Thank you SO MUCH for showing how to install the mirrors! I gave up trying to figure out those ridiculous instructions. Nice tip with the cardboard between the door and the wrench. Really saves the paint from getting dinged by the wrench. Also when putting the doors back on, I apply masking tape around the areas the hinge pins set back into to protect those. Note - one pin is longer than the other.
Glad I could help! The instructions on how to put the mirror on were so bad I might just do a video on that part dedicated to how bad the instructions are. Remember to like subscribe and share!
SWEEEET!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!
Taking that plastic piece off to install the mirrors is priceless!!!❤
Jeep's instructions suck lol
Excellent, well edited description...Thanks!
Thank you for this video! Made putting the mirrors on 1000 times easier
Glad it helped! Rember to like subscribe and share.
I appreciate that these look vaguely likr TJ/LJ mirrors and brackets
instead of cardboard I use a magnetic car decal. It frees my hands up to concentrate on the task at hand.
Would you happen to know the bolt sizes and spacer sizes? Or if they sell these parts separately?
I honestly dont know. All the bolts and spacers come with the kit
The plastic doesn’t really go in when the mirrors are installed though
Do you know the dimensions of the spacer - item D in the instructions?
Why not tie some 550 cord on that hinge so even if it goes inside you can still take it out fairly easy? Or a carabiner.
These seem to mount low. Does the dash block the mirror from the driver’s seat?
I didnt go for a drive with it on as I ran out of time and had to get to a wedding. I dont think Jeep would design a product and have it not work as intended though. I will have to do this again and go for a drive with them on.
Why not just design a permanent cowl mirror so you don't have to remove them when putting the doors back on?
Leave it to the Mopar lawyers to come up with this one. WHY ? Ok, take off your door, now PUT ON a mirror,Take mirror off, put door on. Granted, it looks good and I assume it's very functional and meets all the safety standards, I haven't looked at the price yet but knowing Moper as I do, It's not going to be cheap, even WITH my 25 % discount. For under 50 beans, you can get a mirror and the mount stays on the truck. Easy on, easy off
Great video!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I purchased the mirror set online as part# 82215331AC. The part number in your video, must be used at the assembly plant. I did notice that they are the same, but the part that I purchased did not come with the mirrors attached to the brackets (3 small screws each). Here are the factory instructions for installing that mirror kit.

I like your way better, and I attached my mirrors to the brackets and will try it your way next time. Thanks.
Where did you get the mirror kit???
You can get them at your local jeep dealer. This particular kit came from the factory with Jeep.
Thank you for this! The instructions are HORRIBLE
I know lol
