  • The East Hamptons home from the documentary "Grey Gardens" is on sale for nearly $20 million. Built in 1897, the home was refurbished in 1979 by the current owner. The documentary then sparked an HBO film and a Broadway musical of the same title.

    They tore down the wall that separated the butler's pantry and kitchen. Why turn the main kitchen into a family room?? They should have left the original floor plan in placed . I see where they dismantled the back staircase and placed an open winding staircase to the servant's quarters. I wonder what the Bradley's did with the attic, which was HUGE!!! Perhaps they turned it into additional living space. A beautiful renovation, indeed!

    it is one of the last of its kind on Lilypond. Greygardens isnt just a home,it is a memorial. Thankfully preserved. May it remain so .

    Beautiful Restoration. I Saw The Original Condition of This Property. Through the Documentary, The House Was a Mess!!!😄 In Great Need of Many Repairs. What a Beautiful Outcome💝 👍 👍

    Worth 8million,and only because of its artistic history,but for 20 million standards I would of wrecked it and build a new one if I was a millionaire.

      Yes, though beautiful, it's really only fascinating because of the history.
