You may be an ENTP if you always scroll through the comments for enough stimulation, get lost in one and then being mad that you didn't pay attention to the video 😂
You may be an ENTP if you find yourself being more content alone, reflecting on yourself, BUT when you are in the mood to be social, you have no problem not only fitting in easily, but also being a group leader.
You may be an ENTP/INTP if you... Open your browser to look up ONE thing and end up with 80 tabs in a few hours. It's pretty much an extension of the book habit.
hahaha and endup "bookmarking all tabs" to get back at it later but never go back at it yet do the same thing on another subject, this is hilarious i discovered that mbti thing yesterday and i am amaze to see there is other people like me
/ / this occurs in entp's because the people that have acquired the knowledge of computers as a hobby or a thought in their mind then they want to have the fastest running computer so the accomplish tasks faster... wow as I just typed all this I realized how much the entourage just took over my explanation 😂😂😂
Planning arguments in the shower. Dude you're killing me! So relatable. You also know you are an ENTP if you break rules just to prove that there is a better way to do things...or just because you hate rules.
Oh my God! Last night I was just going over parts of my past and they had so much of someone saying to me "You can't do that." and me asking "Can't?" like I never heard of the word, usually about something I had already done anyway but sometimes about something I was not even planning to do until they said I can't. Or, "You will not.." or "Don't you dare." I'm not going to go into details, but, yeah .. my life is littered with breaking rules, often in a way that left people unsure of how to even deal with it, so mostly they would just start asking me not to. Like, looking ahead on their day and considering where it might intersect with mine and asking me not to do things they'd seen me do in the past or that they surmised might be the sort of thing I would do this time around. I was often rewarded by strangers for not doing things they hoped I wouldn't, which I had no plan to do. Though, to be fair, in some cases the only reason I didn't do them is that someone aske me nicely not to which made me notice when I wanted to.
Lol, you always need to listen to what an entp actually says, not what you think they said. There's always going to be a lot of convoluted word smithing and if you don't pay attention, you may think we said something that we purposely tried not to say, but in an overly complicated and maze like sentence structure. Even though it may be overly complicated to you, we phrased it exactly the way we wanted it and if you try to paraphrase our argument or simplify it we will correct you probably word for word.
Dnt we have feelings or we dnt know how to deal with it? I believe that is really tiring thing to deal with it. And yes: Im MENTAL. lol. But a happy n fun mental. ;)
Totally agree I like to argue with people even if their opinion is against me But when someone comes up with some basic shit or meaningless words it winds me up
You might be an ENTP if you were reading a book, suddenly realized it would be good to top off your "to read" list so you googled Bill Gates' reading list, started adding his list to your list, four books in you remembered what Bill Gates said about artificial intelligence and think how you should post that on Facebook, so you googled it, ??? , two hours later you are watching a youtube video about robot caretakers when you realize you got off track, you nod at your ENTP - ness and then compulsively google ENTP memes which eventually leads to this video. It is now Wednesday and you have a meeting to lead in 5 minutes which you are not prepared for. You watch one last video.
It took me 4 times the length of the video is to get through it. Why? Because my mind wandered and my nephews were also running around the house being noisy, causing me to have to backtrack to listen to what was being said. I was also looking at MBTI posts on Reddit. We are the ultimate multitasking masters!
You may be an ENTP if you can't decide for the LIFE of you what you actually want to be in life, as there are like a million+ professions (ideas, really) that you find intriguing: lawyer, doctor, carpenter, military pilot, ... but when you finally get a job you'll likely stay in that particular profession though, as there's just too much dedication and hard work involved in switching careers. So I guess it takes a while before you can transform your actual profession and branch out into something different yet similar. For me, this was switching from being a software developer to IT project management, and now finally founding my own gaming start-up company. YMMV. Loved the video!!
It's depressingly hilarious how I always want to toss out my thoughts and suggestions but usually keep my mouth shut. I've learned that most people are... idiots? People get stuck on one way of thinking or doing things and, when confronted with a new idea, get upset. I just kick back and watch dumb people do dumb things whilst wondering why I don't just off myself.
ENTP here... People consider you as a leader because you take charge of things naturally, but only because you are exploring the novelty of it; in reality you don't have a detailed plan, just an overall sense of how things should be.
You may be an entp when you're in the middle of watching this video (or just any videos) and your mind starts thinking about something else and you get so lost into it then get mad because now you have to rewind the video but you wont do it anyway because that would be a waste of time since you gotta finish the video soon because you already want to do something else
You may be an entp if half way through a sentence in a convo, you stop, go into your head and run through what you were about to say, consider the implications and then you say "no that can't make sense" and the person you were talking to is like wait, what...
Attention Deficit Disorder would probably be better called Attention Excess Disorder. The problem is not paying attention, but to paying attention to things other than what others think we should.
I grew up thinking I was horrible because I was always told I was argumentative. Really, I can't help but point out things I feel is out of place or I think is flawed, question people's ideas and how they made their conclusions, and okay yes, i do like arguing. Fine... I do the arguing thing in my head a lot. I argue with myself, think of something that already happened then make up how it would have sounded like if we argued, or make future arguments that could happen. Fuck I argue with things I know is not going to reply to me like an audio or video. I probably will comment about how stupid something was and how wrong they were.. ppppssshhhhhhh...
CommitmENTPhobe OH definitely! They won't get the thrill we can have when we can understand another perspective or when we learn something new which can give us MORE ideas!
"You may even argue with yourself" wow. I have never felt a more accurate statement. I love to think of all aspects of the argument, and with today's tense political environment, I am truly having so much fun through the mental hurdles that baffle and challenge me.
you may be an ENTP if... it's early in the morning / late at night and you're watching a video but you stop halfway to clean a fukking tea stain off your carpet cus it's bugging you.
I'm generally far away from being a J but when i know that someone else is depending on me, i turn into a Super J. 'Sense of Responsibility' is my driving force.
ENTP here. Funny that you mention being interested in indie music, because you always have it playing in the background of your videos and I have the EXACT SAME SONGS downloaded on my playlist. Just kinda cool.
Hahahaha... yea... you may be an entp if you sing along to the music in the background and then rewind every now and then bc you were so into the music 😅
you seem like a pretty well-rounded ENTP, covering all the good and the bad - and most importantly, you exude self-awareness - coming from examination of your beliefs, life, observing self and others etc. it seems safe to take you as the standard ENTP and try and understand them better as a group. thanks a lot for sharing your self-knowledge! ~ infj
Wtf man doing something this relatable should be illegal... Keep up the good videos! Subbed. I'm pretty sure I'm an NTP, but I'm struggling to settle for I/E, and it sucks because I've read many times INTPs and ENTPs are very similar. Any tips anyone?
+blancowh Glad you enjoyed!! I would highly recommend looking into cognitive functions as I believe this is the best way to type yourself. If I had to guess, I'd say that you're ENTP. I've read somewhere that ENTPs are much more likely to be confused about what type they are than INTPs.
Yeah, I heard INTPs rarely mistype themselves as ENTPs, but the other way around is fairly common, thank you for your response! As for cognitive functions... I'm sure I'm an active Ne and Ti user, but I'm pretty deficient in both Fe and Si, so it's likely that I'm an ENTP as you say because both types struggle relating to others, but INTPs can be attentive to detail, unlike me. I'm still not sure though, I will follow your future videos to look for any red flags about my ENTP-ness. Thanks again :)
Work with 2 INTPs and they highly annoy me with their judgy, high accuracy nature for everyone else, but never themselves. Smart AF, but usually do the bare minimum with their intelligence in terms of action. -ENTP-A
The arguing bit - I do that in the shower all the time. I have those long internal conversations with people I know in my head - and when the time comes to talk with them, what usually comes out of my mouth is something totally different than what I imagined, heh :)
"You see time differently than other people do." YES! I like to do things my own way and I definitely prefer to do things on my own time. That idea is hard to understand. A lot of people find it really selfish and inconsiderate. Things may be cluttered but there is an order to them in my head and I always think I have more time. I lose the idea or the concept of time and actually not really realise how much time has already passed. I understand this causes A LOT of problems so I do work on my timing on certain things I find vital. Otherwise, everyone else needs to come to terms with this.
Doing nothing and getting good grades and people e.g parents get pissed you don't work then are amazed at your results. This made me lol. I did nothing in school, absolutely nothing and walked away in the top 5% of my school. Then decided uni/collage was pointless because logically the grades people get have nothing to do with their career paths. I then did a personal training course because it interested me as a career, but because I had already done my a levels in sport found it incredibly boring and dropped out within a week because there was nothing new to learn
"Master Procrastinator" is my middle name 😂 had a senior level business course 6-page paper to write, teacher harps about how it'll take 3 weeks to get the research done and paper written, wrote 20 page paper 3 hours the night before, got a 98 😎
I love indie/different music. Diagnosed ADD. I complain aboit movie remakes because its all the same. I work night shift and have an incredibly hard time sleeping. My mind won't stop processing the universe.. Excellent points.
You make me feel so normal. Suddenly, those icky signs about not changing your vibe but finding your tribe make sense! There are mild variations, but, eerything you are saying so far is so spot on. Except for the variations. lol I mean, like, I don't LOVE to argue. I don't LOVE to prove people wrong. I would so much prefer that people were nto wrong or at least were not so wrong that they needed to be proven wrong. Same as I don't like to compete. I tell people I don't like to compete and they are like "What about that one story where the gym teacher said someone like you couldn't do gymnastics and then you..." and I"m like "I didn't want to compete. She made it necessary for me to prove her wrong because she was unfairly attacking a student based on their body type and her own assumption about their muscle and bone mass versus fat ratio. That's wrong to do to anyone. It's not my fault she did it to me. If she had done it to someone who really couldn't do the routine, the girl who had been struggling for a few months to learn the routine I whipped out exactly perfect the frist time and who had been agreeing with the gym teacher and laughing at me for being overweight wouldn't hate me and be crying in the bathroom right now, and I'd just be telling the teacher off for being a creep." Or, something like that. I don't like to argue. I don't like to compete. I don't even like to debate. I just also don't like lies, hypocrisy, insincerity, thoughtless cruelty or losing. Well, most specifically, I don't like losing to poor winners or those who ought not ever win because they are essentially evil or at least are engaging in currently evil conduct. I am fine playing a friendly "who cares who wins, let's see how things pan out" game of whatever and losing every time. Because, it's meant to be fun, not to harm others or belittle them, etc.
I had to pause the video several times because I just couldn't believe how accurate it was. I mean, the arguing with others and OURSELVES part, the messy room, the procrastinating, being late, the high standards. I felt like you had put cameras in my house. I'm 19 and the truth is that I don't know many people like me so I feel great with all of you ENTPS here in this video!
I catch 💩 for every one of these things! Eye contact, and not getting emotional in an argument would bother my family and acquaintances. It's comforting to know there are others like this. I don't feel like such a huge jerk.
Growing up in the late 60’s / early 70’s, I really felt so solitary, so strange about who I was. Young people today are lucky to know they’re not strange, they’re just ENTP’s. Hey, it took almost 6 decades, but I finally found my “tribe”. Dude, you are super good at this! Subscriber #666 (glad I’m not a Christian with that number) wishes you all the best.
I think the procrastination is related to the the fact that ENTP needs to improve constantly. Improving yourself is a challange and ENTP loves challanges.
Well I definitely don't sleep and my mind wonders through many unrelated topics on the Internet, and I am a master procrastinator. Truth and Logic over feelings.
Your Sun sign maybe Cancer , but your Rising, and Moon sign might be Air signs. My son Zodiac Sign is Scorpio, Aquarius Rising , Moon in Aquarius. I could see my son as a INTP in the near future. I can also see my son having INFP because of his Sun sign in Scorpio. My Zodiac sign is Aquarius, Gemini Rising, and Moon in Libra, But i'm a ENTP. The reason i'm a ENTP because of Gemini Rising and Moon in Libra. ENTP are thinkers not feelers like the Zodiac sign Cancer, but Again you might have others signs that are Air.
"You may be an ENTP if you have crappy handwriting." I actually have a pretty good handwriting, other people even compliment me for it. BUT, I sometimes miss words or even combine words (like the first syllable of the first word and the last syllable of the second word) when I'm writing my thoughts since my eyes and hands can't keep up. 😂
This is the first time i hear about nocturnal being a characteristic of entps, and i totally relate to that!! Nobody is gonna interrupt me at this time... furthermore it's colder ahahah it's pretty common for me to go to sleep at 7am~ :P
Based on a lot of what you said (and other ENTP videos here on RUclips), I'm getting more and more convinced that my best friend is an ENTP. Granted, some of the stuff you mentioned did not sound like him. But, a lot did. Kinda made me chuckle, lol.
I am an INTP, and I relate to this except for a few things related more to extroversion like talking to yourself out loud, I do this internally. And I think the channel name is quite creative.
You are an ENTP. They can talk to themselves inside your mind. Tbh if you are in control and more judging, you are an INTP. But if you are more used to little to massive chaos, you are ENTP. ENTP can even come off as more introverted than INTP sometimes. So think about it !
You know when you're ENTP when you open your browser, search for the subject you have been thinking about, get distracted by something else and therefore you end up into this rabbit hole of knowledge, 60 tabs down the road you decide to do something else but in the meanwhile forgetting what you wanted to do and you start thinking of something else......there 3 hours waisted and my bed is still a mess yaaaaay
Me: *gets a C in math* Also me: I’m better than this, I need to get that grade up. Me again: *brings it up to an A then let’s it fall back down to a B-*
The more i listen to you, the more I love you. I used to read books for entertainment. I would take much longer with self help. Now, I do sometimes read books for entertainment, but mostly only if I'm ill or I think I need to sleep but can't. But, I really do mostly read as you have described. I've got something like 6 books sitting near my bed that I started and more in the living room, some got put out in a shed for now, but I do still intend to read them.
you might be an ENTP if: you decided not to watch the video as soon as you noticed it was 15min long. people frequently ask you if you’re flirting with them. you’re known as that one student who doesn’t study at all but gets high grades. you plan. yes, you do. a lot. you plan your future for fun, you think everything through rationally, but doesn’t focus on the present and rarely does what you planned. you avoid commitment and feelings... but when you fall in love, you’re on the middle of completely freaking out and not caring at all about being emotional and sentimental. it’s really hard for you to fall for someone or even really love someone as a friend. you feel superior to most people, but don’t let it show, so you rarely come off as arrogant. when you’re reading a book, you either read it in one single day or you take a whole year to finish it. you’re competitive, but losing at something doesn’t necessarily make you upset, just more competitive. Also, if you win, you’re gonna provoke your other competitive friends until they get mad at you or stop playing.
You might be an ENTP if 2 minutes into any youtube video your mind wanders off to something like "Do penguins have knees?" and that sends you down a rabbit hole of google searches
Right on! I have no tolerance for stupid people!!! Argue with myself constantly. Non-fiction and self help books, no novels. I love to learn NEW things!! Fast learner. Easily bored, easily distracted. Always late. HATE making decisions. Thank you for posting this video. It was very helpful. I just took the test tonight and found out I'm an ENTP and now I understand myself better! 😊👍
I relate to 100% of what you said. It suprised me what you said about attention problems, because it has been my nr1 problem in school and academically.
The part about the books is spot on man...I’ve been trying to finish a book on economics for a year now. If it helps, try listening to audiobooks..they are easier to digest...I’ve tested it on myself.
I am an ENFP and am really similar to a lot of these things. I typically get along very well with ENTPs because of their logical side and ability to talk things out, and since we are both used to subjects bouncing all around and have a bagillion hobbies, there's always something new to talk about! I love itttttt
Oh yes, Some of my favorite people are ENTPs. I love how random the conversation can be and the back and forth is so much fun! Hard to find people who equate to the ENTPs ability to argue playfully!
Just found you.. And I agree with most of these except the books thing.. I love reading books including fiction but then I find out something from that fiction and read a whole lot more about that.. But I still finish the book pretty soon.. And you might also be an ENTP if you start a channel, make some really good videos but then just leave it like that 😂 would have loved more content from you..
Spot on. One way I have been able to finish some of those books that I started - in some cases 10-15 yeas ago- is to find it on audiobook. Assuming there was enough interest/demand for the books to be put on audiobook.
I've noticed that since I come from a rather artistic family my instrest lie in artful hobbies. Although, in regards to hobbies, I love to read, write, sing, listen to music, research art styles, research different crafts like, sewing, woodworking, card manipulation, puzzle boxes, cake decorating, cookie decorating, slime reviews, gameplays of games of all genres (fantasy rpg, horror, indies, action, fps, puzzle, crpg, jrpc, mmorpg, etc.., videos of drama/tea in various 'industries'(art, entertainment, makeup, etc..), photography, new techniques for basically anything (art, lighting, game design, character design, cooking, backing, decorating, cleaning, etc..), digital art in various forms, genetic anomaly's, extinct creatures, various reddit compilations, videos on learning several different languages, researching the best workouts, researching what makes each person different both biologically and mentally, researching terms and diving into discussions on things I've only just discovered, watching up to five yt videos at the same time while still ignoring my giant 'watch later' list and not finishing more than half of everything I watch (unless I go through the comment section while listening to it). and many more...so yeah make sense...
But, also, thank you for everything you said before "Attention Deficit" because, yeah .. I have done a lot of experimention. What drives me crazy is that I find out things work but I have no ability to go back and make myself do them. It's of little interest to me if there is no one else around interested who needs the help or companionship. And, yeah ... I learned a long time ago that I cannot drive. People think this means I need practice. NO! It means I can drive just fine until suddenly I can't because I need to do something else. I was once in a band with several people who all had similar problems and we would literally play a weird form of "musical instruments" Like, I would be playing drums and then I'd suddenly realize I was done or close to and would have to move over to what I could do- lead singer, guitar, back up singer, etc. And, everyone else would shift to something else. Not everyone had that problem, which was good, because, that meant some people just had enough talent and normalcy to move into whatever position and they were okay with it. A few of us had to move and do other things or we'd lose our rhythm and ruin everything. One of them was a guy I have recently started to suspect of being an ENTP. He manipulated me a lot! I didn't mind as it was socially engaging in a way I could handle, involved me manipulating others and there was usually a fight or an argument involved.
I checked out your 3 videos as you advised and I really enjoyed them. I love learning about different subjects and about ENTPs because you ENTPs are very intriguing. I am, especially, fond of healthy ENTPs. I know there are a spectrum of different kinds of ENTPs just like any type and that's why I try to learn about all kinds of ENTPs. I love your music choices heard in the background of both your videos, by the way. I think you are extremely intelligent and I don't say that just because you can recite information, but I also say that because it's done tastefully, with a passion, determination to learn, and because you genuinely want to; it comes out of you naturally. Again, I really appreciate your invite to watch your videos (: - INFJ
ENTP here and it's so funny how accurate those points are! Just not the punctuality one, I'm super punctual and super specific about time. But at age 39 I've learnt to use Google calendar reminders to get household chores or other jobs done otherwise they don't happen. One to add: You may be an ENTP if you need mental stimulation to get through a gym workout. I take podcasts to the gym. If by chance my phone does go flat, I will leave because it's too boring just doing a workout 😄
I am laughing out loud at 'the master procrastinator’. Also at my last job I had a female Partner call me ‘prickly’. I told her no one had ever said that about me. As it turned out it was what she felt.
Cool video bro , keep it up , i know you will come up with some crazy shit, put your guts together and make a video about it haha , take care , and btw i got everyone of your "points" on the list , peace ENTP brother
"...you are your own test subject" hey! I only tried to lucid dream then write everything i could remember doing the next day to see if it affects memory... ok there's also the time i tried to electrocute myself.... hey theres also ... ok you win
I enjoyed this video, I think it's a very comprehensive description of the ENTP type. There are some things I thought weren't completely accurate though. Like, I can see how you can associate certain traits to ENTPs especially with the sort of stereotype and reputation that they have but some of the more daily-life quirks you mentioned don't apply to all ENTPs out there. I'll list a few I thought were a little off. 1. Linking ENTP to ADHD. I know it's kind of a meme because ENTPs are generally scatterbrained and easily distracted (as am I) but memes aside, I'd argue that not all ENTPs have ADHD, in fact most of them don't. Sure, ENTPs mostly exhibit traits that make them out to be attention-deficit and hyperactive, but a disorder implies that it is something severe to the point that it impedes the daily life and functioning of the person. I don't personally believe that majority of ENTPs are this level of dysfunctional to the point where they would have a officially diagnosed clinical term to describe them as a whole. 2. Messy handwriting. Maybe this applies to most ENTPs but it doesn't particularly for me because my introverted thinking function was developed very early in my childhood. My handwriting is pretty neat (To my standards anyway... 🙃) but that doesn't mean that I don't have a lot of buzzing ideas. I just very immediately use my parent function Ti to filter out all the Ne noise and write only the critical things that matter (Cuz I'm lazy... though I still always end up writing over the limit). My handwriting is cursive though, it's much faster than always needing to lift the pen after every letter. 3. Being late. Idk if this is an ENTP stereotype thing or if many ENTPs truly have this problem, but honestly my tertiary Fe doesn't allow me to do that. I'm always either right on time or at most 5 minutes late. Fe child gives an unconscious innocent desire to be liked and follow social norms, so I try to offend as little people as possible unless I'm arguing with them.
You’re ESFJ. You’ve got your functions mixed up. Fe Si Ne Ti. Your Ti is not even close. Maybe ISFJ… but unlikely. You think you’re extraverted. Yeah. Fe Si Ne Ti. Read your own comment and pay attention to what you said and compare that to THIS function order. And, no… Ti doesn’t make your handwriting better. BUT inferior Ti can struggle to use logic perfectly. You peacocked Ti. But you’re using Si to do those things that you’re doing well, not Ti. Just saying. Everything you said fits ESFJ. It does not fit ENTP. HOW you said it all even more importantly…
i have a crush on an entp. instead of actually talking to him, i am learning more about his personality type instead, got to love it:) i feel really inspired by him because you can tell that he's truly himself, he ain't trying to impress anybody. he also has different views on the world in comparison to most people. that makes him reaally attractive. -from an INFP :)
As an ENFP who shares Dominant Extraverted Intuition (Ne) and Inferior Introverted Sensing (Si) i can relate to many of these things. Thats why I enjoy chatting with ENTP's so much!
I had a friend who hadn't ever heard of MBTI, but once told me, 'Delaram, I think at 90 degree angles'. I told him I'm predicting he's an ENTP, but I'm not going to tell him what that means until he takes a cognitive functions test (to reduce bias). I was right. I also relate to about 50% of this, which is probably why I used to think I was an ENTP. Thanks for the concise, interesting points :)
The late part I had corrected in the military..timings are everything! And organized chaos..because of out mind it seems like a mess but Infact it's organised to us and it's frustrating when people move things..this is big in relationships
You may be an ENTP if you always scroll through the comments for enough stimulation, get lost in one and then being mad that you didn't pay attention to the video 😂
Rainbow Kenny I can relate, rn
Rainbow Kenny yesss!
OMG all the time.
yep
lol. o/
you may be an ENTP if you want everything organized but CANNOT possibly get it done.
Got me
I can get it done. In fact I'll do it tomorrow!
You may be an ENTP if you find yourself being more content alone, reflecting on yourself, BUT when you are in the mood to be social, you have no problem not only fitting in easily, but also being a group leader.
Amen!

AMEN
"you may be an Entp if you argue with and talk to yourself"... Proceeds to argue out loud with self as to wether I do this or not.
Paul Nolan THATS SO ME
Paul Nolan Actually laughing out loud
This is common for Infp's as well, I've read. So it's probably something other types do as well.
You may be an ENTP/INTP if you...
Open your browser to look up ONE thing and end up with 80 tabs in a few hours.
It's pretty much an extension of the book habit.
hahaha and endup "bookmarking all tabs" to get back at it later but never go back at it yet do the same thing on another subject, this is hilarious i discovered that mbti thing yesterday and i am amaze to see there is other people like me
I hear ENTPs often leave open a shitton of tabs at once. The most I've ever had opened is three, and that only happens every so often.
i would but my computer doesnt have the RAM
/ / this occurs in entp's because the people that have acquired the knowledge of computers as a hobby or a thought in their mind then they want to have the fastest running computer so the accomplish tasks faster... wow as I just typed all this I realized how much the entourage just took over my explanation 😂😂😂
SO TRUE!! I have 17 open right now!! :P
You might be an ENTP if your hair is a mess, your inbox is a mess, your apps are a mess, and your life is a beautiful train wreak.
What the fuck is wreak?
My phone is mess, my life, room, hair are mess, but my inbox is perfection. Can i still call myself ENTP?
And your grammar.
And also if think the rest 15 are jackass
everything is a wreak, including your grammar
Planning arguments in the shower. Dude you're killing me! So relatable. You also know you are an ENTP if you break rules just to prove that there is a better way to do things...or just because you hate rules.
Yeah...... I thought I was the only weirdo who did that.
Omg

Oh my God! Last night I was just going over parts of my past and they had so much of someone saying to me "You can't do that." and me asking "Can't?" like I never heard of the word, usually about something I had already done anyway but sometimes about something I was not even planning to do until they said I can't. Or, "You will not.." or "Don't you dare." May and maybe are some of my favorite words! I say maybe a lot of the time.
§öphişt Maybe if we weren't entps...

ENTPs don't have feelings unless they really like someone. Then the only time we have feelings is when they're nearby.
+Jordan Stenstrom Unless said ENTP has very strongly developed Fe.
Dnt we have feelings or we dnt know how to deal with it? I believe that is really tiring thing to deal with it. And yes: Im MENTAL. lol. But a happy n fun mental. ;)
Flavia Albino literally the entp motto
Jordan Stenstrom I can relate to this. Its like I become a feeling type with my SO and without here there I am the jerk of jerks hahah
this is extremely relatable
I like to argue, but not with stupid people. Big waste of time.
Stupid people used to bore me out, but I got around that by elicitating a belief out of that person and turn it upside down. Lots of fun!
Ha ha
Totally agree
I like to argue with people even if their opinion is against me
But when someone comes up with some basic shit or meaningless words it winds me up
You might be an ENTP if you were reading a book, suddenly realized it would be good to top off your "to read" list so you googled Bill Gates' reading list, started adding his list to your list, four books in you remembered what Bill Gates said about artificial intelligence and think how you should post that on Facebook, so you googled it, ??? , two hours later you are watching a youtube video about robot caretakers when you realize you got off track, you nod at your ENTP - ness and then compulsively google ENTP memes which eventually leads to this video. It is now Wednesday and you have a meeting to lead in 5 minutes which you are not prepared for. You watch one last video.
Exactly
Hahah :D so true..
Lol
oh god i really am an entp huh fuuuck hahaha we’re in it together guys
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one!!
You may be an ENTP if you had to pause this video 20 times just to make it through.
+Alysse Jacobs Haha, 10/10 can relate!
Alysse Jacobs LoL
It took me 4 times the length of the video is to get through it. Why? Because my mind wandered and my nephews were also running around the house being noisy, causing me to have to backtrack to listen to what was being said. I was also looking at MBTI posts on Reddit. We are the ultimate multitasking masters!
i'm in the "2* speed entp team" oterwise i get bored easily :(
You may be an ENTP if you can't decide for the LIFE of you what you actually want to be in life, as there are like a million+ professions (ideas, really) that you find intriguing: lawyer, doctor, carpenter, military pilot, ... but when you finally get a job you'll likely stay in that particular profession though, as there's just too much dedication and hard work involved in switching careers. So I guess it takes a while before you can transform your actual profession and branch out into something different yet similar. For me, this was switching from being a software developer to IT project management, and now finally founding my own gaming start-up company. YMMV. Loved the video!!
daveyhu I find making resumes hard and I'm lazy when finding another job because I'm never sure of what I'll be good at
You might be an ENTP if you're 42, married with 5 kids, and still haven't decided what to be when you grow up. 😜
I'm at the end of my school career right now and I have no idea which way is should try to go lol
The day you decide not to decide: that day, that day you become a real ENTP.
You May be an ENTP If.. you thought that ur special then u find video like this and see that many people are just like you!
Totally related to this... To the point of commenting.
I liked it, thought I was just crazy lol
''You may be an ENTP if you never sleep''
Lol, i'm watching this at 5:00 a.m hahahahahh
Sleep is for the weak! Haha
“I don’t sleep. I hate those little slices of death."
Me at 2:30 am hahhaha
precisely...
Yeah 2:30 am for me too lol
ENTP here... People consider you as a leader because you take charge of things naturally, but only because you are exploring the novelty of it; in reality you don't have a detailed plan, just an overall sense of how things should be.
novelty
You may be an entp when you're in the middle of watching this video (or just any videos) and your mind starts thinking about something else and you get so lost into it then get mad because now you have to rewind the video but you wont do it anyway because that would be a waste of time since you gotta finish the video soon because you already want to do something else
;(
You may be an entp if half way through a sentence in a convo, you stop, go into your head and run through what you were about to say, consider the implications and then you say "no that can't make sense" and the person you were talking to is like wait, what...
Attention Deficit Disorder would probably be better called Attention Excess Disorder. The problem is not paying attention, but to paying attention to things other than what others think we should.
Entp as fuck !

'Even if there’s no one around you’re arguing with yourself...’ this is true.
+Joanne Cervania Some people will never understand the value of a good argument...
CommitmENTPhobe OH definitely! They won't get the thrill we can have when we can understand another perspective or when we learn something new which can give us MORE ideas!
I disagreed with your arguments as they were thoughtless and Pedantic.......... ;)

You may be an ENTP if you're recording a video to post on RUclips with music playing in the background.
not really
@@afuranta9612 not
"You may even argue with yourself" wow.
Also I think the reason we (entps) talk to ourselves is because we have no one to share our ideas with.
Sadly true.
It's like being quick and slow at the same time
~ infj
“You may be an ENTP if it takes you months or years to read a book.”
Me: **Looks at stack of unfinished books**
As i like to say ENTPs are introverts who one day said "fuck it, im an extrovert"
Work with 2 INTPs and they highly annoy me with their judgy, high accuracy nature for everyone else, but never themselves. Smart AF, but usually do the bare minimum with their intelligence in terms of action.

The arguing bit - I do that in the shower all the time. I have those long internal conversations with people I know in my head - and when the time comes to talk with them, what usually comes out of my mouth is something totally different than what I imagined, heh :)
"You see time differently than other people do."
YES!

You make me feel so normal. Suddenly, those icky signs about not changing your vibe but finding your tribe make sense! There are mild variations, but, eerything you are saying so far is so spot on. Except for the variations. lol
I mean, like, I don't LOVE to argue.

ENTP are the Zodiac Air signs : Aquarius, Gemini , and Libra
+tigerfist1126 Not that I believe in zodiac signs anyway, but I'm Cancer.

"You may be an ENTP if you have crappy handwriting."
I actually have a pretty good handwriting, other people even compliment me for it. BUT, I sometimes miss words or even combine words (like the first syllable of the first word and the last syllable of the second word) when I'm writing my thoughts since my eyes and hands can't keep up. 😂

Handwriting tips: just tilt your book counterclockwise and your handwriting will automaticly be improved (it's gonna tilt nicely).

OMG, It's scary how I can relate myself to all of your point. This MBTI's test make me feel like I'm more normal than I was thinked hahaha

I've been reading one book for five years :D
you might be an ENTP if:
you decided not to watch the video as soon as you noticed it was 15min long.
people frequently ask you if you’re flirting with them.
you’re known as that one student who doesn’t study at all but gets high grades.
you plan. yes, you do. a lot. you plan your future for fun, you think everything through rationally, but doesn’t focus on the present and rarely does what you planned.
you avoid commitment and feelings... but when you fall in love, you’re on the middle of completely freaking out and not caring at all about being emotional and sentimental.
it’s really hard for you to fall for someone or even really love someone as a friend.
you feel superior to most people, but don’t let it show, so you rarely come off as arrogant.
when you’re reading a book, you either read it in one single day or you take a whole year to finish it.
you’re competitive, but losing at something doesn’t necessarily make you upset, just more competitive. Also, if you win, you’re gonna provoke your other competitive friends until they get mad at you or stop playing.
I love and don't care about competition, but everything else yes.
Sometimes when I'm not learning in a class because I know the subject matter, I enjoy it because I can more easily argue with the professor.
You might be an ENTP if 2 minutes into any youtube video your mind wanders off to something like "Do penguins have knees?" and that sends you down a rabbit hole of google searches

I'm an ENFP and I love arguing, discussing things in a lively challenging manner.
I relate to 100% of what you said. It suprised me what you said about attention problems, because it has been my nr1 problem in school and academically.
All points correct. I'm ENTP chic.
Same here!! Have you ever met an ENTP or ENTJ, started arguing playfully and felt so at home and happy?

Spot on.
One way I have been able to finish some of those books that I started - in some cases 10-15 yeas ago- is to find it on audiobook. Assuming there was enough interest/demand for the books to be put on audiobook.

Also I love the word play with your channel name
You may be an ENTP if you speed your youtube videos up...great video, sir.

Entp here and you are spot onnn. Good job.
Dude! This is spot on....it freaked me out it’s so accurate.
Youre writing a comment while reading comments while watching this at 2x speed at 3 am
i have a crush on an entp. instead of actually talking to him, i am learning more about his personality type instead, got to love it:) i feel really inspired by him because you can tell that he's truly himself, he ain't trying to impress anybody. he also has different views on the world in comparison to most people. that makes him reaally attractive.
That was awesome!
The late part I had corrected in the military..timings are everything! And organized chaos..because of out mind it seems like a mess but Infact it's organised to us and it's frustrating when people move things..this is big in relationships
