I'm a little late looking at this ,but happy I did.My Husband and I have been married 4yrs this year. We were getting off a elevator one day I was in front of my Husband exiting the elevator he was behind me young lady spoke to my Husband said not one word to me.So I asked him if he knew her he said no. I let him know when someone speaks to you and don't speak to me that's not right cuz we are 2gether, so next time that happens you reply back by saying WE are doing fine thanks for asking. I'm so sorry 😔 for your experience, I started to think how many women I know who have experienced this in life. Many more than I could count. It was hard and tough for them, but majority of them picked up the pieces and went on to find happiness. Fantasia I love you and your husband...your marriage is a wonderful example for the people in your age demographic and those that are younger.
As an older woman I have to tell you that when you cut Kendall off in the middle of a "word", you deny the audience an opportunity to receive the benefit of the story that he's sharing.
I understand that you have a viewpoint that you want to share...but please allow him to finish his statements, so that the viewers can gain the valuable gems within the story.
Cutting him off changes the trajectory of the conversation, and if you don't go back to it after you interrupt him to share your thoughts...then that topic and the lessons therein is lost, and the opportunity for growth is missed.
I feel as if we missed out on something that Kendall was trying to share about his vulnerability, and we never got to receive it.
The whole conversation changed and then he simply segued into the next topic. I feel that the men that were watching missed out on a wonderful chance to see and hear...FROM A MAN...that it is ok to be vulnerable with your mate...so as to not keep a part of themselves "behind their back".
