    Well done on the new hydro, perfect loader and hay machine. Dad had a 574 hydro back in the 70s, should have kept it but it got traded.

    I recognize that tractor! You got it from my uncle who had literally sheds full of those old internationals probably over 100 of them and sold all but a 956, 2 1066 and a 1088, only a a handful of hydros though and most of the were 756s that sold faster than you can say rare, that was the only bigger hydro they were selling so lucky find!

    • @knappfarms
      @knappfarms  Год назад +1

      Yeah everything we have heard you will blow the pump if you use them for heavy tillage but we have the gear drives for that this will be loader work and mowing hay and so far it is great on the disk mower and loading round bales saves a lot of time

  • @hankelrod7315
    @hankelrod7315 Год назад +1

    Grew up with hydros, try not to jerk hydro handle unless you go all the way back to neutral; we put the aftermarket higher flow rate hydraulic pump in all of them to speed up loader functions; fav is 1026

    That's going to make a nice addition to your farm. Those IH quick attach loaders are nice and easy to take off and put back on. I can take mine off in 30 seconds and put it back on in 3 minutes. But they are a little built. They don't take a lot of digging in the dirt. They have a tendency to break at the crossmenber behind the bucket. . I have seen a lot of them welded back together. Enjoy your tractor and thanks for sharing.

      Good to know on the loader primarily it will be moving hay but might have to reinforce it a little because I’m sure we will want to fix some lanes with it

    Hydros are great on any kind of PTO work - you will love it as you match the ground speed to conditions. Only use HyTran as they of all applications require the additives found in it. Enjoy your new toy!

    Hydro is perfect loader tractor. Slap her into neutral rather than pulling lever slowly back . For moving and loading bales cant be beat.😁👍

    • @knappfarms
      @knappfarms  Год назад

      Wouldn’t slapping it into neutral take longer because then you have to step on the clutch and put it back onto low or high maybe something is out of adjustment on ours

      The bigger framed hydros 826, 1026, 966, 1066, 186, 3488 had a different style hydro and it made them last forever compared to the small frame 544, 656, 70, 84, 86. I had a couple friends that had hydro, out lasting motor
