- During the 2021 Lamborghini World Finals at Misano World Circuit, in Italy, Lamborghini reserved a few sessions of the weekend for the new track-only hypercar developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse: the Essenza SCV12. A total of 9 cars were in Misano but only 4 of them hit the track (3 black ones and Lamborghini's development mule, still fitted with the orange camo wrap used to hide the major details of the car for testing before the official presentation happened in 2020).
The Essenza SCV12 is the result of the combined work of Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Lamborghini Centro Stile. It's powered by the production 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine able to produce up to 830 hp and linked to a X-trac sequential 6-speed gearbox that unloads the power to the rear wheels. The aerodynamic package comes from Squadra Corse's experience with the Huracan Super Trofeo and GT3 cars. The bodywork is formed by only three elements to enable quick replacement when necessary during pit stops. The chassis of the SCV12 is a new-generation carbon fiber monocoque without internal rollcage, making it the first GT car developed to respect FIA prototype safety rules. A total of 40 cars will be built and, as it happens with XX cars for Ferrari or P1 and Senna GTRs for Mclaren, customers will be able to drive them from 2021 in “arrive and drive” events held at FIA Grade 1 homologated circuits.

Bozzy, I just wanted to say I appreciate that you include pit entries and other low-speed action in your videos. Great engines have a lot more character than just what they sound like at 12,000 rpms and I often find I enjoy the part-throttle sounds and engine-braking decelerations as much as the max effort flybys.
This right here. Oh, and no obnoxious music or voiceover. I was watching a car show that spent the entire episode hyping up the sound of the exhaust they were installing only to play loud, shitty generic rock music over it.
While the host talked about how good it sounded.

@@spamcan9208 Seriously! It blows me away how many of those shows do this exact thing. A whopping 4 seconds of actual exhaust sound, recorded with a toy microphone on a windy day, smothered by imitation nu metal (or blues). What is the point??

There was a Demo Race a few months ago with a few of these, a Zonda Revolucion, Senna GTRs and FXXK EVOs and honestly, the SCV12 stole the show, it was absolutely insane. I wish I would've seen it live.

I love the way the car is set up.It has to be driven at maximum torque towards maximum redline regardless of speed so it can be driven smoothly, very similar to a f1 car

Amazing video! A 830PS NA V12 race car Lamborghini is literally the coolest car anyone could buy. Apart from the engine the coolest part is the FIA regulation crash structure, so the owners are actually safe while driving these.

I'm not a huge fan of but a few Lambos, but this is my favorite so far with the Sesto Elemento in a close second. This flying door stop sounds magnificent, but I can tell it's a handful. It's a skate at high speeds but a rubbery lump until you get the aero up. Adapting to this car must be one hell of a challenge....and a lot of fun collecting 2G in the corners.
I was lucky enough to see one of these in the Lamborghini dealership in Montreal, it was yellow and it was awesome. There was also a Lamborghini veneno beside it
