@@theo3357 That's right in part. Eastern Rome (today's Turkey) had been devoted to Julius Caesar's general Marc Anthony. The colonizing of Africa started with Augustus Octavian's hate for Marc Anthony. Rome thence split into East and West, from which the Os-Romanum developed into the Osmanum Empire (Ottoman). Ottoman means Osman (East-Men's Rome). Had Julius Caesar's general Marc Anthony succeeded in upholding Julius Caesar's principles toward Cleopatra the colonizing of Africa may not have happened and the saga of Jesus Christ being Cleopatra's son incognito would never have been born. Heres something you may find interesting. :) The name of my country has nothing to do with the interesting and delicious bird ''turkey'', well let me explain. :) Name of my country has always been Turkiye, that is Turk-iye, it's been known as such since around the 1200's, spelled to phonetically resemble ''Turkiye'' in different languages, where the -iye suffix means ''land of/belonging to''.... ...just like the Latin suffix -ia in such countries as Latv-ia, Roman-ia, Eston-ia, Austr-ia, Austral-ia etc etc. Another example; decades ago Czechoslovakia Republic changed it's name to Czech Republic and a few years ago changed that to Czechia (that is Czech-ia). Anyways, most likely the Latin -ia suffix was derived from the Turkish version -iye, as Turkish is much much older. Because in old times people of different languages could only pronounce it as their languages allowed them, we got various differences in spelling like Turchia (in Italian), Turquie (in French) and Turkey (in English) all trying to resemble the pronounciation of ''Turk-ia'' thus Turkiye. Mind you this was way BEFORE the animal we currently know as 'turkey'' was found by the europeans when they explored the north americas, the bird was sent to europe from north americas in the year 1519, so upuntil that they there was no bird named 'turkey'.... ...they came across the bird and thought it was a specie of the fowl/chicken they had been buying from the country of Turkiye at the time, so they named the bird ''Turkey Fowl'' meaning ''Turkish Chicken''..... ....just like how a dog breed is known as German Shepherd (because it's from Germany), Rhodesian Ridgeback (because it's from Rhodesia), American Bulldog, British Terrier, Greek Harehound etc etc. In time you don't get to call the Greek Harehound as simply as ''Greek''; or you don't call the British Terrier as ''British''; or the German Shepherd as ''German'', but in time the Turkish Fowl started to be called just ''turkey'', and has been going on for hundreds of years. Now in 2023, this is causing confusion, especially when we have people across the world unable to point to their OWN country on the atlas, this ''confusion over the naming'' needed to be corrected. So my country decided to rectify this confusion that has been going on for so long and corrected the name in other languages to Türkiye, which it always was, we basically didn't change the name of our country, we changed the mistake made in the English language. : ) So, there's some tid bit information for you to have a great day, if you read upto this point you have a great night too, ohh just have a wonderfull life. : ) Best wishes. ;)

When the Ottoman Empire began to lose its power, in 1830, France invaded Algeria. This invasion marked the beginning of France's occupations in North Africa. Today, Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria still consider themselves somewhat French. They consume French cuisine, speak French as a necessity, and operate their mines for the benefit of France. Due to some people waking up from their deep slumbers, the world's largest Ponzi scheme of fiat currencies seems to be coming to an end. America and Europe are on the brink of a financial crisis, hence they anticipate a new war in the world. This is to erase debts due to interest and to lull societies back to sleep. During the First World War, one million African soldiers fought in the French army, similar to the way the British used Indian slaves. Today, it is not surprising to see them strategically bringing a Zionist Indian to lead for the purpose of persuading India against China. I hope the whole world truly opens its eyes...

It will be better for the world to have many powerful countries than just one or two, so if we have US, Turkey, China, India, Indonesia and Russia - that will really shake the global balance. 2. Turkey has this point of view, if I improve my trade with African countries, it will be easier for both the other country and me to access money, it says mutual win-win philosophy. If you look from the outside, it is very logical. Will Turkey, which has an economy of 1 trillion dollars, have more power, or the country with an economy of 10 trillion dollars? Turkey's? It is the same for the countries opposite it. The fact that they are also growing their economies and getting stronger does not bother Turkey because the Turks are there only for trade and not to exploit. The Turks do not only want unilateral sales like China, they go with the perspective of let's develop our trade and both of us become stronger at the same time. Because if the countries with which it trades strengthen their economies together with Turkey, the mutual trade volume will grow much faster and in this way, both Africans and Turks will have jobs. Unemployment is high in Turkey, and the situation is the same in most African countries, so the Turks' perspective and problem-solving method are quite logical and natural.

As a Turk, I can say that we do not aim to gain any benefit from Africa. We are against the fact that the French and the British are still exploiting African lands in this age, and that Africa is still poor because of its puppet rulers, despite its underground and aboveground riches. We were only able to recover our country in 80-90 years after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. While we were previously cursing injustice in our hearts, now we are fighting with all our might. We love African people because they are human, regardless of their religion. And we want them to live with human dignity. And we want African lands to make their own people rich, not to make European states richer. We never colonized during the Ottoman Empire. We have done more infrastructure work than the taxes we collect on the lands we manage. Except for the Turkish territory where today's Turks live, there are hospitals, schools, bridges, roads, etc. with Ottoman constructions everywhere in the empire, but there was nothing the Ottomans did in Anatolia other than taking taxes and soldiers. We are now strong as a military force. And although our national income is low and our economy is in crisis, we are the country that helps other countries and those in need the most in the world. We are doing our best to save Africa from the system of exploitation. This order cannot be destroyed suddenly, we want to achieve this step by step. @@theo3357 That's right in part. Turkey was EASTERN ROME to start with, but Egypt was colonized by the West Romans after Julius Caesar was assassinated by his successor Augustus who destroyed Julius alliance with Cleopatra and Marc Anthony's liaison with her. This is why some people believe that Jesus was African and that Mary and Joseph were no other than Cleo and Marc incognito...if you believe the Arabian version of the story.

Heres something you may find interesting. :)
The name of my country has nothing to do with the interesting and delicious bird ''turkey'', well let me explain. :)
Name of my country has always been Turkiye, that is Turk-iye, it's been known as such since around the 1200's, spelled to phonetically resemble ''Turkiye'' in different languages, where the -iye suffix means ''land of/belonging to''....
...just like the Latin suffix -ia in such countries as Latv-ia, Roman-ia, Eston-ia, Austr-ia, Austral-ia etc etc. Another example; decades ago Czechoslovakia Republic changed it's name to Czech Republic and a few years ago changed that to Czechia (that is Czech-ia).
Anyways, most likely the Latin -ia suffix was derived from the Turkish version -iye,
as Turkish is much much older.
So, there's some tid bit information for you to have a great day, if you read upto this point you have a great night too, ohh just have a wonderfull life. : )
Best wishes. ;)

Could you tell us what the UK is doing in Africa too? You might come up with its colonial history. Then how about the USA, China and goes on.
Ah, it’s the BBC, my bad!

I'm not Muslim either but I'm tired to see the west as the only power. That's why we don't want Russia to get weak even though they are a pain in our ass. What west is doing to them isn't about Ukraine but about erasing Russia. Once Russia is weak enough their next target will be Turkiye as the regional power. God nows what bs reason they will find to sanction us
Biz sömürgecilere karşı alternatifiniz değiliz. Böyle düşünürseniz kaybedersiniz. Esasen sömürgecilere karşı tek alternatifiniz birbirinizle değil onlarla savaşmaktı. Parçalanmış yapıların çıkar savaşından bahsetmiyorum gerçekten özgürlük için savaşınız. Bizim muhatabımız özgür afrikalılardır. Sömürge olmayı kabullenmeyi sürdürenlerle anlaşabileceğimizi sanmıyorum.
Big respect Mr Erdogan❤

Love and greetings to all our African brothers and sisters from Istanbul Türkiye.
I share very nice conversations with many African friends at my university every day and they are honest and hardworking people who never disrespect, especially my best friend is from Mali and I will go there one day. Evinize Hoşgeldiniz ( Welcome To Homeland )
Africa and Türkiye must help each other to get rid of Western domination which had brought nothing but exploitation.
idk much but i believe turkey has more reasons to be in africa than eu or new world countries
Greetings from Turkey to all our oppressed African brothers.
