Let me say as a black woman who started experiencing dv as a child, it was my family including my mother, who taught me to protect bm from the consequences of their actions, by the fact that they knew what was happening and did nothing. They did nothing to protect me and they did nothing to punish the perpetrator. That created a subconscious perception for me about how things like this are to be handled. It took counseling for me to realize my reaction to abuse as an adult was not normal. I am not in other people’s mind. So, I do not understand why previous generations seem to protect bm and sacrifice bw and girls. I don’t understand what’s going through their minds. I care about DV and individuals who perpetuate it should be locked up. I hope woman stop protecting men from the consequences of their actions.

He is not a clinical psychologist. he is a school psychologist. there is a big difference. he does not have the training and/or education to diagnose or understand clinical issues. all he can do is administer ieps, individual educational plans for students who will need to enter specialized education programs.

He should also know that many victims NEVER come forward AT ALL. So, even as a school psychologist he should be well aware of this. 🤦🏿♀️😒
