You're welcome. One of the rear doors would not budge. Thinking the top hinge is slightly cocked and bound up. May have to take the hinge plate off to straighten out. We'll see.
This was a very, clear, and precise video on how to take the doors off a Jeep correctly and safely. It was a little long, but that's ok. I watched it at 1 and 1/2 X speed and understood perfectly. I really like the padded door holder he built (or bought?) to set the doors in, when off the Jeep. How many people are that careful? What would have been helpful, was some info/ advice for taking the doors off when they're "STUCK" or difficult to lift. Sometimes a jack of some sort must be employed, and there are right and wrong ways of using one.

Often the first time the rear doors will really stick. I used a floor jack with a piece of soft wood on it to reach the bottom of the door. Once there was a little upwards pressure from the jack I asked my wife to move the door back and forth and it popped right out with no damage to the door. You definitely want something soft to protect the door so be careful if you use this method.

+Wolfpak765 My Jeep dealer cautioned against using the floor jack idea, though, I have seen it suggested many times. The Jeep dealer says wiggle back and forth like you did and use penetrating oil to free up the hinge. That's the way I did it. Afterwards, a little grease keeps them easy. Have fun with your Jeep.

there is a compartment in the rear of the vehicle you can put valuables in, it is on the floor and will lock with the back swing-out door. then, you can lock the Jeep and everything in that compartment will be safe :)
Lock the glove box and console compartment with the key. Don't leave anything valuable in the compartments, lock the truck with the key fob and rock on.

My four-door Wrangler has SUPER tight doors that have been getting harder and harder to close over time...Someone suggested that I maybe the previous owner had removed the doors and had neglected to replace something when returning the doors to the Jeep...any idea what this might be? +sidhucer00789 Try using some WD40 and moving the doors open and close to try and loosen them. Using a car jack can be dangerous if it slips. I suggest just tapping it with a rubber mallet. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

I know I am 4 years late to this video but my main question is , ....... If you remove the doors on the Jeep you are basically driving it without the side mirrors. So how can you change lanes or see clearly on your blind spots without them.

Do you really need to put the bolts back in when you put the doors back on? The doors can’t be stolen if it’s locked. Even with them in someone can take a ratchet to them and take them.
AdventureDex I had a rental and I was bummed out to see they took the ratchet out, then looked at it closer and noticed the company or previous renter took them out already. Another one I rented a couple weeks ago had them in. I’m buying a 4 door tomorrow morning.

Followed all instructions, sadly my doors don't want to come off~ I'm so pissed! Used a lil bit of W40 on the hinges but to no avail, doors don't come off. and Jeep is a JKU Rubicon, new!
Sometimes, you really gotta put some elbow grease into them! If you open and close the door several times while applying upwards force to the door they should come off! Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Yes and they are worth about 500 each on the used market. Buddy of mine had his stolen what at a movie, slashed the soft top and were gone in 30 seconds now he's got aftermarket parts to lock the hinge bolt

You can buy some side mirrors that slide into the hinge holes.

I got all screws off and electrical components but the doors dont easily slide off
