There was another story of a man who lived in the mountains who was a vetinarian, and he was taking a walk in the woods and ran into a grizzly bear. He ran, which wasn't smart, but the bear did not chase him. When he got home, though, the bear was near him, and when he turned and looked at the bear, it kind of kneeled down and whined. Eventually he could tell it needed help, and in it's own way was asking for help. He decided to trust it, cautiously, and went a little ways with it. Then he realized it was a female, because she went in labor. She was having trouble, and he helped deliver her cubs. She also had a gash by her eye, and he helped with that. Then she went on her way. Then, about 8 months later, he was taking a walk in the woods, and fell in a ditch, twisting his ankle. A few minutes later, a black bear found him and he was ready to go after him, and suddenly something jumped on it-- it was another bear. After the fight, the second bear looked down on him, and he saw it had a scar by its eye, and it was the bear who he helped before. She jumped in the ditch, along with her cubs, and she pulled the man out of the ditch, let him rest a little, and walked with him, letting him lean on her as he made his way to his house. She walked with him the whole way. Then she and the cubs left. This shows that animals are smart, and are appreciative when helped. This is a beautiful story, showing the depth, compassion, and appreciation that animals have. Just wanted to share this story.

@Drew Hickford okay. There's nothing sick about hunting. I'm an ex hunter. I used to be an avid bow hunter but gave it all up after killing many deer and turkey. Never a bear. Just couldn't do it. I gave up hunting because my respect for the animals desire to survive finally overwhelmed me. I couldn't watch another animal die at my hands. However, that doesn't mean hunters are sick at all. Your opinion is sick and self centered around you. Not the animals. Most, not all hunters are ethical and not mindless blood thirsty killers.
@@maryrich9260 Mary. How do you know what goes through anyone's head? While there are a few hunters I'd like to hunt myself, most of the ones I know or met, are not blood thirsty killers. Only a very small handful of the hunters are bloodthirsty cold blooded killers you claim trophy hunters are. Anyone that hunts is a trophy hunter. Do you think they all set out to kill the little ones and let the big ones go free? Where were you in the last oil spill? You were on RUclips cussing big oil before you went out and filled your Ugo with gas. Many of the people that volunteered to help the wildlife were avid hunters. The hunters I used to bow hunt with, would not take a shot unless they were confident they wouldn't just wound the animal to go off and die for the Buzzards. Otherwise, they'd let them go. As did I. That being said, I despise people that haphazardly kill without respect to the animal.
Theres woods and forests everywhere.. everyone should go fill them with walnuts and fruit trees, and plant lots of other herbs spices and fruits and flowers in them too.. make them rich.. then the animals will have lots of food, and if your ever in need .. so will you.😎🤘
Why am I not sure what say,or make of this? I'll just keep as simple we all should, and say don't destroy our forests,or be greedy, and take more then you need from them, and they will do great all by itself, and the bears wouldn't need to speak English and knock on your door for help, if Jimmie would get off his lazy ass,and clean up his trash and remove his fishing net. Just as n idea I guess, but what's the fun in being a decent human being? SMFH @some people! One love people

Rhonda, Hunters understand nature WAY better than anyone else. That man simply read the bear correctly & responded. Prob more out of curisoty than anything else. Bushmen have done far more good for the wildlife than ANY Sierra clubber ever has. This is just 1 story of many of humans helping the critters. My wife/I are bush people. We raised 13 grizzly cubs whos mothers had been killed in various incidences. Mostly by boars ( male bears) who killed the mother while trying to eat the cubs. Was an experiment to raise the cubs for release back into the wild. Highly successful. But thoes stories never make the news. Stuff the Sierra Club knows well but will never tell their suckers who make them rich. Things are hardly ever as presented to the public. No $$ in the TRUTH.
It seems we all need to learn the lessons nature keeps on trying to teach us. Unconditional love for all creatures great and small. The human race needs a massive dose of humility and understanding.
@@marlondavidson6540 Yep. It could have ended differently. "Man returns cub to Mama bear." "Mama bear says You knew what I was when you rescued my cub" Mama bear eats man 😲

I love this story and I love bears. When Covid started here in Canada and we couldn't go anywhere, I was flipping through the channels and came across a bear story on Animal Planet. That show saved my life in this Covid world. They are all about baby bears being rescued when something happened to their mom. They have such personalities and each one is different. Now I watch them all the time. Even bought seasons 1 and 2 form youtube.
This was the touching wildlife experience of Timothy Dexter that happened in 2001 near Lake Grosvenor, Alaska. After he saved the cub's life, he said the mother bear and the cub would regularly return and show their gratitude by hauling off his trash. Timothy always trusted his bear friends and believed that when he loved them, they would love him back.
To say a bear hauled off the trash of this egotist as a sign of "gratitude" is a HUGE anthropomorphism, folks. Bears tend to EAT human trash, which is usually bad for them. "Timothy" unfortunately was mostly protein and the bears eventually incorporated him (and his innocent girlfriend) into their diet. I THINK this was in 2006. Sorry to pop the balloon. it's illegal to feed bears or get them accustomed to humans and lose thier fear. They may end up eating a human. it has already happened several times.

Mama bears are great mamas. Their reputation is legendary. Always treat wild life with affection and respect. Try to remember that bears are not wanton destroyers as we've been lead to believe by various authors and film makers. Bears are smart, sensitive emotional critters and I adore them.
I'm so glad for posts like this, instead of the troll filled toxic ones. Humanity is better than that, though we have for sure seen some bad examples. I love the bears, and have been fortunate to hear of several amazing animal stories which changed hunters forever, so that they turned their lives to helping the animals instead of harming them. Those stories are not taught to us in school, nor are they told on MSM, nor are hellywood films devoted to them. Censorship is a tremendous reason why these stories of the transformed hunters are so valuable to humanity!!!! Granted, this video didn't say the hunter committed to not hurting animals anymore, but, it was very moving nonetheless. Some people may not believe this story is actually true, but if I had to say, I would say that the stories of the greatest heroism, always goes to the animals. So many stories like this, it's ridiculous, and I hope humanity learns.

"Grizzlyman" Tredwell tried that. Now hes bearshit. Got his girlfriend killed & eatin too. Easy to be a critic when you know nothing & never done that. My grandfather was a rancher in BC up in the Interior and you had to ride a horse to go meet him back in the day. He got caught without his firearm to fire a warning shot and scare the bears. No one actually shoots bears, they fire warning shots, and use protective products to stop the bears from coming to the homes for food. I just don't understand why that guy thought he could live in that bear's territory. Because that's what it came down to. He and his girlfriend invaded territory. He was a beta invading territory and when the bears were bored with the betas they decided enough is enough. That's how alpha animals work. Yeah, hunting is actually much less about actually hunting animals, than it is caring for wildlife. My father often make sure the animals have sources of food during harsh winters, puts salt/mineral rocks out for them, and more often than not he dont even bring his gun when he leaves for his hunting cabin. Exactly- like he normally does, along with his other sick buddies probably. 🙄
That's one reason Why's I've been a vegetarian for the last 45 years!!
@@crasherxtreme trophy hunters are sick. They do it because they love watching things die at their hands. That’s sick.
Theres woods and forests everywhere.. everyone should go fill them with walnuts and fruit trees, and plant lots of other herbs spices and fruits and flowers in them too.. make them rich.. then the animals will have lots of food, and if your ever in need .. so will you.😎🤘
should you unbalance what is natural to an area?
Why am I not sure what say,or make of this? I'll just keep as simple we all should, and say don't destroy our forests,or be greedy, and take more then you need from them, and they will do great all by itself, and the bears wouldn't need to speak English and knock on your door for help, if Jimmie would get off his lazy ass,and clean up his trash and remove his fishing net.

Hello Nelly how are you doing?

Yeah, hunting is actually much less about actually hunting animals, than it is caring for wildlife. My father often make sure the animals have sources of food during harsh winters, puts salt/mineral rocks out for them, and more often than not he dont even bring his gun when he leaves for his hunting cabin. He just enjoys watching the animals, keeping track on how they are doing, and make sure they are not injured or starved.
