A secret part of me held out that CA would come out with custom outfits for every season, and while I'm a little disappointed I was wrong, I REALLY hope he updates portraits and gives each season custom outfits in the future. I didn't play the game on release, but has CA given a significant portrait/sprite update since launch? I don't like relying on mods to make the game LOOK good, but DAMN sam should just wear that outfit constantly

I saw someone pointed out on the subreddit that CA tweaked Emily's portrait for 1.6 . She looks slightly older and softer now than before.
I think that's the only update aside from the winter fits.

I think the scarf looks like gru’s on seb, but the jacket is too different. Same color sure, but it looks like a “bad boy” leather jacket based on the way its shoulders are straight edged and the way it’s highlighted and shaded.

I love Evelyn’s “mother of the town” energy and this portrait just makes me love her more. By far my fav.
My Sam loving heart is on fire. Sam straight up murdered all the other bachelors with that fit. Seb and Elliot both look stylish as heck and tied for second for me. (I'm always going to picture Gru as Seb's father now.) Alex, Harvey, and Shane were: "Oh," "Oh no," and "That man doesn't love himself."
I loved all the bachelorettes' fits, though. Haley and Emily were my favorites, but I adored every single one.
The rest of the townsfolk were looking great and matched them really well. The Linus one looks like he has a lion's mane with all those leaves. He's transformed into The Lion-us King for winter. I'll see myself out now. 😅😂
