My eight trigger is jammed and won’t press. This is the 3rd issue I’ve had with this console in a year. My launch day ps4 and controller is still good!
*IF YOUR TRIGGER IS STUCK UPRIGHT*: I first disassembled the controller. I then had to remove the spring so I could move plastic piece under the trigger back behind the “stopper” piece. Other than that I just followed the instructions from this video and that helped a lot.
@@Jack_omega Yeah ima get a new one tomorrow. It’s annoying how these controllers cost an arm and a leg but are built like happy meal toys. Straight ripping people off
Actually i got one for free cus i had guarantee still on it but im also from germany so idk if they give it to you for free. And always bring the controller with you so someone can take a look at it.
Ayy good luck! Main advice is careful putting the black face plate back on, I pushed a little hard and bent the plastic pegs it connects with. Had to get tweezers to straighten them out
Im having this odd issue where my controller is good on the menu/ps ui and then once I enter a game It doesn't register a button and when I went into bf2042 I couldn't even shoot at all and it would randomly register the r2 and shoot but never registers when I press it. Took it apart and the spring was completely broken
@@lustfulbola4480 I actually sold mine, I tried replacing the adaptive trigger springs and no luck, looked up videos daily, and finally gave up got a new one and registered with manufacturer

My DualSense R2 button is stuck on Even though its not being pushed in
You have to slam the trigger a few times hard but not too hard

Nice! I'm going to attempt this as soon as my springs arrive.. that little electric screwdriver is pretty clutch for these sorts of projects!

Me too. It's stuck in a position where you can pull the R2 up slightly.

I'm having the same problem, it's becoming stressful opening the controller up and testing it out. Tried fixing it almost a whole day!!!

Honestly video quality is great but the uncasing of controller made me cringe
