Tell your government to stop illegally dumping waste on developing countries and refusing to clean it up while wagging your finger at us for not being green enough.
Thank you for this. In the UK we are just hearing about the leadership race to elect our new prime minister in the media. The events in Sri Lanka and predicted food problems are barely heard about. So few people know, but then people tend to switch off from the news here as our journalism is of such poor quality.
MSM is not poor quality , it's bought and sold for by those in control and broadcast to the dumb , blind and deaf public whom believe what ever is shown to them through their screens unconditionally .
I'm from the US and am grateful for your coverage. People in the US want to know what is going on in other countries and hear their opinions. Instead our media is driven by owners with their own agendas that have very little to do with good reporting and alot to do with personal/political beliefs.
Glad to hear, when I first came to the US my honors adviser told me that Americans are not interested in other cultures. Then I looked at the news and no wonder. If I were American even I would not want to go anywhere else thinking it would be too dangerous based on the news that is consumed.

It gets tedious fact checking every news channel. As of now UP's debt to gspd is almost identical to west bengal. But they very conveniently only point out non- Bhi jay pee states. They do it in developed countries too. It’s not possible to live life in places that are wealthy. A home or a job are impossible dreams. Yet the wealthy revolt when anything threatens their precious money.
Debt is fine but only if you have an asset to back it. Problem with third world countries is that they have no liquid assets. Countries in the West can print money which is accepted by producers. For example - the dollar, pound, euro. No one will accept the Sri Lankan rupee if their Central Bank just prints it.
@Grim FPV every other currency in the world is doing worse than the Dollar. Look at the DXY. Every country has to print more than the US. When we shut down the economy, printed to infinity, then stopped printing, we said, balls in your court. Your turn. And just laugh all the way to the IMF...
I totally agree with you.. I am living in a village and here No one is concerned about recession or economic crisis because people here have no housing loan, No car loan, produce their own food, etc. Whatever they buy is in Cash.. Global dependency is least.
Exactly! Some people talk about helping these countries...by throwing them a bone. But when they catch that bone things change and now those helping them want to surpress them.

I was in Mexico in May 1986 when the oil crash caused hyperinflation. Shopkeepers had 2 prices, a morning price & evening price, that's how fast prices were going up. The Ten Principles of the Georgia Guidestones, America's Strangest Monument Are you familiar with the Georgia Guidestones? When someone first mentioned it to me I thought it both interesting and strange. Located 90 miles East of Atlanta, the monument consists of a set of 10 guidelines inscribed on a stone manmade structure in eight modern languages. At the top there's also a short message inscribed in four ancient language scripts. Some people are calling it an "American Stonehenge." The slabs and capstone stand just over 19 feet tall. The creators of this monument have chosen to remain anonymous and the man who conveyed the instructions to the Eberton Granite Finishing Company 19 miles away used a pseudonym. Obviously it cost a pretty penny to produce and install. Purportedly the group behind this had spent twenty years in planning. The inscriptions are in the following languages: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, and Russian. The ten commandments inscribed there are as follows: 1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature. 2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity. 3. Unite humanity with a living new language. 4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason. 5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts. 6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court. 7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials. 8. Balance personal rights with social duties. 9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite. 10. Be not a cancer on the Earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature. A lot of it sounds "nice" but one gets a little concerned about the first two, the first especially. I'm curious how they propose to reduce the earth's population by seven billion in order to fulfill their concept of balance with nature. Does the second statement refer to a return to eugenicists helping create a more perfect race? Is it Brave New World inspired, as if Huxley's book were a manual, instead of a red flag? Heres what WIRED wrote about the Guidestones: The Georgia Guidestones may be the most enigmatic monument in the US: huge slabs of granite, inscribed with directions for rebuilding civilization after the apocalypse. Only one man knows who created them-and he's not talking. The strangest monument in America looms over a barren knoll in northeastern Georgia. Five massive slabs of polished granite rise out of the earth in a star pattern. The rocks are each 16 feet tall, with four of them weighing more than 20 tons apiece. Together they support a 25,000-pound capstone. Approaching the edifice, it's hard not to think immediately of England's Stonehenge or possibly the ominous monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Built in 1980, these pale gray rocks are quietly awaiting the end of the world as we know it. You can find the rest of that story HERE.

There has never been a shortage of money in the World or in any country. Self sustainability is the answer. Sri Lanka has every natural resource for it to be self sustainable but the politicians and their business friends do not want the country to produce enough because when importing things from another country they can earn money through commissions and corruption. Sri Lanka has the natural resources and workforce for it to produce enough foods, vehicles, medicines, petrol and diesel, and electricity. Government do not want the country to be self sufficient because the correct politicians will miss out on import Commissions. Most of politicians families live abroad in developed countries and only the poor innocent civilian suffer.
Sometimes what isn't reported shows what the regime is most fearful of. The reality is most businessmen and politicians in India have had their family's wealth all shifted out of India/rupees and begun to shift to the US This is the reason why the rupee is declining and the US dollar is gaining. When the common people find out, it's too late - the rupee would collapse by then
Btw sri Lanka do not have petroleum as it's major contributor to economy. Sri Lanka has natural resources which was supporting it's tourism sector. Natural resources which can generate power is the main reason Sri Lanka and most developing nations would collapse.

Didn't Mauritius lived beyond its means for decades? A welfare state funded through debts. Seems like another Sri Lanka on its way, ironically both found in the same ocean.
Those are temporal solutions!!! You forgot to mention the real solution: that is massive production of foods from Agriculture!! If nations prioritize this, food would be abundant and there will be no hunger!! Even if all people have the money, if food is rationed or worst it’s scare, their money is useless!!!
Food is a perishable item. Massive production would mean massive cost input too. More than required production would lead to low selling price destroying the small farmers. World doesn't need more production of food, rather we need the unnecessary war to end. West is crazy. These bastards are destroying the world. India was the hope for billions as India have a lot of excess wheat stocks. However, a sudden heat wave has rung the alarm bells and India have stopped exporting wheat. This has created serious food and fuel shortages around the world, driving inflation up. NATO should be disbanded. They are the biggest threat to the stability of the world.
The problem is our whole financial and banking system: i. Our debt based system of money creation via the Central Bank - Government nexus. ii. Fractional reserve lending - which further devalues every paper money. iii. Unproductive welfare schemes that politicians create out of thin air by the above two - either borrow more money or create more schemes via reserve lending.
Best comments so far from this platform. Especially the welfare schemes. In Australia here nearly everyone are receiving welfare. And these systems is responsible for high taxes with high cost of living here in Australia for the few who are working 👌👍💯

Debt is not a bug, it's a feature used by the wealthy to increase their wealth and influence developing countries.
The Ten Principles of the Georgia Guidestones, America's Strangest Monument
Are you familiar with the Georgia Guidestones?
The inscriptions are in the following languages:
English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, and Russian.
The ten commandments inscribed there are as follows:
Heres what WIRED wrote about the Guidestones:
The Georgia Guidestones may be the most enigmatic monument in the US: huge slabs of granite, inscribed with directions for rebuilding civilization after the apocalypse.

Same for India also
Same for most of the developing countries.
Sometimes what isn't reported shows what the regime is most fearful of.
The reality is most businessmen and politicians in India have had their family's wealth all shifted out of India/rupees and begun to shift to the US
This is the reason why the rupee is declining and the US dollar is gaining.

I suggest that any viable solution to the current crisis must also address the shortfall in real food production, and such solutions need to begin implementation immediately.

The problem is our whole financial and banking system:
i. Our debt based system of money creation via the Central Bank - Government nexus.
ii. Fractional reserve lending - which further devalues every paper money.
iii. Unproductive welfare schemes that politicians create out of thin air by the above two - either borrow more money or create more schemes via reserve lending.

Thanks guys. This news presenter has quickly become my favorite. I believe that what we are witnessing is the death throes of globalism. It's absurd for a country to move their manufacturing base to another country like we have in America. These types of crises will keep happening continuously until people go back to taking care of themselves. In Alabama, we are not seeing food shortages yet, but alot of people are stocking food in preparation. We are having problems finding canning jars for food preservation , and that's a problem for some of us.
Citizens in the US will not face economic hardships. The US has a surplus of oil as well as food. The US dollar is still the preeminent global currency. Yes, products and produce imported from elsewhere might be in short supply due to supply chain issues or problems at the source.
@@jarjarbinks3193 problem is Biden is depleting our oil reserves (more than half now) giving to Europe. He’s depleting our military equip reserves giving to Ukraine.
