Not even one time in 43 years have I ever been selfish... even as a child so it's definitely not in my 🧬 to acquire the ability to be that way but at the same time I've always been taken advantage of by not acquiring at least some sort of self preservation but It goes against everything I exist for so it's DEFINITELY a spiritual dilemma 😌

He is not speaking of the "bad selfish" where you only care about yourself and no one else. He's speaking of prioritizing your well being, putting up boundaries when necessary, and making sure you take care of yourself first before you think of talking care of someone else.
