I was debating on getting SHF versus this model kit. I am always a bit too sloppy in model kit construction so i was hesitant to get this kit over the SHF but I REALLY just like the proportions of the kit better then the figure, not to mention the ab/waist articulation/construction just seems better then the SHF figuarts which look a little too blocking above the waist.
Been a while since you did a Figure rise Kit! I think I like this one more than the SHF one because I kinda like the FRS proportion more! also Stickers yuck 😢 I definitely gonna have to paint those green parts.
It's clever for Bandai to release the model kit at about the same time as the SH Figuarts. But considering their price is very close, with the model kit just slightly cheaper, the SHF is just better since it'll have a better build.
@@eightysixedreviews didn't feel offended by that at all, but despite not mashing my figuires against each other my figure rise ultra instinct broke at the joint between the abs and the chest after 4 years of good service, wish more figure rises from dragon ball would release. They are cheaper alternative that is most of the time better than dragon stars which are the other cheap alternative for sh. I still buy sh but figure rise are also very nice.

Right the proportions and design choices make the figure rise look SOO NICE but I’m worried about how playable it is

Also, total non-sequitur, but I’d lose it for some Sakamoto Days Figuarts. Bandai/Tamashii need to make that happen!

Are you getting the shf version? I was tempted to which one should I get either frs or shfiguarts 😌nvm, you already got one lol
This is like 25 bucks overpriced. Barely as much plastic as an hg... this is a joke.
It's just about $35. That's really cheap. You shouldn't be collecting if that's too expensive for you. 😅
