Wonderful. Your ocean waves remind me of one of my favorite ocean paintings - the teaser key art for Jaws 2. It's a terrific seascape, even if it's just for an advertisement.
when lightning is painted always remember the sky glow, it is the upmost essential part in the light besides the lightning itself but way cool tutorial!
If that is one of your gallery paintings I see mega money in your future, when one gives they get and you have given us so much of what you have learned, this is why I know you will do well with your gallery painting. I wish you much success with your showing.
Dude! You are the most informative artist on youtube!!! and I have watched several other artist for years now. always wishing they were more like what I've seen from you. I've been watching your vids for hours now. And your really touching on the techniques and such that I've been searching for that no one else seems to! Thank you! plz continue sharing.
Hi Joe I really like this, it will be extremely helpful since I don't have an airbrush. It seems I rewatch your shows and pick up more the second time. Thanks Joe.
I am doing my very first mural. Your channel is amazing praise God for it. I am an artist but I've never done murals before. thank you for making these videos! they help so much!
Awesome! I want to know how to paint those background clouds too. I probably missed it but I haven't seen anything like them on your website or the free lessons that's you've put up on the internet. Thanks again MuralJoe for the lessons and tips greetings from FL!
Hi Joe, i think you need just a touch of yellow in your lightning. Even though i lightning probably is white in nature. it would contrast the other whites in you scene. Just my suggestion. I love your work.
I have a couple of questions... One, is this oil paint or acrylic? Also is there by any chance a tutorial of how you made this whole painting? You do such amazing work and are very inspiring...
Dustin Baker I’m guessing this is acrylic as he’s washing his brushes out with water....I think he uses trade acrylic emulsions for all his work... though he does like his black glosses.. possibly oil there..but not too sure man.
Hi, Joe. For the demos you got on your site (for example, the stormy sea with the monster, its clouds, the ship..) what did you use as models? It seems to be from your mind, but based on memorized items and procedures... Nevertheless, you show yourself thinking of the logic of elements' positions, light angles, etc., as if you were figuring all out at the very instant. If the designs (drawing, lights, tones) are memorized, well, your very good; but if the case is the second one, you are really outstanding, man, and I humbly congratulate you..! That's a very difficult issue. I'm a painter myself and the models are my main concern...
Hi Marlon! Thank you for such a nice compliment. I always study the subject before a project to understand it from all sides and then use that knowledge to form my own scene. On this one, I looked at a lot of diagrams of Pirate ships to get a feel for common shapes. I don't like to work from photos because I can never break away from copying them to closely and it stunts my progress.
very cool joe! hey why dont you bring your workshops to australia? i think you deserve a working holiday down under, dont you?. (i could sell out your workshops in a snap in W.A.)
+Shedz Channel Sounds really cool. If I did come and you sold the tickets..then your's is free of course. Hey, I heard theres a pretty big mural painting contest in Tasmania each year. That would be fun to see. I guess that's still far from there though.
+muraljoe ...well i think youd sell out everywhere in australia (including tasmania). people love these classes here. i know and help many artists here in australia. im actually planning on driving around the country next year (selling my signs, paintings and didgeridoos). maybe you could join me and put on your workshops and sell your paintings? we could record your classes and adventures and get sponsors etc as well. anyhow, let me know if you are seriously considering it? ill be doing it on my own anyway. i cant wait for the adventure to begin! :-)

Hello ! Great work! is this oil paint or acrylic?
realtao he mentioned the paint taking about 30 minutes to dry so it's probably acrylics.

Türkçe seslendirme istiyorum.
have bolt hit water and paint fish floating dead!
Wear a mic. It’s hard to hear what you are saying when your back is to the camera
