"the guy doing the voice over" is now on Fox News. true. his name is John Roberts. he was called JD Roberts back then. this was a good show out of Toronto. despite the embarrassing 'hosts', we still got to hear from the cool bands that we were loving in those great times. ps not a voice-over. he was in the room. just off camera.
He called it rock, metal and hard rock at the same time. Who cares mate an interview with Motorhead or any rock/metal band on tv would have never happened today. Its great that these bits exist and the whole world, not just America can see them. My parents could never see these things, but they loved the music...I can. Enjoy it, stop being an elitist.

I wouldnt call any Metal "simple". All forms of Metal are very technical. Punk on the other hand is simple and usually uses just 3 chords.
