For instance, if one were to make humans look bad, they would forfeit the privilege of representing humanity, thereby rendering themselves non-human. Why is it important for individuals to consider both the negative and positive aspects of life before making decisions?
Well, if we only look at one side of life it's like looking only one way before crossing a two-way street.
Life has two sides just as a two-way street does, ignoring either side is not recommended.
Would you cross a two-way street relying on faith or looking only one way before crossing it?
If we choose to cross a two-way street without looking or looking only one-way before crossing it shows that we are willing to jeopardize not only our own life but others as well.
Making life decisions based on assumptions is considered a gamble. Sometimes we may not have time to question some decisions but most of the time we do. If we refuse to question decisions especially if we have time to do so shows that we are not interested in being the best that we can be and are willing to gamble away our life or another.

In the modern world we marginalised many elderly people and do not listen to their wisdom. This greatly diminishes our ability to embrace future developments and causes us to cycle back through lessons learnt by humanity.
Many indigenous cultures aporeciated Elder's ability to guide younger generation to tackle new development evolving with the wisdom of past generations.
Youth should be guided by the elderly with the support of the middle aged.
