I LOVE that this is now a thing but a part of me is disappointed we didn't get it in hardcover. There's just something classy about having hardcover books.
Now we wait for the Superman Adventures Omnibus.
No way in hell it’s gonna be a single book. It’s the longest running series in the entire dcau comic lineup coming in at 66 issues not including annuals. It’s absolutely gonna be two hefty books and honestly, they’re the ones i’m most looking forward to buying considering I still have a very well kept copy of supergirl adventures from that line. I always watned to read the batgirl team up but could never find the issue, especially at a reasonable price back when I started collecting years ago. So I’’m excited :D
@@megasxlr22Hopefully now Batman & Robin Adventures Omnibus has been announced a couple of Superman Adventures omnibuses will follow
@@Jag2045 batman and robin was announced a few weeks ago. I’m expecting superman to be announced before that releases
@@megasxlr22 Yeah I know, I meant now that's been announced hopefully Superman Adventures will be announced next
Teen Titans GO!(2004) run owl be my hope.
Loved the comic in which Terry meets Etrigan. Considering Jason Blood's status as an immortal man, it surprises me he didn't appear in the show
You're in luck, there are two issues with Etrigan the Demon in this collection.
I still wonder why Etrigan rhymes in the second appearance in issue 14 though.
Every Batman Beyond fan should buy this book and the Blu-ray collection - send WB and DC a message that we want more BB.
Your desk looks fine. Not messy at all.
it certainly looks unclean. In regular lighting you can't really see the water stain :/
Beats my cluttered desks for work and books not fitting the bookcases.
I had no idea this was a thing! Batman Beyond was one of my favorite shows growing up, I'm so excited to order this at my Barnes and Noble
As long as this volume doesn't have the pregnant Barbara issue, I will gladly buy it 😊
Don't worry, IT DOES NOT. These are the only Batman Beyond comics that are canon to the DCAU in my eyes.
A pregnant Barbara? What? LOL What comic is that happening on?
@@teflonrobgIt was shown in a digital comic that DC published back on the New 52 days. Batman Beyond 2.0 #28, not sure about it so google it.
It was some of the creepiest and cringest thing on earth. Bruce Timm has serious issues with it.

@@teflonrobg Batman Beyond 2.0 issue 28.
thanks for bring this to my attention anything to get old tie in comics back into the hands of readers is win in my book
It's strange how little they mention the lingering, potentially lifelong effects of Scarecrow's fear toxin in Batman media. That Batman Beyond Barbara relapse story got me thinking about that.
At least the comics compensate, so better to have side material that compensates your hunger for the concept rather than none at all.
I preordered this as soon as I could, can't wait for it to arrive in the mail
Great review of the book. I was wondering what it was going to look like. I'm a fan of the series and I'm definitely getting this book. You're right about the new Batman Beyond comic series. Not good at all. I read the first two and that was it for me. They need to bring back Terry, Bruce and Ace. Once again, good job on the video and I'm a follower now. Cheers from San Francisco.
Glad you enjoyed it, and welcome aboard.
The fact that they didn't include the "Return of the Joker" adaptation is baffling... I mean... WHY?! The TAS and Adventures of Batman & Robin omnibuses include "Mask of the Phantasm" and "Sub-Zero". Not to mention that the ROTJ comic is pricey on the secondary market too (only movie adaptation I couldn't import back in the day :( ). Still, happy that the second series is FINALLY getting a reprint.
Agreed, considering they remembered to include Superman Adventures 64 if they had only included ROTJ we would have the whole DCAU era Batman Beyond in one collection!
I really appreciate Etrigan being there, he was heavily involved in DCAU episodes so good that I'm almost willing to forgive him for his role in the fall of Camelot..almost
Granted, that debacle was Jason Blood's fault, not Etrigan's.
I’ve never read any of these comics I’ve only seen the show definitely will have to look into possibly getting this
Might start my collection with this bad boy ❤
Can't wait for my copy to arrive! (Even with the missing Return of the Joker adaption!)
Def need to check out Batman beyond 2.0. I liked it and it connects with DCAU.
I had a few issues with those comics. I really didn’t like the Jake Chill stuff (and preferred never learning what happened with Nightwing!)
@@SerumLakeI agree, although I did love the confrontation of Bruce and Andrea.
I actually liked Nightwing become an eyepatched grizzled veteran though, complete with him still having... problems against Bruce to the point that he just silently left after Bruce invited back in Wayne Manor. Depressing, sure, but with the right kind of grim and gritty.
Super bummed there is no Return of The Joker adaptation
Just watching this after FINALLY reading up on the 30 Batman Beyond issues and even the RotJ comic adaptation with the sweet deleted scene of a dilapidated Arkham Asylum restored (shame it isn't in this omnibus, I suppose). Haven't read Superman Adventures 64 yet though.
Edit: Just so one's clear, though, Volume I's sixth and final issue and Volume II's second issue can't fit in established animated canon, while it's up to you if issues 3, 4, and 18 can fit in because they take liberties with certain characters and occasionally their fates.
Oh don't worry, it's on my wishlist. DC can take my money as soon as they let me!
Sold!
Sorry wallet but I'm getting this I need this
Why didn't they make this a hardcover bruh???
Looks incredible 🦇
Way there anything the writer say what they would’ve done with babydoll and lock up?
Very nice 👍
How do you have this???
Interesting
HAND REVEAL!
Is this all complete all in one ?
It is just missing the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker film comic book adaptation special which I don't know why DC chose not to include it in this compendium but the initial Batman Beyond 6 issue limited series and the first ongoing series based on the DCAU comprise the contents of this book.
