Im with someone now, who i strongly believed saw this in me and who i believed was a man like this, the disrespect towards me, the put downs, the belittling, the passive-aggressive comment that tore me down have messed me up so bad that i have been acting out of character for the past two years and im working at finding myself again. I get what he’s saying about submitting. Women do want to submit to a man and let him take control over a lot of the larger things in life, and we can sit back and manage the other parts of life. But it takes a very specific man that is trustworthy and makes you feel comfortable to let go of the control. Most men do not even come close. And i think it’s because they don’t take the time, like this man, to learn women, and about relationships, and be realistic about how that dynamic works. Most men want the results without putting in the work themselves.

A lot of people here is missing his point. For me, what he meant is. He wants his woman to be submissive to him. To fully trust him. To let go of control. He wants her to be at peace with him. My personal life need not be intertwined with my work life, rather, personally, I'd prefer for it to not be. At the same time, I'd love it if my girl can help out with business decisions and stuff.
