  • In this video, you’ll be able to watch as Kyle, my good friend from the Mid West who runs the RUclips channel Lakehouse Lawn Care, talks us through this DIY Striper which he has made and how you can recreate one.
➡️ This is a really interesting project - it really is a case of a few nuts and bolts with some PVC pipe and calling it a day. If you watch along, there will be two demonstrations of how the striper works and a more in-depth look at how to build it in the middle of the video.
Throughout, you’ll be able to hear from Kyle about the creation of the Striper and you’ll be able to see the backdrop of Kyle’s house -before we finish out at my house in Michigan. This is definitely one of the best Stripers I have ever made and definitely one I’d encourage you to look into.
➡️ This is just one of the many videos I create on gardening techniques so be sure to watch the others.

Did mine and it works great! Thank you! I have Southern St Augustine and still laying them stripes. I am using a Ryobi electric push mower and it works just fine. Most striping kits I found online were $100+. This cost me $30. I had to get some supplies at Ace (PVC) and some at Home Depot (end caps). Home Depot will not cut the pipe for you but Ace will. Then Ace did not have the correct 3inch end caps used in the video. For me I had to remove the rubber piece on the mower for the carabiner clips to fit. I also had to use 4 clips. Took me about 15 minutes to make it once I got home. Traffic was my biggest hurdle lol.
