    So where am I going wrong?
    Can't afford to upgrade my 2070S with the newer cards being way out of my reach, so decided to OC for the 1st time to get a boost. Followed your instructions and settings... slightly lower by a few points, even though it was stable in Kombuster... and went to check framerates out in Cyberpunk'77 benchmark... and they were LOWER by around 20%... 1440p with mostly medium settings, RT and DLSS, was getting around 50fps before OC and they dropped to 40fps... Disabled the OC, and it jumped back to 50fps

    this doesn't make your pc faster, also you should go up by 10 per time, on a 2070 super i managed to get 170 core clock and 1500 memory clock, also it dosnt mess up and cannot break or mess up you card, it can however get stuck in a loop if you click STARTUP and set the options 2 high, spending 20 quid on some fans also help . just remember go up your CORE CLOCK by 10 and MEMORY CLOCK by 100 ,

    • @angadsgeekchannel259
      @angadsgeekchannel259  3 года назад +2

      Hey, not meaning to be rude, however when you overclock your GPU the main purpose is to make your PC perform better (faster). And you also stated go by 10, and 100 which you can, you can even go by 1 if you would like. However when you go by 20 like I did in my video, you will get to your overclock 2x faster, and even if your computer cannot handle a memory clock (while going up by 20), your PC will not crash, just your software. I have a new 2070 super and I’m getting about 2000mhz without any tweaking.
    My temps are about 60 degrees Celsius.
    is this normal?

      Hey, this depends on the company that made the GPU. I have one from GIGABYTE and without overclock, mine was sitting at around 1800. So if you were to compare yours to mine, yours is amazing. However, that might be the average MHz for the company you have bought it from. Hope I explained it.

      This may be because your GPU is made by a different company from mine. I kept crashing went I went over my limit as well. Have you put your clock speed, and fan speed according to the video?

      @@angadsgeekchannel259 yes, mine is an evga brand so my power limit goes to 130 so I think that is what was messing it up, I’ll look around some more but thank you for the information

    20% to 30% even with LN2 is almost impossible you have got to be smoking something, I don't know how videos like this get there figures unless their comparing the oc to undervolting

    Funny, got my 2070 super overclocked at 2ghz and I can't see any difference. At best ur gonna see mayyyybe 1-3fps improvement on some cards but anyone knows a 30% increase would involve actually buying a new more powerful card. Don't fall for this bs clickbait.

    • @angadsgeekchannel259
      @angadsgeekchannel259  3 года назад

      Hey, are you sure you got 1-3 fps more. Because everyone except for you has been able to get the advertised 20% - 30% more. Maybe your card is at fault. Also, you are able to achieve 2ghz without even overclocking your GPU, so I don't think your overclock has been done properly. If you are facing any problems please let me know!
