For those of you who are confused by what he means when he talks about a 2D algorithm with 3D capabilities, he's essentially talking about a side-scroller. Imagine a game where you can't change your camera angle, and you can only progress in two directions (forward and backward), but you can bring your character closer to the camera or push them farther away from it. It's a 2D plane because you are in a fixed camera angle, there's only two progressive directions, and the art is "flat," but it has the 3D quality of being able to move your character to different points on the plane in regards to foreground, midground, and background.
hey etho would you ever consider doing a full Q and A video. I think it'd be very interesting but it's up to you. keep up the good work. P.S I love you
everybody does that with every update. it's funny because you can recognize what builds were made just after an update came out just by looking at what strange blocks that nobody would ever use in building (HAHEMpurpurHAHEM).
+Fall3n - well then may i be the reassurance in your attempt that which you do try and let it be known that youve done a great job! cx im so extra ~;-;~
I love that I'm subbed to three different people that have made this same gold farm but each of you has done their own tweaks to the system, cool to see how you can take an idea and make it your own!
Hey etho, you can get so many stacks of magma blocks from the nether. They spawn in huge veins, commonly reaching 6 stacks in size, and are easy to instamine.
I doubt Etho has explored everything even only up to the 3k coords. Unless Etho has a very organized nether quartz branch mine, or has generated every single chunk within 3000 blocks in all directions, there are likly as-of-yet ungenerated chunks in which many stacks of magma blocks can be found.
Etho, in case you didn't know yet: magma blocks safe light untill you go away, when you come back they wont be lit up anymore (just the light level they have on their own). So what you can do is put a light source above/behind/next to the magma blocks where you don't see it, to keep them lit up. It's a bit of extra work, but if you like the way the magma block looks and want to use it for lighting, it works.
You know, I always look at your serious part Etho, BUT I OFTEN FORGET HOW MUCH OF A TROLL YOU ARE :)) I mean, he even used to drop anvils on people's heads, he puts wanky cut scenes in between the video fragments, he teases us with that friggin diamond door, he chucks diamonds into lava RUclips needs a mind boggled Jackie Chan emote...
Does anybody else think Etho didn't actually finish answering the Comment of the Day? It seemed like he was going to also talk about what he did for a living before he uploaded to his RUclips channel as a whole, but forgot about it.
Etho doesn't give out personal details like that. (like job, real name, where he lives, etc). He's a very deliberate in that sense so don't confuse it for him being forgetful.
Hey Etho How did you learn how to program? Did you teach yourself and if so at what age or did you learn in high school or college? BTW Love your videos.
I started learning when I was 8 with Visual Basic 3.0. Once I got a grasp of programming I started learning other languages. (C# is my favorite) I mostly learned from books originally but later from the internet.
Anybody else just in love with how the Netherwart farm looks? Something about all the vibrant and harsh colours mashed together looks sooo good together. I rate 5/7!
I absolutely love the netherwart farm! It looks awesome. Once again I find myself coming to your vids to de-stress. They're always so relaxing. :) Thanks for everything you do!
I have a theory on how we can find out who Etho really is! The population of Canada is about 30,000,000 people. Yes, which means Etho is one of thirty million people. This is a breakthrough!
@@anvical2901 but, we know that Canada is just about 50 50 male to female. So making the HUGE assumption Etho is only 1 gender, we can safely assume he is 1 of 18.5 million people. He's never told us which half (He's never officially confirmed it, so that's all we can assume atm jk :p)
Except he'd probably have to travel really far in the nether to get it, since he's probably explored all of the nearby nether. Disadvantage of having an old world.
He might yield more blocks by wandering the nether, but first he has to get to new terrain (which would be a fair distance away), and secondly he has to actually spend *time and effort* collecting the blocks in the nether, whereas going AFK is time he can spend doing something else. Never underestimate the value of passive activities. Time is our most precious resource.
Also the nether sucks. It's depressing as hell. And you have to constantly kill ghasts and drink fire resistance potions. Have you ever gone glowstone hunting? It's horrible.
He talked about it at one point, before he switched to doing youtube full-time he worked at his family's greenhouse. I don't remember what episode it was, but it's not just rumors.
etho have you ever thought about going to a minecon event or some other event not as etho but as you and blend into the crowd like a stealthy ninja or have you already done this and talk to fans with out them even knowing its you XD
i have yet to see him lie so i guess thats believable but meet up with them at there place? you do know how stalky fans can be theirs a reason he hides his face XD
In regard to the mouse clicking sound. Inside most mice, there is a simple plastic mechanism that produces the click sound. It usually involves a mechanical latch. If you take apart your mouse, and remove the two buttons, it should separate the mechanism. you can then take a small file, and shave away some of the plastic on the "hammer", or part that snaps. Its usually a simple mechanism, you would figure it out once you saw it.
Etho, I like the slides in the skylight. You should keep them there and just put a decorative circle. Maybe with red netherbrick and bone. At the end of all comments of the daysomeone always puts "keep up the good work" or "I love your vids" or something like that. Well I'm not doing it mwahahahaha.
I definitely liked the grass the best in the nether wart farm but it doesn't make a lot of sense in my head. Maybe something else green, hardened clay maybe? red and green contrast well, I just really didn't like the bone or mycelium.
for the beging of the episode i was kinda meh because ive seen u do that and uve been doing allot of mob farms lately, but as soon as you started building i started to feel really inspired even though your not the most elaborate builder the way you talk of things and figure you building look and materials out just makes it inspiring to me so for that thank you Etho
make one side look alive and the other side look dead and make skulls on side that would be perfect and more lava make it like an evil layer on one side
Etho! I'm not sure if you already knew this, but you can find tons of magma blocks in the nether. The veins spawn about 1-3 stacks of magma blocks. This way you don't have to spend so long trying to farm magma balls. You might have to walk quite a bit far to spawn new terrain in the nether to find them, but I think it'd be worth it. Keep up the great work :)
I did this in my survival world, I went for a diffrent block choice which was netherwart block, and netherwart brick block, god the last one was so expensive i used a whole inventory of just sticks and a extra 4 stacks of sticks, 8 stacks of coal, and a stack of gold blocks JUST to create the outer walls... dont ever build with those blocks I learnt the hard way but god did it turn out awesome, now I have a nice supply of netherwart. Made the farm cus im gonna make a auto brewer next, thinking of creating a blaze farm too.
That's one of the reasons I'm such a big fan. I'm very interested in problem solving and technical stuff. I have dealt with my fair share of languages, but currently I'm working mostly with C#, C++, and x86/x64 assembly.
Etho, there are actually gaming mice that have silent clicks. They feel kind-of soft and weird but after a while you get used to it (and just how quiet and great they are). I used to use the Polar Silence Gaming Mouse, and it's really good (I've moved on to another cheap gaming mouse that has a built-in macro function, but the Polar mouse still works fine). I would also recommend a chiclet keyboard if you want your stuff to be more silent for better recordings; chiclet keys don't wobble as much as normal keycaps, and thus they are much more quiet, but it takes a little bit of getting used to.
Is the video in which you made the game engine still on YT and if so what is it called cause if we can get anything from your computercraft projects, you're a pretty impressive programmer.
Etho you should place some dispensers beside each of the 4 places the pigmen fall with a double chest or so of healing potions beside them and hook them up to a longer timer to kill off the pigmen that don't die. Love your vids and keep up the great work!
Oh my... lol is not a word since it has no meaning besides its 'acronym'. It is however not an acronym because it is not a word. For something to be an acronym it has to be a word otherwise it is just initials.
Hey Etho, I know that you always say why you don't do the face cam thing but honestly we don't really care what you look like, even if you've been up for 3 days straight.
Well for myself, I don't need him to ever show it.. I think it would be funny if he never did...However... If Etho does ever show his face I would instantly click on the video and want to see want he looks like. Maybe he doesn't want to be hassled about the way he looks (good or bad), but still I don't see why its that big of a deal if a lot of his fans want to see him. He can't look worse than boogie2988 right? and that guy has 3m subscribers... (not saying that its bad to look ugly lol)
Etho for the skylight in the middle of the nether wart farm you should level it with the grass around it (by adding more green glass on top of it) and cover it with dark green carpets; like that mobs wouldn't be able to spawn on it, it would be almost invisible and light would still go through the opening :)
If you look next to your comment there should be 3 little dots. Click it and it'll drop down a menu that has an option to edit your comment so you don't have to post another one correcting yourself. :D
I am absolutely amazed this series has lasted so long, I remember back in the day when I watched episode 1 when minecraft was early access, and Etho made a video. (not trying to get extra credit) Watch it back then and watch this video now... The difference is amazing this series has lasted probably at least 6-7 years I think?
I remember back in the old days when fence prevented crops from being trampled there were farms where you stacked small fields on top of fences and the flick of a switch would harvest it all. They only really needed height so it shouldn't be hard to squeeze in a similar design somewhere.
IIRC, 2.5D would also be called isometric or orthographic. however, there's a few different variations. I'd assume you're talking about the 'standard' isometric perspective games usually use. It's especially common in city building games, RTS, and MMORPGs.
For the sides of the farm to prevent your warts from getting snagged, use hatches, half blocks or stairs. The look of the farm is great, it matches well with the theme of the ManCave but isn't too far off to the point where you'll never visit it again.
I love the volume on this mouse it's unobtrusive but you can hear if you spam click. I like being able to hear that someone's clicking if there's nothing happening visually to show it.
Coming back to these videos every once in a while always reminds me of I believe when Etho was playing on the 2011 season of Mindcrack... I think I remember him doing something with a Noah's Ark or something with PauseUnpause and Guude... I think...
Etho! On the gold farm you can make stairs from the bottom donut to the one above it so their is still the same amount of spawning space and the zombie pigmen will always die (hopefully you understand what I mean) xisuma did this on the mob farm on hermitcraft IV so you can check it out
Hey Etho, I think some sort of subterranean nature scene would look really awesome in the walls of your sky-light. Like maybe dig and carve into the sides to expose tree roots, mushrooms, and some swampy red fungus (Netherwart of course), and some of those things could be growing down the walls with some vines or something. Just a suggestion. Hope you think it's cool!
Hey Etho, just counted, you have 524 nether wart plants. So that's between 1048 and 2096 nether wart each time you harvest. Now if you harvest manually by hand with a fortune pick, you could get anywhere from 2096 to 3144 per harvest. Not a bad farm, if you ask me. Note: The above numbers do not take into account replanting.
Etho, the netherwart farm looks great. I do think that the ceiling would better if you raised the inner arches a block higher than the outer arches, though, with the skylight being perhaps a block or two higher as well, giving a dome feeling to the whole space.
the doom and wolfenstein games looked like 3D but we're actually top down shooters. As you moved along the map the game scanned the walls in your supposed fov and displayed those on the screen.
Last summer, I just started teaching myself Java because I wanted the learn game programming. Coming from a non-techy family, I don't have anyone to share it with unfortunately so it is hard. But it is very fun once I motivate myself to do it. I don't have any programming friends so I have only done little things just experimenting with my ideas for future knowledge like creating my own collision and other basic things so when I do get an idea, I'll have some tools to work with!
If you'd like a suggestion, a bridge or two going across the center of the farm would look cool. Also, have you ever had a chance to solve a puzzle like the Rubix Cube?
I would put some kind of red stairs to go with the nether wart block on the edges of the nether wart farm, so that it walls of the bouncing nether wart and keeps a cool look.
Etho its been a while since I've watched a video from you but man I really loved this video! Thinking back to your old episodes I've just come to the conclusion that you've come so far that you can get whatever you want with the push of a button now XD. Love your whacky machines!
after installing that gold farm etho is literally on another level
ba dum tisssss
+Roescoe1 it would be bu sum tssss not tisssss
+Colby Harrris
*Ba
*Dum
You should afk at the xp farm to get the amount of levels as the episode number for each episode.
That would be cool
getting 460 levels is nearly impossible if possible without cheats
+BlackLight7 no its not. check xisumavoid's gold farm on his hermitcraft series. he got 666 xp LEVELS.
+BlackLight7 Nope, xisumavoid has achieved over 600 levels legitimately.
xisumavoid get 666 levels on hermitcraft then got killed lol
Etho, you should put lava on top of the magma blocks so it drips! I think it would look pretty cool! Keep up the great work!
thats a really cool idea
At the same time it will make every magma block have max light level, pure genius!
This needs to be done.
+MysticalWhiteBoy yea u can just did
+Eric Cartman You can, atleast on Google+ App

Etho: "Today im gonna make a replica of earth 1 to 1 scale, so 1 meter is 1 block in minecraft" Me: "Im gonna need some snacks."
No, no you're not doing it right, you need MORE SNACKS!! what did I say??? MORE SNACKS!!!!!! Still not GETTING IT YET??? MOOOOOOREEE SNACKS!!!!!!
HE DIDN'T EVEN USE HIS SNACK MACHINE TODAY!! THE HORROR
I'm gonna need a 7 course meal
A seven course... No it wont Do WE NEED A 20 course meal at the least
no no no, a 20 course meal, OF PURE SNACKS AND JUNK
Etho Use the bone blocks to make a gaint skeleton! It would be creepy and mysterious to think something so big died there.
Bone blocks already generate in the ground that way
+Cowcopter in a way yes but he means as in a monument
In his original chunks.
Hes got more stuff on this world than you can get in creative mode
That's actually pretty accurate
All on survival
it's pretty amazing if you think about it.
exactly
Cody Church calm down.
hey etho would you ever consider doing a full Q and A video. I think it'd be very interesting but it's up to you. keep up the good work.
P.S
I love you
Up you go.
I want this to be top comment so he might answer it
he does that every episode, command pf the day ^^
Nah most of the questions will be "Can you do a face reveal?".
He did a face video once, didn't he? I remember it being freaking awesome!
Old man Etho is going to look back on his Magma Block Walls and say to himself; "What was I thinking? This looks terrible!"
he already does
everybody does that with every update. it's funny because you can recognize what builds were made just after an update came out just by looking at what strange blocks that nobody would ever use in building (HAHEMpurpurHAHEM).
I think etho is the best at walls
I think the magma blocks look great
The redstone being almost invisible on nether wary blocks could be beneficial in building
yeah, and traps :D muhahaha
+Roescoe1 kill everyone who doesnt have MOOOORRRREEEE snacks...
+Fall3n - brilliant
+MajorMiddget31 XD i try
+Fall3n - well then may i be the reassurance in your attempt that which you do try and let it be known that youve done a great job! cx im so extra ~;-;~
That face palm sign lol
Also if only lava would work to collect it
Time mark?
+gabriel amber even if it wouldn't burn the drops it still only flows 4 blocks, but that would look so cool if it worked
6:36
Anyone else remember Mindcrack? That was one of my favorite series a while ago.
He quit Mindcrack, the server died
Wrong. He left as he didnt want to sign an agreement with guude saying what he could and couldn't do/upload so he decided not to return
Same
Legion He also didn't want his face reveled,...
anyone remember that episode with king of the ladder with the mushroom cloud aobve guude's house ? defenetly my favorite one
PLZ do the programming videos again! they where SO COOL
when did he do that?
+ficolas2 listen to the comment of the day.
I love that I'm subbed to three different people that have made this same gold farm but each of you has done their own tweaks to the system, cool to see how you can take an idea and make it your own!
I really loved this build because those blocks went so well together. KEEP BEING AWESOME ETHO!!!
Hey etho, you can get so many stacks of magma blocks from the nether. They spawn in huge veins, commonly reaching 6 stacks in size, and are easy to instamine.
Because he has an old world, he would have to travel at least 5k blocks to find any, if not further
I doubt Etho has explored everything even only up to the 3k coords. Unless Etho has a very organized nether quartz branch mine, or has generated every single chunk within 3000 blocks in all directions, there are likly as-of-yet ungenerated chunks in which many stacks of magma blocks can be found.
but think of how long a walk that would be to and fro when he can just sit at his farm for a few hours
Besides, if he afks, he can go do something else besides MC while waiting
Hey Etho!
You should seal off the top of the sky light and put some named blazes in it.
And i ended up watching the next ep cause of the goddamn recommendation which is his ep458
Me 2
Pin up Shox same
Same
11 months later, this literally happened to me LOL
The skylight idea for an underground farm looks amazing. I have to start doing that in the future.
Etho, in case you didn't know yet: magma blocks safe light untill you go away, when you come back they wont be lit up anymore (just the light level they have on their own). Etho, if your channel weren't successful, what would you be doing as a job now?
I would be the King Penguin of Antarctica.
+EthosLab why not king kangaroo of Australia?
EthosLab LOL
Really Etho? xD That's what your reply to me for the first time?
I can't dude
I gotta check to see if its actually him..
Its actually him
You know what
F*** highschool I'm going to Antarctica in September!
You know, I always look at your serious part Etho, BUT I OFTEN FORGET HOW MUCH OF A TROLL YOU ARE :))
I mean, he even used to drop anvils on people's heads, he puts wanky cut scenes in between the video fragments, he teases us with that friggin diamond door, he chucks diamonds into lava

He used to work as a store clerk in his family's greenhouse. He talked about it in an video of his about a year ago.
lol he worked with plants... we already know that from a video a long time back.
Etho was a florist.

Rare*
Except he'd probably have to travel really far in the nether to get it, since he's probably explored all of the nearby nether. Disadvantage of having an old world.
This is a good idea, since an hour of wandering the nether will probably yield more magma blocks than an hour of AFKing at the blaze spawner.
He might yield more blocks by wandering the nether, but first he has to get to new terrain (which would be a fair distance away), and secondly he has to actually spend *time and effort* collecting the blocks in the nether, whereas going AFK is time he can spend doing something else.

Before he did youtube I think he worked at a garden shop or was a botanist. Something like that. And, no I have not been stalking him all these years.
Dude those rumors have been going on for years no one knows if they're true.
He talked about it at one point, before he switched to doing youtube full-time he worked at his family's greenhouse. I don't remember what episode it was, but it's not just rumors.
He worked in a greenhouse, he has stated so many times.
He was a florist at his parents shop or something.
***** LOL, you are a good troll
I love your little commentless cut scenes with only minecraft elements and no screen overlays!
The build looks really nice, looking forward to you linking it up with the Man Cave
great job on that 1:1 model of earth so far etho, but how do you expect to finish it if you failed sesame street?
DESTROY THE CLAY ON THE OLD WORLD FOR 2 MIL!
etho have you ever thought about going to a minecon event or some other event not as etho but as you and blend into the crowd like a stealthy ninja or have you already done this and talk to fans with out them even knowing its you XD
ps if you do this you should get a petition for people to sign for you to show your own face as you talk to them XD
He's never gone I don't think and probably will go to meet friends on mindcrack and such.
you cant say for sure hes never gone and might avoid meeting the mindcrack friends so he doesn't get spotted out by fans by his voice or something
+Darth-Matt92 he's said he's never gone (that's easily believable). Plus he can skype up his friends and meet them at where he or they are staying.
i have yet to see him lie so i guess thats believable but meet up with them at there place? you do know how stalky fans can be theirs a reason he hides his face XD

I love the subtle clicks from Etho's keyboard, they're very friendly.
Keep up the good work by the way!
I think he knows it looks good, but it'll look very ugly from the surface
Etho was a gardener before he made Ethoslab.
EthosGarden
I can't believe that. Etho, if you read this, plz tell me if this is true.
He has talked about working in a flower shop many, many times.
It sound's like he has experience with programming and stuff.
He said he did horticulture... don't know what that is
I definitely liked the grass the best in the nether wart farm but it doesn't make a lot of sense in my head. Maybe something else green, hardened clay maybe? red and green contrast well, I just really didn't like the bone or mycelium.
Yeah nevermind, I posted before watching the whole thing... You made it look awesome with the grass, forgo sense it's a game xD
I personally much preferred the bone block because it fit the theme and white is always a nice color for floor
for the beging of the episode i was kinda meh because ive seen u do that and uve been doing allot of mob farms lately, but as soon as you started building i started to feel really inspired even though your not the most elaborate builder the way you talk of things and figure you building look and materials out just makes it inspiring to me so for that thank you Etho
I think that the slimes were a nice touch to the skylight - they matched with the glass color and kinda made it less lonely.
add purpur blocks or guardian blocks to give it variety like make it like ying yang fire and water
make one side look alive and the other side look dead and make skulls on side that would be perfect and more lava make it like an evil layer on one side
Last time I was this early
Etho was a noob
So you've never been early before?!
When? As long as I remember he's been supa not nooby
No such earlyness
oh yea dude your a long time fan!
Shitty memes are leaking.
Name the place HogWarts
I really like the design you're going for with the farm. The Magma blocks look really good.

I wonder how many of Etho's viewers are programmers? If you are a programmer, leave a like so we can see how many there are!
I develop premium spigot plugins and watch this to relax every now and then
GetMyCombos Nice! I work on machine learning algorithms like ConNeuralNets in python and a bit in C.
That's one of the reasons I'm such a big fan. I'm very interested in problem solving and technical stuff. I have dealt with my fair share of languages, but currently I'm working mostly with C#, C++, and x86/x64 assembly.
sometimes, I challenge myself and make simple games on Javascript. I've also done some python and ruby
+Just A Random Person I work with C++ JavaScript and Python but I've never heard of Ruby :/ I'll look into it :D
Etho do you ever get lost in your man cave?
I think said he does in a episode
I dont think he does, he's spend thousends of houres in there
Topaz If you want too see if you will just download his world and play on it for a bit.
Great stuff, Etho. I've watched you on and off for the past 2-3 years, and I never fail to appreciate your content. Keep up the great work man!

(at the top of my lungs) ETHO HOW DID YOU GET 143 LEVELS THAT IS YOUR RECORD!!!!!!!!!!!
(quietly) but i got 166 so i beat you
Etho you should place some dispensers beside each of the 4 places the pigmen fall with a double chest or so of healing potions beside them and hook them up to a longer timer to kill off the pigmen that don't die. Love your vids and keep up the great work!
Been on holidays for a week. Nice to come back and binge Etho's videos to catch up :)
Etho what mouse where you using and witch did you get
lol it is spelled which
+RetlocPeck Craft lol isn't a word.
+Jon Brady lol is a word, an acronym specifically.
Oh my... lol is not a word since it has no meaning besides its 'acronym'. It is however not an acronym because it is not a word. For something to be an acronym it has to be a word otherwise it is just initials.
+Corporal_Cake I actually looked it up and it was added to the Oxford dictionary -.-
Hey Etho, I know that you always say why you don't do the face cam thing but honestly we don't really care what you look like, even if you've been up for 3 days straight.
If you don't care why you want to see him?
Well for myself, I don't need him to ever show it.. I think it would be funny if he never did...However... If Etho does ever show his face I would instantly click on the video and want to see want he looks like. Maybe he doesn't want to be hassled about the way he looks (good or bad), but still I don't see why its that big of a deal if a lot of his fans want to see him. He can't look worse than boogie2988 right? and that guy has 3m subscribers... (not saying that its bad to look ugly lol)
+Shimko Jonathan he said we don't care what he looks like, read before you reply
The mystery should never be revealed. if he shows his face he's going to get so much slack for it. also, his voice is so soothing
DAMN, all these new subs
is it etho slab or ethos lab?
Both
Did you even look at the intro?
ETHO'S LAB
etho's lab
+Ambiticus Could be ETHO' SLAB like ETHOED SLAB
obviously etho slab... these other guys know nothing
That nether wart farm looks SOO COZY!!!! It looks warm and nice! Me love! Such yes!
Etho for the skylight in the middle of the nether wart farm you should level it with the grass around it (by adding more green glass on top of it) and cover it with dark green carpets; like that mobs wouldn't be able to spawn on it, it would be almost invisible and light would still go through the opening :)
Hey Ethel didn't you make a vault for all of your gold
Etho*
He mentioned that in an earlier video, it was too inconvenient to break and place blocks every time he wanted to get or store gold
Yea I remember that too! Ages ago
If you look next to your comment there should be 3 little dots. Click it and it'll drop down a menu that has an option to edit your comment so you don't have to post another one correcting yourself. :D
+Scratch I wonder if he ever did anything to that room or if it is just there.
Why don't you collect your magma blocks in the nether instead of crafting them? :)
+Aero Stunt etho has a really old world, so a really old nether, so if he wants spawned magma blocks he has to travel really far
Kees Hovinga Yeah isn't it easier to go get them tho? ^^
Etho's world is pretty huge already and to get them he would likely have to generate new terrain.
Because his Nether is ancient and there's no magma blocks for many thousand blocks in any direction.
Funny how I got 3 times the same answer :D
Well i think see my posts about my 1:1 world mod...
saw*
that was your mod? Cool mod bro!
+The Timelords i havent published it yet... Its in development
Wouldnt a 1:1 replica of earth (flat ofc) be over a tb atleast?
Experience oh. Well there is already a 1:1 earth mod that uses google maps coordinates to find anywhere on earth. You know about this dont you?
6:38 LOL that was a great addition!
Etho, I'm pretty sure path blocks have the same size collision box as soul sand. You can use that for your boarders I think!
I like the idea of slimes jumping around in your skylight. Reminds me of kaleidoscopes.
you got a massive world!
IIRC, 2.5D would also be called isometric or orthographic. however, there's a few different variations. I'd assume you're talking about the 'standard' isometric perspective games usually use. It's especially common in city building games, RTS, and MMORPGs.
For lighting you could use either dark oak or nether brick fences hanging from the ceiling with glow stone or other light sources
It is so hilarious that now they’re actually gonna build the earth in 1-1 scale
For the sides of the farm to prevent your warts from getting snagged, use hatches, half blocks or stairs. The look of the farm is great, it matches well with the theme of the ManCave but isn't too far off to the point where you'll never visit it again.
One series to reign them all !
I love the volume on this mouse it's unobtrusive but you can hear if you spam click. I like being able to hear that someone's clicking if there's nothing happening visually to show it.
I remember those old videos, good times.
Ethos is what you would call a minecraft god beyond all other minecrafters.
Coming back to these videos every once in a while always reminds me of I believe when Etho was playing on the 2011 season of Mindcrack... I think I remember him doing something with a Noah's Ark or something with PauseUnpause and Guude... I think...
Etho! On the gold farm you can make stairs from the bottom donut to the one above it so their is still the same amount of spawning space and the zombie pigmen will always die (hopefully you understand what I mean) xisuma did this on the mob farm on hermitcraft IV so you can check it out
This has to be one of the longest high quality series on RUclips n
Hey Etho, I think some sort of subterranean nature scene would look really awesome in the walls of your sky-light. Like maybe dig and carve into the sides to expose tree roots, mushrooms, and some swampy red fungus (Netherwart of course), and some of those things could be growing down the walls with some vines or something. Just a suggestion. Hope you think it's cool!
I've been re watching this series from the beginning and his voice has changed so much haha you can tell he's a lot more confident
Lmao the "5 not 6" sign after collecting the nether wart with his pickaxe. What a meme
I love how Etho's way of saying goodbye to us at the end of the video is hitting us in the face with an enchanted diamond pickaxe!
This was a really good episode. I don't know why, but it seems very well made. Keep it up Etho!
Those arches are so amazing!! Holy!! Good job etho. I love this
Hey Etho, just counted, you have 524 nether wart plants.
Arches look absolutely awesome
the doom and wolfenstein games looked like 3D but we're actually top down shooters. As you moved along the map the game scanned the walls in your supposed fov and displayed those on the screen.
that place is looking real good, I like the block pallet a lot
I like the keyboard clacking that his microphone catches. I also love it when he edits the video like he did at 6:35. :P
No suggestions for the room, but love the design, looks really cool and quite unique!
I like that your expanding the man cave and do more episodes of this
Last summer, I just started teaching myself Java because I wanted the learn game programming.
Etho is one of the first you tubers I watched
I love the look of the new area!
