You guys REALLY should have listened to this with "The Load Out". The two songs together is a complete work, you're only getting half the impact. He ended this live performance first with a very heart-felt tribute to his crew that makes the shows possible during "The Load Out", then when "Stay" begins he's turning to the audience showing them the same appreciation. He's making the point that his crew and the audience are on the same level, one just as important as the other. I would really suggest doing this video again with both songs.
Totally agree. You don't get the full ambience without The Load Out included. Maybe another reaction sometime.. Sort of like listening to Closer To Home by Grand Funk Railroad without the lead in from I'm Your Captain which unfortunately the record company did when they released it as a single on its own.
I suggested last week they should listen to "The Load Out/Stay" live last week! I'm not sure if they saw my comment & just pulled up "Stay" or what, but in my defense I did ask for both! Lol
As others have said this is the second half of his concert closer. The first half is called The Load Out and is a tribute to his crew the second half (this part) is a reworked cover of a Four Seasons classic the two songs dovetail together as one piece. Other songs, The Pretender, Doctor My Eyes, Shape of a Heart, Running On Empty, Got To Be Somebody's Baby, Tender Is The Night, Lawyers in Love just to rattle off a few of his top hits and charting singles.
I agree, The Load out and Stay must be played together. The album Running on Empty is a really cool album. The album was recorded on the road. Some songs recorded live, one song recorded on the tour bus while on the road, some songs recorded in a hotel room. Great songs and well mixed.
The Load Out/ Stay have to be reacted to together. The two songs together are meant to make such an impact. This is like coming in halfway through a movie! LOL!
This song Stay, is really part of the previous song The Load Out. You are hearing 3 different voices, Jackson Browne, Rosemary Butler and David Lindley with the falsetto
Is this really your first Jackson Browne song? I'm astonished! "Doctor, My Eyes" was his first big single, and I think it should be your next one. You can also add "Somebody's Baby", "Lawyers in Love", and "Runnin' On Empty" to your list. Mr. Browne is definitely worth diving into - he was inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame in 2004, and rightly so. FYI - This is a cover of a 1960 song originally recorded by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs. It's also been covered by The Four Seasons, The Hollies, and even Cyndi Lauper. Also - the one singing in falsetto is not Jackson. That voice belongs to David Lindley. The female voice is Rosemary Butler. Both have decades of vocal experience.
The song ‘Stay’ was written by Maurice Williams and recorded by his group Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs way back in 1960. Maurice was from Lancaster , South Carolina and he and his group were much in demand throughout both Carolinas for decades.
Yes, you should really listen to the original, so that the variations by Jackson Browne are heard in context. He did a fantastic variation on the original, but the original is great!
Wow, I knew it was by Maurice, but I didn't know he was from Lancaster. When I moved to South Carolina in 2018, I was surprised by the lack of local artists (barring the likes of James Brown, who moved north). I mean, when Darius Rucker and Edwin McCain are the names that spring to mind, it's not exactly impressive. But points for Maurice, definitely.
One of the most prolific songwriters of the 70's. Jackson Brown and the likes of Ronstadt, James Taylor, Eagles band members, Joni Mitchell, etc etc were all part of the same crowd. Brown shows his best side with songs like "Doctor My Eyes" and "Running on Empty"
also DON'T forget about Bonnie Raitt ❤️🎶 I also suggested those 2 songs, both are really GREAT! Doctor My Eyes is really catchy and has a real kind of message and Running On Empty, altho it's a faster paced song, can actually bring tears to my eyes, the lyrics are straight nostalgic & somewhat sentimental, at least for me, they seem to mean more & more every time I hear it, especially with every passing year, but it's one of my favorite songs ever! I also love the musical composition as well as I do the lyrics!
Jay & Amber, you'll love his "Runnin' On Empty", "Doctor, My Eyes" and "The Pretender"!!! Excellent singer/songwriter!! edit- you needed to do "The Load Out"/"Stay" together, as it gives "Stay" more meaning. David Lindley sings the falsetto in the second chorus (Rosemary Butler sings in the first).
"Runnin' on Empty", for sure. "Somebody's Baby", "Lawyers in Love", "Shape of a Heart", "Tender Is the Night", and "Barricades of Heaven" are other highlight songs.
I really hope you guys are paying attention to the comments right now! 😆 I mean, I love you guys, but you really dropped the ball on this one. Definitely the only time I’ve ever heard this without “The Load Out”. It ain’t right! 😂 But you didn’t know, and that’s okay. None of us would mind a bit if you were to correct this in the bed very near future with a section to both songs as they were intended to be heard. You will LOVE it!
There are three singers on this song. Jackson starts and ends the song. The female voice is one of his background singers Rosemary Butler. The high voice (where you stopped the song) is his guitarist David Lindley. And I will add my vote to everyone else that has said that the only way to hear this song is with "The Loud-Out" preceding it. "The Load-Out / Stay" is the closing track on Jackson's album "Running on Empty" which was recorded live in various locations, including live on stage, at rehearsals, in tour buses and in hotel rooms. To get the full impact of the "Stay", you have to hear it with "The Load-Out".
Singer with the super high voice is David Lindley, he’s played with Jackson Browne for years also Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton says he’s got an old soul fiddle player. he plays pedal steel guitar, lap slide guitar, fiddle, and other instruments. And the song is “The Load Out- Stay”.
The belting female voice you first heard was backup singer Rosemary Butler, and the falsetto voice after that was a male member of the band. This was recorded live at a 1977 Maryland concert
"The Pretender" is my favorite Jackson Brown song. The others are right though, y'all REALLY should hear "The Loadout/Stay" together. It makes the gratitude of a musician to both his crew and his fans so obvious.
@@gregusmc2868 The album "Running on Empty", which is the album that featured "The Load-Out / Stay", was released in 1977, which means it was likely recorded in 1975-76.
Running on Empty. Great album. You needed to do the " Load Out". It rolls right into Stay. You'll understand " Stay better. There basically one Song. MUST be played together. Please react again listening to both as one song.
Needed to listen to “The Load Out” followed by “Stay” it is a sequel to “The Load Out”! Plus it helps make more sense of the song! Whom ever suggested this song sort of led you astray!
The Load Out and Stay....together.......please! It's one of the best performances ever! There are several singers in this, men and at least one woman. You should hear the woman in the live version of the Load Out and Stay.
You finally discovered Jackson Browne! He it’s legendary! My personal favorites are “Running on Empty”, “Doctor my eyes”; “The pretender”…too many to name. 👍❤️
Doctor My Eyes is his first hit. Great song. Jackson Browne is one of the biggest artist of the seventies with a lot of great albums and still putting out music. I'll echo the comments that this tune is actually the last half of The Load Out/Stay.
Totally agree with the many comments that the song Jackson Browne performs is not "Stay" but "The Load Out/Stay". Here is his performance live at the BBC from the 70's: ruclips.net/video/scsJZ67ssDY/видео.html
That falsetto voice is the amazing David Lindley, great instrumentalist (especially pedal steel guitar). I think Jackson Browne also wrote the first hit by the Eagles, Take it Easy.
Yes David Lindley & Rosemary Bulter she has a beautiful voice. I was lucky enough to see them in concert in the 80's.I believe David still does concerts on his own.
The recording you listened to is the 2nd half of the finale at a Jackson Brown concert. You need to pull up The Load Out live and watch the whole thing. The two falsetto versions: first one was a woman, 2nd one was a guy in his band who was also playing lap slide guitar during the song. Watch the Load Out!!!!! ✌❤
Oh, sorry, points deducted for not playing the first part of this "The Loadout (roadies song)." "Stay" was a '50s hit from Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs. The high falsetto part at the end was sung by Brownes guitarist David Lindley. Jackson Browne is sometimes referred to as "The Other Eagle", as he was good friends with those guys and there were always rumors of him officially joining them, but it never happened. But, he did tour with them as a solo act a couple of times.
The first high voice is female, second is his guitarist falsetto, but it is meant to be played after "the loadout", which is the beginning of the loadout/stay. Really good live
Welcome to a HUGE new rabbit hole, you're gonna love Jackson Browne, he was good friends with the Eagles and wrote with them sometimes. The other comments explained the singers on this version but, there are several great videos of this, YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM!!! Enjoy your new journey of another 70s singer-songwriter that some of us were blessed to know when they ruled the world!
Jackson Browne has sold 18 million albums and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This is a cover of a 1960 song by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs.
I think we will all go along with you if you ever want to do The Loadout/Stay, we're down! I'm sure Running On Empty will be the most suggested. These Days, For Everyman, For A Dancer, I'm Alive, The Pretender, and on and on.
You should have listened to the whole thing. The single, "The Load-Out"/"Stay" was a huge hit from Jackson Browne's "Running On Empty" album, and was played on the radio everywhere with both songs back to back... they naturally seque from one song to the other.
Guys, you only listened to the back half of the song. It's "The Load Out / Stay" -- two songs in one (this portion is a cover of an old song). You've gotta go back and listen to the whole thing to get the meaning. And to answer your question, the first voice is Jackson, the second voice is backup singer Rosemary Butler, and the third voice is multi-instrumentalist David Lindley.
??????? Speechless. I've given the link to the full video of them actually playing it in concert over 5 times, without the first part it's just a Maurice Willams cover...... *SHRUGS*
@@w.geoffreyspaulding6588 Yeah unfortunately that's the way it is now because of Patreon, got to do what the people that pay say or they don't pay anymore.
Yep you listened essentially to the second half of a song, "Load Out/Stay." They are two separate songs on the album (for legal/monetary reasons), but they are really two parts of the same piece. There are a handful of these two-fers from the 70s. Examples: "Space Intro/Fly Like an Eagle" by Steve Miller; "Foreplay/Long Time" by Boston; "Sirius/Eye in the Sky" by Alan Parsons Project. Watch out for those sneaky devils!
Good to see that you two finally found Jackson Browne, and like everyone else has already said...you have to listen to The Load Out/Stay to really get the full effect. I ❤ Jackson Browne, and there are just too many great songs that show off his talent much more.
❤️ I enjoyed the reaction, AS ALWAYS, but I think most of us were hoping for you guys to react to this in it's entirety which is actually 2 separate songs kind of consolidated into 1, written out as "THE LOAD OUT" & "STAY" well, the first continues into the second making it 1 long song, at least the way Jackson Browne recorded it & usually sang it live anyway (but it's still 2 different songs) ... Dang, it seems really confusing trying to type it out here!😜 🎶"The Load Out" / "Stay" the( LIVE BBC 1978) video is probably the best, actually I believe this recording was taken from that concert, but we know you guys like to also watch the artists perform as we all do. Honestly, I think it's way better if you do watch the video performance for this one. The song "Stay" alone isn't the best for a first time introduction to Jackson Browne, in my opinion. I strongly suggest "Doctor My Eyes" , "The Pretender" & one of my fave songs EVER "Running on Empty". Jackson Browne is another great songwriter, but this one is a cover song, it was originally written/ released around the start of the 60s by a group called The Zodiacs, a lot of others have covered it too, I think Buddy Holly & The Crickets had a version also. I really hope you guys still check it out as "The Load Out" and "Stay" (LIVE BBC 1978)". BTW, JACKSON BROWNE is the lead singer's real name but it also refers to the band as a whole, so the band is also known as JACKSON BROWNE. 😀 PLEASE also Check out: "THE LOAD OUT" (with or without the song "STAY") it's a great song either way! "RUNNING ON EMPTY" "DOCTOR MY EYES" ☮️KEEP MAKING US ALL SMILE & SPREADING THE LOVE & POSITIVITY !!!!!!☮️
Doctor my eyes is probably his biggest song but my favorite song is “The load out” A tribute to all the roadies that help set up and tear down the show Love your channel
Redo - Load Out / Stay live. Also from Jackson Browne "Doctor My Eyes." & " Running on Empty" -- BTW way back in the beginning of his career, Glenn Frey lived in an apartment above Jackson Browne and he could hear Jackson working out a song on the piano. He credits that for teaching him how to work out a song. Also the Eagles song "Take it Easy" was a Jackson Browne song but Jackson got stuck on the lyrics. Glenn took the song and finished it beginning with the lyrics - "It's a girl My Lord in a flat bed ford".
The falsetto singing heard at the end of the song is provided by Browne’s long-time guitarist, David Lindley. If you see the live you'll see he's clearly having a lark, but he's really singing it!
you had to hear the whole song its two songs that run together the first is called the loadout then stay they just go together like a story it was allways the last song at his concert or his encore
The BBC 1978 performance of Load Out and Stay is absolutely worth doing. You'll see and hear the amazing David Lindsey playing and singing his falsetto, topping even Rosemary Butler. And that ain't easy. Welcome to Jackson Browne. The Pretender, Fountain of Sorrow or After the Deluge would all be great places to go after this.
Yeah you need to listen to the Load Out/Stay, I remember the first time I heard this was the year I graduated from High School, I love these tunes and that you kids are getting into this great music.
Listening to Stay without The Load Out seems kind of pointless to me. Yes, it a good sing , but so much more meaningful with the Loadout. You will be incredibly amazed. Listen to it tonight!!!!
The two different high pitched voices are Rosiemary Butler,I believe she has a three octave range. The second voice is Jackson s long time friend David lindley he is a master guitar player ,slide guitar, and violin This is the second half of the melody, the load out / stay From the running on empty album. You should listen to the title track Running on empty. Other great Jackson Browne songs are The pretender Jamaica say you will Linda Paloma Somebody s baby Here come those tears again. So many great Jackson Browne songs. Too many to list
You got to watch both load out and stay live at concert to understand what is going on that's the only way to watch these two songs one of the best ways to end a concert I've ever seen
I think Jackson Brown is in the song writing hall of fame. Somebody's Baby is excellent. It was in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which you could check out on your movie channel.
Why would this be your first Jackson Browne song? One of the best, if not the best singer/songwriter, definitely try and listen to some more as soon as possible.
Love Jackson Browne, he was my 1st concert back in 1978. And Just saw him in concert last month..still sounds great Suggest checking out: Doctor my eyes, Running on Empty, The Pretender, The Load Out, Somebody's Baby, These Days
This song was at the end of a live show and the band was all getting a part to shine including the back-up singers and other musicians. It starts with a song "The Load Out" which is about packing everything up and moving the show to the next city then it goes into Stay which is the band pleading with the audience to stay for another song.
My favorite song writer. I'm so glad you have found him. Try "Dr My Eyes" or "The Pretender" or "That Girl Could Sing". I'll stop there, but there are a dozen more. Jackson is a writer on the Eagles "Take It Easy".
Total agreement - you totally missed out. The Load Out and Stay are almost always played together as if they were parts of the same track. If you would have gone for The Load Out first, almost all of the videos on RUclips for that rolls right into Stay.
You’ve only played half the song this is a live cut the first half is called “the load out” and it’s about being out of concert and wanting to continue to play and the second half of the song is “stay” You gotta play them both in order to get the full effect it’s a killer tune he was singing stay to the audience
The Load-Out/Stay,” Jackson Browne's song about life on the road, is memorable for incorporating lyrics from “Stay,” the '50s hit from Maurice Williams & the Zodiacs. The falsetto singing heard at the end of the song is provided by Browne's long-time guitarist, David Lindley
Jackson Browne is awesome! The female voice is Rosemary Butler & she can bring it. The falsetto you heard is David Lindley who is fantastic. You should really play the live version starting with The load out / Stay. It’s absolutely fantastic! Doctor my eyes, The pretender.
You guys need to do a redo . You are supposed to have done the Load Out before Stay it’s a part of the complete performance. Stay was originally done by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs in 1960. Jackson Browne took it and made it a part of his The Load Out/Stay. This reaction is Incomplete with out it. I can think of a few more songs that you need to rereact to also, Garth Brooks the Dance, George Jones He Stopped Loving Her Today
Speaking about Linda Ronstadt, she does a fantastic version of Jackson Browne's song For a Dancer (with Emmylou Harris) - her, Jackson and the Eagles all started out around the same time in Southern California (I'm sure there were others but they are the ones that spring to mind). I'll have to look up Rosemary Butler because her voice is perfect in this song and I don't know anything about her - thanks for mentioning her name.
Yes. A good version is Loadout and Stay. A great live performance. No it is one of his male crew having a joke. This is really only part of the video. FYI you might want to watch it on your own. Its well worth it. ruclips.net/video/scsJZ67ssDY/видео.html
FINALLY! Jackson Browne. One of the best. Love his voice and his songwriting!!!WOW, love it. As has been repeated ad-nausium... "The Load Out" and "Stay" need to be played together. You wont understand until you hear it. "Somebody's Baby" is also fabulous, and in the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" I encourage you to take the time to check out more of Jackson Browne.
"Doctor, My Eyes", "Rock Me on the Water", Somebodies Baby”. Co-wrote “Take It Easy” with Glen Frey one of the Eagles greatest. Since he also had a short stint with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band check out “Buy For Me The Rain”
where's the rest of it?!? (THE LOAD OUT) 🙄 it's OK still ❤️ you!! 👍😃👍I think this is the first time I've ever heard it like this. You guys don't know what you're missing! BTW ❤️❤️❤️JACKSON BROWNE!!! you've got a lot more to go with him!!
And no that isn’t Jackson Browne. It is Rosemary Butler with the high voice. This was released in 1977, and the combo song of The Load Out/Stay hit number 20 on billboard chart
Like others have said, the high voice is David Lindley, who played with Jackson Browne for many years. Check out his song "Mercury blues" you won't be able to hold still.
This is from one of the best Live albums ever released. And whoever suggested this song did a great disservice to you and to Browne by not telling you to do this with Load Out.. This part of it..Stay… is actually a cover of an older song that we all recognized at that time…and yeah…probably a prom song.
You guys REALLY should have listened to this with "The Load Out". The two songs together is a complete work, you're only getting half the impact. This
Deranged is the word for sure
to do this song justice, you need to play it with the previous song The Loadout followed by Stay. those songs were meant to go together.
absolute facts
Absolutely they tie in together very well.
Yep , not a great quality video but this really should be checked out ruclips.net/video/scsJZ67ssDY/видео.html

Correct.
Jackson Browne is a National Treasure has so many Hits you just can't go wrong with his music.
Yes, that's the video I'm thinking of, great song for the roadies!
Rosemary Butler is not singing in falsetto.
Oh, sorry, points deducted for not playing the first part of this "The Loadout (roadies song)."
"Stay" was a '50s hit from Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs.
His "Running on Empty"is one of his best.
Jackson Browne has sold 18 million albums and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This is a cover of a 1960 song by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs.
Yep.. you guys need to redo this one .. with The Load-Out first.... they are meant to be together. Great Music ...
I think we will all go along with you if you ever want to do The Loadout/Stay, we're down! I'm sure Running On Empty will be the most suggested. These Days, For Everyman, For A Dancer, I'm Alive, The Pretender, and on and on.
Yep, you needed to do The Load Out/Stay together. It's a two part song and the second half alone is just an average remake of an old song.
You should have listened to the whole thing. The single, "The Load-Out"/"Stay" was a huge hit from Jackson Browne's "Running On Empty" album, and was played on the radio everywhere with both songs back to back... they naturally seque from one song to the other.
This is a live version & I highly recommend y'all watch it, this whole 2 part song. You can also see who is singing what. 😉🥰🥰
PS, watch the video. You will see David sing it and he is one of a kind. Again, great guitarist!
Stay is the second part to the The Load Out
Guys, you only listened to the back half of the song.
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention, it was recorded live at my local concert venue, Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD.
How were they even able to pull this up without Load Out? I mean, most people don’t make videos that occur halfway through a song.
??????? Speechless. I've given the link to the full video of them actually playing it in concert over 5 times, without the first part it's just a Maurice Willams cover...... *SHRUGS*
I don’t think they read the comments actually……too many. They must take their lead from patrons or other platforms. They got bad advice here.
“Running on Empty” is perhaps the song he is best known for.
Good to see that you two finally found Jackson Browne, and like everyone else has already said...you have to listen to The Load Out/Stay to really get the full effect.
I ❤ Jackson Browne, and there are just too many great songs that show off his talent much more.
Oh no! You can’t listen to Stay without the Loadout. Oh my beloved children, you’re going to have to do a Sheldon Cooper/Soft Kitty and start over.
Dang, it seems really confusing trying to type it out here!😜
🎶"The Load Out" / "Stay" the( LIVE BBC 1978) video is probably the best, actually I believe this recording was taken from that concert, but we know you guys like to also watch the artists perform as we all do.
PLEASE also Check out:
"THE LOAD OUT" (with or without the song "STAY") it's a great song either way!
"RUNNING ON EMPTY"
"DOCTOR MY EYES"
☮️KEEP MAKING US ALL SMILE & SPREADING THE LOVE & POSITIVITY !!!!!!☮️
I agree with the comments you have to hear "load out/ Stay" played together. "That Girl Could Sing" is a song I could listen to everyday.
As others have noted, this is the second part of a two part song. "Stay" is a cover of a Sixties song (1960, by Maurice Williams).
Doctor my eyes is probably his biggest song but my favorite song is “The load out”
A tribute to all the roadies that help set up and tear down the show
Love your channel
What kills me is when he goes all low right after that🤣
you had to hear the whole song its two songs that run together the first is called the loadout then stay they just go together like a story it was allways the last song at his concert or his encore
Jackson Browne is one of the best . Please go down this road again. Classic 70's music.
PLEASE LOL THE 70s were and AND will be the BEEEEEEEEEST EVER
The BBC 1978 performance of Load Out and Stay is absolutely worth doing. You'll see and hear the amazing David Lindsey playing and singing his falsetto, topping even Rosemary Butler. And that ain't easy. Welcome to Jackson Browne. The Pretender, Fountain of Sorrow or After the Deluge would all be great places to go after this.
Yeah you need to listen to the Load Out/Stay, I remember the first time I heard this was the year I graduated from High School, I love these tunes and that you kids are getting into this great music.
Y’all broke a monster Jackson Browne rule,, you gotta listen to the load out and stay together as one song
Listening to Stay without The Load Out seems kind of pointless to me. Yes, it a good sing , but so much more meaningful with the Loadout. You will be incredibly amazed. Listen to it tonight!!!!
You guys missed out only hearing the second half of an extraordinary piece. It's actually "The Load Out/Stay"
The two different high pitched voices are Rosiemary Butler,I believe she has a three octave range.
The second voice is Jackson s long time friend David lindley he is a master guitar player ,slide guitar, and violin
This is the second half of the melody, the load out / stay
From the running on empty album.
You should listen to the title track
Running on empty.
Other great Jackson Browne songs are
The pretender
Jamaica say you will
Linda Paloma
Somebody s baby
Here come those tears again.
So many great Jackson Browne songs.
Too many to list
You got to watch both load out and stay live at concert to understand what is going on that's the only way to watch these two songs one of the best ways to end a concert I've ever seen
“The Load out” belongs with “stay”. It’s just the way I’ve always heard it.
Aw man!! I just knew it would be The Load Out/Stay. You would’ve loved it!!! Omygosh!!! You HAVE to dive down the rabbit hole!
I think Jackson Brown is in the song writing hall of fame. Somebody's Baby is excellent. It was in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which you could check out on your movie channel.
The entire Late For The Sky album is a real treat. The title song is beyond beautiful!
I was in ninth grade when Fast Times came out , love the movie and love Somebodys Baby.
Why would this be your first Jackson Browne song? One of the best, if not the best singer/songwriter, definitely try and listen to some more as soon as possible.
Love Jackson Browne, he was my 1st concert back in 1978. And Just saw him in concert last month..still sounds great
Suggest checking out: Doctor my eyes, Running on Empty, The Pretender, The Load Out, Somebody's Baby, These Days
You need to do "The Load Out/Stay" to get the full meaning and effect.
“Almost” always?
I’ve never heard one without the other, this comes off as just a cover without the context from “The Load Out” leading in.
Nooooooooo! You have to do the whole thing: The Load Out / Stay
You need to listen to Load out followed by stay played at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia MD. The two go together like peas and carrots.
You need to re-react to this song with Load Out being played before it
This is half the song, check out "LOAD OUT-STAY" Sorry but couldn't finish this version. still love you guys.
There's actually another song that Jackson does that transitions into this song, Stay.
Load out and stay go together ❤️ you both are great love watching you ❤️
Her name is Rosemary Butler. She sang with The Doobie Brothers, Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt.
This one is a 2 fer 1: Must listen to "The Load Out" followed by "Stay." The falsetto is David LIndley who also does lap steel guitar.
The live version of The Load Out/Stay is the best one and would of answered all of your questions
Aww damn, you came in halfway through the jam
"Doctor, My Eyes", "Rock Me on the Water", Somebodies Baby”. Co-wrote “Take It Easy” with Glen Frey one of the Eagles greatest. Since he also had a short stint with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band check out “Buy For Me The Rain”
You need to watch the concert video of them doing "the loadout/stay" that is the way it was on the album.
You’ve got the wrong version. You need Load Out/Stay. You have the wrong version
Thanks for doing Jackson Brown. This song makes more sense with “The Loud Out”, but it’s great to hear on its own.
where's the rest of it?!? (THE LOAD OUT) 🙄 it's OK still ❤️ you!! 👍😃👍I think this is the first time I've ever heard it like this. You guys don't know what you're missing! BTW ❤️❤️❤️JACKSON BROWNE!!! you've got a lot more to go with him!!
You need to do "the load out/stay"they are really supposed to be together
Listening to Stay without The Loadout is like cutting Band on the Run and only listening to the last part. You really should redo this one.
My all time favorite Jackson Brown song is Fountain of Sorrow. The images, the feelings, I carry that song with me always.
This is from one of the best Live albums ever released. And whoever suggested this song did a great disservice to you and to Browne by not telling you to do this with Load Out..
This part of it..Stay… is actually a cover of an older song that we all recognized at that time…and yeah…probably a prom song.
