Well I don't quite remember exactly but somewhere a few months ago I had read heard or watched that they had broken up when she was first pregnant so I'm not aware that this was supposed to be some big hidden secret.

Wow I never expected this not in a million years as she is such a planner and a responsible person. I also thought for sure they were going to break up and he would move out. I'm sure with no doubt her parents flew off the handle at first but they are a close family and that is why I'm sure they all rallied together , accepted this situation and began to love this little one that will be coming soon. I don't want to make any prejudgment about this, but bringing a child into the world before marriage doesn't seem very responsible. There is no room for excuses like “it happened, it was bad”, there are several prevention methods. But if they decided this by mutual agreement, fine, God bless them. My brothers and I were raised very rigidly too, and thanks to this path that my mother took for us, today we are good people, we have never had any problems.

I agree, yes she can finish nursing school, but it may take longer. Surely, you understand. A baby to take care of now means money for diapers, milk and a lot of other needs. These funds could have been put toward college classes. Also, when she chooses to return, there is now the expense daycare unless there's a family member or friend available. It's a lot. I don't think people are sad that she's having a baby, but this baby will add a lot more responsibilities to her already full life...but will also bring a lot of joy, too.

I was on the pill for one and IUD for the second!! I am now 71 and my husband and I did good, it wasn't always easy but we did it!

Elizabeth's Dad strikes me as having an anger management problem. That episode where he was teaching her to drive made me so sad. I hope she has a healthy pregnancy and that she and Brice are happy to be expecting.
Once I tried to teach my sister even though she had a license and everything, and at a certain point she confused the accelerator pedal with the brake, since my car is manual. So I can't say that Elizabeth's father was angry or anything like that, she just had frustrated expectations (she thought her father was going to praise her, but she got scolded).
He very well could. It’s really not that uncommon especially with men 40+. Times were different when they were kids and not only were they not being taught about mental health problems but they were treated like they needed to be strong and tough. My dad has anger issues that went unsolved until he was about 35 because the help we have today just did not exist before. I have anger issues as well because of my dad but I had a better understand of it at a younger age so I’ve been able to manage it really well.
I am so amazed that Trent and Amber accepted that Elizabeth and Brice are expecting. I thought that they would have a fit about it but it seems that they have come to accept the fact that Elizabeth is carrying their first grandchild. All I can say is CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL.
Just because she's pregnant is not a reason to stay together if he's really not into her and they're both so young. Not a great way to start out. Hopefully; they do love each other and he's not staying just because of the baby. I think Elizabeth is very insecure and needy, but tries to hide it by acting all confide. I don't think there were any issues with Brice in the relationship, only her insecurity and needing him to constantly reassure her with "romantic" gestures. Life kicks in at some point, its not all dates and roses.

I hope this doesn’t push Elizabeth into a relationship because of the baby! Baby daddy seems very immature and maybe with time will grow up. He needs to be responsible for his things he has laying around the house and needs to learn to pick up after yourself. Elizabeth is not your mother and needs to pick up after you. I would also watch his drinking, Elizabeth doesn’t need that in her life or her baby. Take it one day at a time, when you moved in with him you saw he wasn’t what you thought your relationship would turn out. Don’t jump into marriage or a engagement just because your pregnant. You still can do your schooling and work and have a baby. You have sisters who will help out when they can I’m sure. But get a reliable adult for the baby while you work. Do back ground checks and and police record have family drop in unexpectedly to check on the baby at the sitters. Be sure to talk to her friends and family and neighbors you make any decisions on a sitter. This is your child protecting the baby is very important!
I think they will be wonderful parents. I'm sure Amber and Trent will get use to it knowing how strong willed their daughter is. There really isn't much they can do. She is of age and very grown up. They are smart to accept it and be supportive or lose her.

I don't think there were any issues with Brice in the relationship, only her insecurity and needing him to constantly reassure her with "romantic" gestures. Life kicks in at some point, its not all dates and roses.

That man is lazy and he seeked Liz out knowing she had a show. In my opinion he is just using her as a money bag.
I hope this doesn’t push Elizabeth into a relationship because of the baby! Baby daddy seems very immature and maybe with time will grow up. He needs to be responsible for his things he has laying around the house and needs to learn to pick up after yourself. Elizabeth is not your mother and needs to pick up after you. I would also watch his drinking, Elizabeth doesn’t need that in her life or her baby. Take it one day at a time, when you moved in with him you saw he wasn’t what you thought your relationship would turn out. Don’t jump into marriage or a engagement just because your pregnant. You still can do your schooling and work and have a baby. You have sisters who will help out when they can I’m sure. But get a reliable adult for the baby while you work. Do back ground checks and and police record have family drop in unexpectedly to check on the baby at the sitters. Be sure to talk to her friends and family and neighbors you make any decisions on a sitter. This is your child protecting the baby is very important!

I think they will be wonderful parents. I'm sure Amber and Trent will get use to it knowing how strong willed their daughter is. There really isn't much they can do. She is of age and very grown up. They are smart to accept it and be supportive or lose her.

The conversation about her and Brice not seeing eye to eye, that she had with her mom seemed legit. I know they do make stuff like that up, or embellish it for ratings. My first thought about her being pregnant is her health. She has gained so much weight and i know that is difficult during pregnancy.
