December 19, 2019 When I see these beautiful pictures of my beloved country the Philippines my feeling is so proud that I almost want to cry. Seeing once country progressing in terms of infrastructure developments like roads, highways, coastal boulevards with concrete esplanades planted with tropical palm trees, the cleaning of the Manila Bay it's beaches and putting some discipline to our people is what we might call progress. The Philippines that I am so very proud off is not only getting cleaner, more organized and disciplined Seeing those beautiful highways, tall buildings, sports and entertainment/ concert venues will make you proud. Entertainment venues that made the Philippines the most sought after subject on RUclips and other social media. Let us make the Philippines the most progressive country culturally, economically, politically and spiritually. I feel sad watching our local channel here in Canada that some bad apples still exist in the Philippines. I don't know all of these projects at all. But these are true. However it is not true, that by 2025 these projects will be present. Because as of now, President Duterte focuses on strengthening our military forces for defense againts possible terrorist attacks, eliminating corruption, and eliminating the presence of illegal drugs on our country as much as he can. So I can say that these projects will eventually finish at 2034 or 2036, if lucky it could finish at 2029 or 2031.

Progress is when people live peacefully with less crime, children and women are safe to walk the streets even at night, education and health care is free or cheap, people have discipline and they not only fear God but also respect the environment, no stray dogs and cats left to die in the streets, there are traffic laws and rules followed, food is afford , tourists feel safe etc...

I don't know all of these projects at all. But these are true. However it is not true, that by 2025 these projects will be present. Because as of now, President Duterte focuses on strengthening our military forces for defense againts possible terrorist attacks, eliminating corruption, and eliminating the presence of illegal drugs on our country as much as he can. So I can say that these projects will eventually finish at 2034 or 2036, if lucky it could finish at 2029 or 2031.

Having so many tall buildings sprouting here and there doesn't mean progress. Progress is when people live peacefully with less crime, children and women are safe to walk the streets even at night, education and health care is free or cheap, people have discipline and they not only fear God but also respect the environment, no stray dogs and cats left to die in the streets, there are traffic laws and rules followed, food is afford , tourists feel safe etc...
