they didn't help but in retrospect I should have installed an aftermarket muffler to keep it quiet. I miss that car she was a beauty.
I got the LED rings from here www.bavgruppedesign.com/products/round-6k-white-angel-eyes-bmw-e92e90e82-135i335i/ But you have to open up your headlights to install the rings. Not the easiest task but it is doable. you can also have a professional install for you.
Hello Hallen. I'm a little slow, so please forgive my nube-like inquiry,... Can the dual exhaust exist on the car without a muffler delete and with resonator in place? Or must there be a muffler delete in order to install the dual exhaust? I'm very interested in the dual exhaust for my 2011 328i xDrive.
It can only exist in the form of a muffler delete. Unless you somehow retrofit the stock muffler with another opening for second pipe but I don't think that has ever been done and there are no aftermarket exhausts with dual exit.
hey bro I have a 328xi running a stage 2 tune with headers and no cats. for exhaust I have a single exit stainless steel piping with two vibrant performance high flow resonators and it sounds really good! not much drone tbh but just a suggestion.
I have a bmw 2006 330i e90 any bumper for it? I want the same set up as yours I want the m tech number and defuser but you have a newer year and I want the rear bumper to match my car
You can retain the resonator as I show in the video, but you can't keep a muffler. So there is no way that I can see to reduce the cabin noise while having the dual setup
@@InlineSixAuto ahh I thought so! wonder if it will cost a lot in labour to replicate the 335 underbody design in order to make it compatible for the dual exit exhaust system? I really would like to do that to my 328 if the overall cost is reasonable
@@hhiijjkkaabbccdd Its possible. You would just have to remove the trunk storage bin and relocate the Evap canister. Not sure how much that would be if you wanted a shop to do it for you.
I'm at 116k miles now. And I've never had any major issues with it. There were some oil leaks but that was it. And I have a maintenance video way back when I first started my channel last year lol. But Maybe I'll do an updated video.
I could but then would I have retrofit the trunk storage bin and find a new spot to put the evap canister because it’s in the way on the passenger side.
if it is xdrive how are the coil overs? i noticed that they are much more expensive than coil overs for the rwd models, i also heard the front sits higher with xdrive and looks kinda weird
Mine is xdrive. I got a set of BC Racing coilovers for xDrive E90s. The coilovers are excellent for the price. I got them for $995 and I’ve had them on the car for almost 3 years now. And yes they do sit higher, I had a horrible wheel gap in the front before I got the coilovers.
In my notes, its about $15,000 for both Mods and maintenance over the course of my 3 year ownership of this car. Probably would be like $8k more if I didn't do most of this stuff myself.
I thought it was going to sound the same as it did when I just had the single exit with a muffler and resonator delete, since its the same setup with just a muffler and resonator delete just with two exits... it wasn't an obvious assumption to me. My bad I'm not smart and experienced like you.
Hey bro you should deffo do E90 maintenance/informational videos if your finished modding. I’m down to watch them. 👍🏼

Such a dilemma to have 2 Beemers to have to work on, wish I had that problem 😂

Add two after market mufflers back on and go exhaust cut out. That way you can switch from loud to quiet when as you wish.
@@houligizzle4753 I don't follow. What's an exhaust cut out?
In other words, can we reduce the cabin noice and vibrations with a dual exit exhaust?
Just go with the setup I have right now. Come take a ride next time when you down LA

Hey man, Car looks great, do you have a link for the front splitter, the one at the bottom that your going to replace? thanks
I don’t unfortunately, it’s unavailable. I think I got the last one lol.
Can’t you just put an after market muffler before the dual exhaust? I think there’s enough space
Don’t go back Just based on aesthetics u need the dual set up looks way better. With the single pipe looks like a budget eco cheap version of the car

you should use J pipe for the drone sound
