One of the reasons I chose to get a dive real for my anchor setup is because there's 150 ft of line. I figured with 150 feet of line I shouldn't need a quick release being that the deepest lakes that I fish in are about 40 ft Max. And having sixty or seventy feet to work with should be more than enough to correct any issues if I just flip it to free spool.
