It’s very rare to see 3C Hair youtubers that decide not to do the super clumped look. And honestly it’s refreshing. I love my curls clumped but sometimes it’s nice to have them separated as well and it definitely adds to volume. Anyway love your hair so much! 😍🥰
This was perfect for me because I really struggle with finding people with not just my hair type but fine hair too! looking forward to trying out your routine :)
I always thought I was in the 4a club but looking at your hair I can see that I might be a 3c 😂. My sister is 4c and she always tells me I don’t belong in the 4 gang 🤣😅🙈! I’m a cosmetologist and my hair type still confuses me... I think I’ll go with “D” for difficult and “T” for tangles lol. Anyway, great video ❤️
I heard that hair type isnt even taught in cosmetology or in hair school maybe that's why its still confusing. I think 4c is pretty easy to differentiate (it's just that people mislabel it a lot) and 4a is sometimes confused with 3c. It's all over the place lol
@@bandaqueenlove9134 4c is actual not easy i have 4c hair and I know that its dry and rough and u have to be careful and watch out for hair loss and when you use flat irons you sometimes need it on low especially if you dont have grease:) I just had to correct you because I'm tired of people calling my hair type "easy"
hair type isn't that important. it doesn't tell us anything about how we should treat out hair. density and porosity for example much more important. you might be watching a youtube video of someone with the same hair type as yours but any advice is useless if their hair is thicker/thinner than yours or they have a different porosity. and it's very common for people to have more than one hair type, i have 3 for example. basically, it's a good starting point for baby naturals but it doesn't do much for hair health in the long term
I finally just knew I was a 3c/4a. It was a long search, but I finally found you, your hair, my hair, our hair 😂😂 ..The hubby kept saying "you aint 4 nothin" lol so I went on my last search, DETERMINED to find my hair type and here you are! Subbed ❤
Hahah yeah I get that a lot! I have such a mix of different textures (which is super common apparently) so it makes it tricky to describe! Thank you so much ❤️
I could be wrong but I think I see 3c and 4a when your hair was damp. 3c is obviously your dominant pattern. I don’t think anymore has just one pattern. I am 3c but I have looser curl pattern as well.
I have problems with finding my hair type I’m currently transitioning and my hair looks exactly as hers when product is added or when moisturized but when dry it shrinks just a bit. Is it 3c or 4a or something else??
Your previous commentor took the words out of my mouth. That's exactly my hair. I can't get an afro, the top is too silky and long too stand up. Your afro is bomb, sis.
You just saved me!! I used a lot of gel for a wash n go and looked like ramen 🍜! I washed it out mostly and it looks better. I love the softer look like yours
I comb mine out and then braid it. Before I braid it I put a curl enhancing leave in cream and take the braids out and I do not brush the waves out. I might comb it out but I do not brush it after I take the braids out. I have 3c and maybe 4a. Putting my hair in braids and taking them out in the morning and Not brushing after taking the braids out helps me wear it natural.
Yeah to be honest I have a few different textures on my head, tighter around the top, about 3c in the middle and 3b at the very bottom as it's more loose so I usually stick with 3c as that's in the middle 😂. Thank you so much!
Honestly it took me a while to work out mine as no one with my hair type seems to style theirs in the same way (it's usually super defined and glossy looking). Mine is definitely a mix but mostly 3c and honestly I don't think typing matters too much as none of the products I use say this is for X hair type if that makes sense. I just look for anything that's going to hydrate as my hair is dry 💕
Sounds like you could possibly have low porosity hair with how much you need heat. Honey & glycerine heavy deep conditioners will be your best friend if you have this porosity level.
Meanwhile me, who has 4c hair, and just uses shampoo and conditioner plus styling cream and wonders why my hair is always dry and half dead and easily tangled: ahaaaa so i have been doing it wrong😂
Her hair is definitely 3c, probably has even some 3b in it. 3c hair isn‘t very loose, plus definition has nothing to do with curl pattern, there are people with 4a hair who have a more defined curl pattern than someone with 3b hair
Maurice احمد right! A lot of people do not have very defined curls. Let’s not forget texture and length can make the same hair type look different as well. Curl type is based on the circumference of the curls not the texture
@@Klovely7 what matter is when you hair is dry , her hair is 4a which requires more oil treatment. My hair is 3c when it's wet because of the water weight looks 3b but it doens't matter because dry it show it true shape. I hope I got clear and not confusing. Anyway all hair are beautiful in there own way. Lots of love
We need a new hair typing chart, it's just not comprehensive enough. I would say I have predominantly 3B hair with some 3C in the front but when it is wet it is wavy but when drying forms the curls, no way is my hair in the 2 category, which comparing to this girl I would be lol. This video is misleading as her hair looks predominantly 4a, this routine is too heavy for 3 hair and would weigh down the curls. Her hair pattern looks like it is a consequence of the products. Sorry, lovely girl but needs to relabel this video.

I hate when my curls are clumped. Especially the fact I have shrinkage idk what to do
Exactly because of that I didn’t know I had 3c hair
True. My hair clumps even without products but I really prefer volume over definition
Finally, somebody with hair that's kinda like mine.

What type of porosity is your hair ? BTW i Loved the video !!!

Meanwhile me, who has 4c hair, and just uses shampoo and conditioner plus styling cream and wonders why my hair is always dry and half dead and easily tangled: ahaaaa so i have been doing it wrong😂
4c hair gets dry wayyy more easily since the coils prevent your natural oils from reaching your scalp
