Bathroom Fan Won't Turn Off

We had a bathroom fan that suddenly decided to stop turning off. We turned it on to vent the shower and then it would not turn off afterwards. Watch this short video to see how I fuxed it.

Closing the sink drain prevents small screws from falling down the drain.

Pro tip for sure. Learn that one when youre putting up a vanity light and you drop that little decorative nut down the drain...

It didn't work, unfortunately. I believe I have to take the fan apart to figure out why it runs 24/7.

I have a huge box around the wires, how do I take it off? The fan and the light share the same switch but only the fan doesn't turn off

Is this a new problem? Sounds like its wired incorrectly. They ended up splicing constant power and the bathroom fan together instead of the light and bahfan together and power on its own. Sorry cant help with the box around the wires you speak of.

I believe I used a 'regular' switch.
